Seems not just Gawain ended up in the present world! Lancelot found himself thrown through time and space, landing on Angel Island much to his confusion. After a tense meeting with Knuckles, Lancelot learns of his disappearance in the books, and the rebirth of his rival Gawain... But with no way to get back to the past, and Knuckles being far too aware of the things that happened between Lancelot and Sonic, he decides to make this new land his home.
Unlike Gawain, Lancelot adopts a minimalist approach, with jointed gauntlets and woven greaves. Not as effective as metal armor, but according to Knuckles, the items are quite tough even still. And he still has his plethora of magical abilities at his disposal!
That is, when he's not distracted by his new boyfriend's teasing toes...
