What a story? I know it has been a long time as I haven't had the desire to write for as while but it kind of came back to me for this one ^^
~ "You think we can make it through the Boreal Wall this time?" Flint asked as the three Adventurer Hunters reached the snowy plains just beyond the ice mountains, the hailstorm of snow whipping fiercer then ever before, affecting him more due to his nature as a fennec unlike Ion and Zephyr who were foxes of the arctic type. "Positively" Ion answered with a smirk on his face as he stepped forward a bit before raising both his arms out, he clenched his fingers as small bolts of cold blue lightning coursed around them, as his new found Sol Sphere Lightning formed in his palms, this new ability created from his lightning adeptness combined with his Kyuubi power of the Sol, created a defense type orb that could burst into a leyline of lightning that would create fierce storms to perfectly counter anything that could come his way. The storm of the Boreal wall intensified at the appearance of Ion's Sol, causing him to create more around his being to keep up the defense until the lightning burst out in the leyline causing the Boreal wall to pull back in a small area around the three boys. Taking a breath to focus himself, Ion let out a grin as he sent the remaining Sols up into the sky, where they burst down in fierce lightning strikes as his lightning storm was starting to takeover the snow storm of the Boreal wall. The snow storm faded into more of a light downpour as the lightning now dominated the sky as Ion looked back towards his mates, "as thought, the storm of the Boreal Wall is not naturally occurring, it is being created by someone, somewhere in these lands, for some reason and I intend to figure it all out" Ion said as Flint nodded in agreement while Zephyr looked deep in thought. "Yes it is something we should figure out" Zephyr started saying, "but is it something we can actually do? We don't know where this person is or what their desires are, no to mention these lands are unexplored so there isn't even a baseline for that either" Zephyr continued as Flint gave him a glare, "where is your sense of adventure?" He asked, "isn't that what we do? Isn't that what we are here for?" Flint interjected as Zephyr gave a sigh. "Yes I understand that but I am just layout the reality as we still need to be prepared all aspects otherwise it could all for naught" Zephyr pointed out, "plus there is still the skill level, yes Ion right now is keeping this person's storm in check but how long can he keep it up? Is this all their strength or can they intensify more? Remember we... or at least I am not a Kyuubi so my power is at a lost here and while yes you have inherited that power from your own Ion, you are nowhere near our Ion's level in that respect" Zephyr continued as Flint looked a little annoyed.
"You still haven't change since you were a kid, always still the worry wart, if we keep doing what you kept saying we would never have gotten anywhere" Flint interjected once more, "again I am just being realistic, it is how we survive, to be able to keep doing these adventures and discoveries" Zephyr countered in a more about fact tone as Ion made a sigh as he walked back towards his two mates before placing a hand on each of their shoulders. "Flint, I know you have some friction with your own Zephyr but our's is not at fault for that so please calm down a bit on your emotions when it come to him" Ion said as Flint started to look a little depressed, almost angry at himself after realizing Ion's words rang true, "and you do know, Zephyr is right, we can't ignore all the dangers this expedition will bring us and we do need to be prepared for them, however" Ion continued before turning his head towards Zephyr. "Flint is right we do still need to have our sense of adventure, striking out into the unknown is why we became Hunters after all and we trained and prepared for many years to be able to do this so I know we are all prepared to face whatever comes our way" Ion started saying Zephyr nodded in agreement, "don't sell yourself short, your power is strong, we have made it out of a lot of situations because of it and even if you still feel like it is not enough, then remember we are also there to lend a hand, remember to keep that trust in your teammates to have your back when it comes down to it, as we said before, together with the three of us, noting can take us down" Ion continued in an inspiring commanding tone as he released his hands from his friend's shoulders. "Right" Flint said with a smirk, "ok I am still in" Zephyr also answered, "but we still have to be prepared, how long can we kepp the Boreal Wall at bay?" Zpehyr asked as Ion gave him a smile, "as long as my storm keeps fighting theirs, we should be able to walk through without any interference, so as long as I can keep up the Sols, doing that will not be a problem" Ion answered as he created and sent up more Sols into the sky, them bursting into the leyline of lightning, keeping his storm raging throughout the skies, "so come on, lets adventure into the unknown!" ~
