Well... I Do Appreciate the Flattery
About an hour passes, Lash wakes up - Arthur couldn't sleep.

"I’m sorry, Arthur. I didn’t mean to cry. It’s just..." Lash trails off, Arthur takes the opportunity to gently hug her."It’s okay, Lash. It’s completely understandable. You’ve been through a lot. I’m here for you through this."

Lash wraps an arm tightly around his. "Thank you. You’re a really good friend." Arthur smiles softly, a small bit of sadness mixed with pride at hearing those words. "Anytime, Lash".

"Let’s start the day, okay? We can talk more later if you need to." Arthur says as Lash nods back. "Yeah, that sounds good." Lash replies.

They both get up from the bed, and Lash begins to get dressed, not minding Arthur’s presence. Arthur, trying to be respectful, averts his eyes but occasionally sneaks a glance, feeling flustered. Lash can feel the eyes on her and doesn't mind them.

"You know, Arthur, you’re really sweet. And... you don’t have to be so shy around me." Lash says, stopping to look at the man as Arthur blushes. "I’m just trying to be respectful, you know?"

Lash chuckles. "I appreciate that. But we’re friends, right? No need to be so tense." Arthur nods "Right, friends." Lash continues to get dressed. "And just so you know, I noticed you sneaking glances. You don’t have to pretend."

"I... I didn’t mean to... I mean..." Arthur replies, slightly panicked. "It’s okay, Arthur. I’m not offended. In fact, it’s kind of flattering. "The men of my tribe would always have their eyes on me, I'm used to the attention and I'm very aware of what my beauty does to men." And by the way... nice size." Lash says nonchalantly.

Arthur stops to look at her. "Nice... size?" He says confusedly. Lash pulls up her jeans and zips them, looking proud that she managed to figure out the human gizmo and looks back over at him. "Oh, while I was laying on you I could feel your..." Lash does an upward nod while looking at his crotch. "Very nice indeed, Human. You'd make a couple of the men of my tribe jealous, though I think Razor's a tad bigger" Arthur's eyes grow wide in mortified realization.

"Lash! You can’t just say things like that!" Arthur says, his body freezing up in embarrassment. "You just said you'd stop teasing!"

"Who said I was teasing? It’s true." Her eyebrows raise and fall twice. "And you’re blushing again. Such a cute look on you." She runs an open claw over his tshirt, gently dragging her nails over it. Lash looks up at him, "Have a little more confidence in yourself, Arthur." before walking out of his bedroom.

Arthur continued to stand there for a moment before speaking a word to himself. "I think I need a coffee and a very thorough cold shower." while at the same time he could help but feel a bit proud of his own body.

And So The Journey Begins
Arthur and Lash stood at the bus stop, waiting for their ride. The rumble of the bus could be heard in the distance, and Lash’s excitement was palpable. As soon as the doors hissed open, she bounded up the steps, her eyes darting around the interior, wide with curiosity. "Come on, Arthur! This thing's fast, right? We'll be there in no time!" she exclaimed, practically bouncing in her seat. Arthur, on the other hand, took his time. He calmly hoisted his bag into the overhead compartment, pulled out a small pillow, and stuffed it behind his head as he sat down next to her.

“Calm Down, Lash,” Arthur muttered as he leaned back, already settling in for a nap. But her attention was already elsewhere. As the bus began to move, Lash’s head swiveled toward the window, her nose almost pressed against the glass. “What’s that big shiny thing?” she asked, pointing at a tower of metal rods climbing to the sky. She stared at passing cars and billboards, her voice a constant stream of questions. Arthur let out a sigh, cracking open one eye as he adjusted his pillow. “That’s a cell tower, it's how my phone works. Relax, we’ve got hours to go.” But Lash couldn’t help herself; the human world was strange, full of things she had never seen, and each one seemed more fascinating than the last. She seemed to partially forget the predicament at hand, which Arthur found relatively charming.

There's More Even After the Buildings?
The truth didn't really set in for Lash yet, she has no grasp of of how far away she actually is from home. Arthur had shown her a map of the world and how far away her home was to where they were in the city, but all Lash took from it was "paper has stuff drawn on it".

Wait! How Far Are We?!
"How much time had passed while she was in the red orb?", Lash thought to herself. Lash had no concept of time while she was locked away in the crimson sphere. As Arthur spoke more about the sea and the air she started to realize that her home was far enough to even make the humans, who had mastered all of the elements, reluctant to make the journey. She felt a familiar feeling start to creep in as they moved along the road. Anxiety... Worry...  Loss...

Restless Passenger
As the feelings of dread started to creep in Lash decided to put them aside with some exploring. Every few minutes, she’d hop out of her seat, wandering up and down the aisle, peering at the other passengers. Arthur, half-asleep, gave a groggy warning to stay put, but she was too fascinated by everyone around her. Especially the tall, burly man seated a few rows ahead. His features were unmistakably canine—thick, reddish-orange fur poking out from beneath his collar, a mane around his neck, and a fiery gleam in his eyes. Lash tilted her head, staring openly. "Arthur," she whispered loudly, "that one looks like me but his color is way brighter. What do you think he is?"

The Arcanine man’s ear twitched, and he turned to face her, irritation clear on his face. "What are you staring at, missy?" he growled, his voice rumbling low. Lash blinked, unfazed, leaning in closer as if trying to catch a better look at what he was doing. He grumbled louder, his fiery gaze narrowing. “Mind your own business.”

Before Arthur could stir from his half-dream state, a woman sitting across the aisle rolled her eyes and stretched lazily. A Luxray, her electric blue and black fur sleek, with golden eyes that crackled with energy. “Knock it off, fire-breath,” she said to the Arcanine, waving a paw dismissively. “She’s just curious.”

The Luxray woman leaned over toward Lash, her gaze soft but amused. “Hey there, what’re you looking for, shortcake?” Lash shrugged, her sharp teeth flashing in a grin. “I just like looking at everyone. You all do such interesting things!” The Luxray chuckled and patted the seat next to her. “Come sit by me then, if you wanna chat. I don’t bite.”

Lash plopped herself down without hesitation, already absorbed in a new conversation, while Arthur simply sighed and pulled his pillow back around his neck, figuring this trip was going to be anything but quiet.

Kindred Soul
Arthur, who had been trying his best to ignore the commotion and settle into a nap, couldn’t help but open his eyes when he heard the Luxray woman’s laughter. Glancing over the back of his seat, he saw Lash animatedly chatting away, her hands flying as she described something in her usual energetic way. The Luxray was laughing harder now, her sharp teeth showing in a grin, clearly amused by whatever Lash was saying. Arthur’s brow furrowed as he watched them. Lash, noticing his stare, whispered something to the Luxray, who looked over at him with a smirk.

Without warning, the two of them ducked down, squeezing themselves into the small gap under the seats. Arthur blinked, momentarily losing sight of them both. “What the—” he muttered, leaning forward in his seat, trying to figure out where they had disappeared to. He could see their legs sticking out from under the chairs, but whatever they were up to was hidden from view.

"whisper- No... no...whisper- You were in his...and he..."

For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence. Then, suddenly, an eruption of laughter burst from beneath the seats, echoing through the bus. The sound was so loud and wild that a few passengers turned to look. Arthur sighed, shaking his head in mild exasperation, knowing full well that whatever Lash had gotten herself into now, it was far from ordinary.

Oooh....What?
As the Luxray woman leaned back, still chuckling from their shared laughter, she gave Lash a once-over, her golden eyes glinting with interest. “You know, you've got quite the figure on you, Shortcake,” she said with a sly smile, her voice lowering as she shifted closer, her arm brushing Lash’s. Lash, completely oblivious to the woman’s intent, smiled back innocently.

"Thanks!" Lash said, her sharp teeth flashing in a grin. "Back in the jungle, my family used to say I was built for climbing trees and outrunning Liepards." She began talking excitedly about her home, her words rapid. "I miss them sometimes, my family. I grew up far from here, deep in my jungle! Arthur's helping me get back there, you know. He's been showing me the human world, but it’s strange—nothing like the jungle. They don’t even have proper hunting grounds! Everything is just there when you need it"

The Luxray woman blinked, her expression shifting from flirtatious to confused. “Uh, the jungle?” she repeated, her ears flicking in disbelief as Lash rambled on about her wild home. Lash didn’t seem to notice the growing awkwardness, continuing to talk about her family, how she missed the dense trees, the open sky, and how she couldn’t wait to get back. Arthur, according to her, was the one guiding her through this strange world.

Just as the Luxray was about to say something, the bus driver's voice crackled over the intercom. "Next stop coming up. Anyone departing, please be ready."

The Luxray woman, still half-stunned by Lash’s unexpected monologue, glanced up, realizing it was her stop. “Well, looks like this is where I get off,” she muttered, standing up quickly. She gave Lash a final, bemused glance, no longer interested in pursuing the conversation. “Till next time, Lash,” she said, before making her way to the door, shaking her head. "Why am I always attracted to the crazy ones" she muttered to herself as she left through the door.

Sneaky
Arthur had finally drifted off into a deep sleep, the gentle sway of the bus and the muffled hum of conversation providing a rare moment of peace. As he slumped against the window, his pillow tucked under his head, he had no idea that the Luxray woman had reached her stop and with a pleasant goodbye exited the bus. Lash, left alone once again, sat back in her seat, her thoughts swirling in the quiet.

For a few minutes, she sat still, tapping her claws lightly on the armrest, gazing out the window at the blur of scenery. But it wasn’t long before her mischievous side kicked in. Arthur was fast asleep, completely unaware of her plotting. A grin spread across her face as she slowly slid out of her seat, crouching low, her sharp teeth gleaming in amusement. She moved stealthily, inching closer and closer to Arthur’s side, careful not to wake him just yet. Her eyes narrowed in delight as she planned her next move, ready to pounce on her unsuspecting companion.

Sleeping Buddy
Lash had been creeping up on Arthur, fully intending to give him a scare, maybe fake some sort of urgent problem just to watch him wake up in a huff, flustered and confused. But as she crouched near his seat, she paused, her eyes lingering on him. His chest rose and fell in steady rhythm, his face soft and peaceful in sleep. For a moment, Lash was struck by how different he looked asleep—his lips relaxed, his smooth, hairless skin oddly fascinating to her. The tuft of blonde hair on his head seemed so strange, yet somehow comforting.

She watched him a little longer, her plan slipping away as she noticed how calm he seemed. A part of her, usually so full of energy and mischief, longed for a bit of that peace. Quietly, without waking him, she slid between Arthur and the window, her small frame fitting snugly beside him. Her soft fur brushed against his arm, but he barely stirred, too deep in his nap to notice. Lash nestled in closer, the warmth of his presence making her feel safer than she had in a while. Slowly, her eyes fluttered shut, and with her head resting against him, she nodded off to sleep, wrapped in a rare moment of tranquility.

Dark Tidings
As the bus hummed along the road, a woman seated across from Arthur and Lash stared intently at them. Her eyes, cold and calculating, were locked on Arthur as he slept. She sat still, her face unreadable, but her gaze never wavered. Slowly, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a pistol, her fingers wrapping around the grip with practiced ease. Without a word, she raised it, aiming directly at Arthur’s chest, her expression unwavering.

Quickening Heartbeat
At that exact moment, Arthur jolted awake, his heart pounding in his chest. He had been dreaming—something dark, something unsettling, but he couldn’t quite remember. Still half-asleep, he glanced across the bus, his eyes scanning the exact spot from his dream. The seats were empty, no woman, no pistol. Nothing.

His breathing slowed, but the eerie feeling lingered. The bus rolled on, quiet and unchanged, as if the strange vision had been nothing more than a passing nightmare.

...And I Did Very Bad Things
His mind was half asleep but he knew the woman from his dream. He couldn't put a name to her but his mind swirled with the knowledge that he knew who she was, he knew she was dangerous. He had to reassure himself she wasn't around.

It couldn't be her... How could she out of prison? His mind raced back through his memories, trying to remember her face. The trauma he had been through tried it's hardest to block her from his memory. All he could see was a blur. And he started to think back on his situation and reflect.

...Because I Wasn't Always A Good Person
It would of been so simple to get the police to help Lash, although I doubt they'd fully believe the story at first. A tribe of Mightyena living within the safari zone? A tall tale sure, but with the way the world works it's not like it's impossible. Although, if they did believe him he'd have to explain his hand in altering her ability to speak their language.

Talk tickets were not to be used on just anyone, you weren't allowed to just force someone to learn a language - there were laws about this in place. A practice with much controversy in the news at the moment, the technology was a breakthrough from Silph, but altering someone's mind for convenience? That's a bit of a immoral gray area if there ever was one. Not to mention he had used an auto-ticket, one that's only to be used on wild animals, another tick on his guilty punch card.

He'd used it in self-defense to avoid the thrashing of a wild woman but he also technically kidnapped her, so this was likely not going to end well when his past came up with the rest of it.He was only in this situation because he acted again before thinking. The law for the most part wouldn't understand his situation. He couldn't trust them to believe him that it was an accident. He had been lucky before when dealing with them, but he didn't see that luck reaching farther.

Inner Turmoil
Arthur’s breath hitched as he glanced down, noticing Lash curled up against his shoulder, her soft fur pressing gently against him. She looked peaceful, completely unaware of the tension that had jolted him awake. He let out a long, slow breath, trying to calm himself. The dream—or was it a memory?—still clung to him. And then, like a punch to the gut, the realization hit him: the woman in his dream, the one with the cold stare and the pistol—it was her. The woman with pink hair. A woman from his past, someone he thought he'd left behind for good.

He shifted in his seat, his mind spiraling back through the years. Pretty Marie Estoc, he was absolutely head over heels for her, he would of followed her anywhere, and he did. She had been dangerous, unpredictable, and he had made sure she ended up behind bars in the end. But seeing her in his dream now stirred a deep sense of regret in him. It wasn’t just about her—it was about all the mistakes he’d made, all the things he wished he could have done differently. If he’d been a better person back then, if he’d listened to reason instead of letting his heart lead him into so many mistakes, maybe things wouldn’t have fallen apart the way they had.

Arthur’s jaw tightened as he stared out the window. He wouldn’t be on this journey now, chasing after some desperate hope of redemption. If only he’d been smarter, if only he’d thought with his brain instead of letting his emotions cloud his judgment. He’d lost too much because of that—people he cared about, opportunities to make things right. Now all that was left was this long road ahead, with Lash at his side, trusting him in a way he still wasn’t sure he deserved.

He glanced down at her again, her face calm, at peace. The other night's memory still lingered on his mind, should he have made a pass at her? No, it definitely wasn't right for him to take advantage of her like that, she needed him to help her home, it wasn't right to put her into that situation. But even more did he have any right to be attracted to her? After everything he'd done?

As much as he wished to change the past for the good and the bad, he couldn’t. But maybe—just maybe—he could do better this time.

Off Hunting... For A Supermarket
As the bus rolled to a stop in Coumarine City, Arthur stretched, shaking off the stiffness from the long journey. Lash, however, hopped up the moment the doors opened, her sharp eyes scanning the unfamiliar streets. The sea breeze carried the scent of saltwater and fresh greenery, but all she seemed to care about was the loud grumbling from her stomach.

“I’m starving,” she said, rubbing her belly. “I’ll go hunt something real quick. Maybe a Pidgey or—oh! One of those fluffy rat things...Furfrou?” Her eyes gleamed with anticipation. “We don’t have a kitchen anymore, so this is how humans get their food, right?”

Arthur gave a small chuckle, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "You don’t have to hunt, Lash. We’ll just get something at the grocery store before we get to the hotel."

Lash stopped in her tracks, blinking up at him. "Grocery… store?" She tilted her head, clearly confused. “What’s that? Is it where humans trap their food?”

Arthur stifled another laugh. “Sort of. It’s where humans go to get food that’s already prepared—well, mostly. No hunting involved. We just walk in, pick what we want, and leave.”

Lash stared at him, her face a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "What... you don’t chase it? You just... pick it up?"

“Exactly,” Arthur said, pointing down the street toward a bright store sign with colorful displays of fruits and vegetables in the windows. "It’s way easier than hunting. Come on, I’ll show you."

Still looking skeptical, Lash fell in beside him as they walked toward the store. "Alright," she muttered. "But if this doesn’t work out, I’m finding myself a Pidgey."

All of this? This is ALL FOOD?
Arthur led Lash into the grocery store, and the moment they stepped inside, her eyes went wide with wonder. Even though she knew what humans ate, seeing all the food stacked so neatly in rows was something else. Aisles stretched endlessly, filled with colors, smells, and shiny packages, all begging for her attention.

“Whoa…” Lash muttered, her head darting in every direction. “This place is huge.”

Arthur smiled, amused at her reaction. “Yeah, it’s got a little bit of everything.”

But before he could say anything more, Lash darted off down one of the aisles, too curious to resist. Arthur sighed, turning to grab a few essentials. A minute later, she came bursting back out, arms overflowing with a mismatched assortment of food.

“I want to try these!” she declared, her voice full of excitement.

In one hand, she held a jar of pickles, in the other, a box of brightly colored cereal. Balanced on top of the cereal was a loaf of bread, while a bag of chips dangled from her wrist. Somehow, she’d even managed to grab a carton of eggs, though it looked dangerously close to slipping from her grasp.

Arthur raised an eyebrow, trying not to laugh. “Pickles, cereal, and eggs? You’ve got an interesting taste.”

Lash grinned, completely unbothered by the randomness of her choices. “I just grabbed what looked good. Humans really eat all this, huh?”

Arthur shook his head, chuckling. “Let’s get a basket before you drop all of that.”

Shortcut Through The Distorted World
The priestess starts to dance, waving her arms in a manner that seemed random but those that watched knew every sway of her arms was calculated. As she moved the world around her started to warp into itself, as if it was water spiraling down a drain.

One Way Trip
<The Priestess Mightyena opens a portal behind her>
<She looks back at the three Mightyena that have come to her for aid>
<She holds up 1 finger to the group signaling only one can pass through>

Waiting For Arthur Outside
After checking out of the grocery store, Arthur was busy bagging their purchases, making sure everything fit neatly into their bags. Lash, on the other hand, had grown impatient. Her curiosity and excitement couldn’t be contained, and as soon as they were done at the register, she grabbed her bundle of random foods and walked outside ahead of him.

Standing on the sidewalk, she looked up at the night sky, her sharp eyes tracing the stars as they twinkled against the dark velvet backdrop. The cool night breeze tugged at her fur, calming her restless energy just a little. As she took in the peaceful scene, a sudden glint of light caught her attention from the corner of her eye.

She turned her head, her gaze narrowing as she focused on the source of the light. Something shiny reflected from the shadows near the side of the store. It was faint, almost like a flash, but enough to pique her curiosity.

Mightyena used Teleport
As the largest of the Mightyena steps forward to journey through the portal the female leaps forward headlong into the unknown. She looks back at the angry male as she drifts through the tunnel of swirling and splintering energy. He slowly changes his snarling frown into a pleading look of acceptance and concern. She smiles, nods and looks back forward towards the swirling magic.

Distortion
A scent caught her nose as she exited the store. It struck her for a moment, it was out of place. To piece the smell with a person, she knew she knew this scent, a hint of fish with a watery fur aroma, it couldn't be who she thought it was could it?.

New Arrival
Cast emerged, her form slipping through the glowing rift in the air. She landed on the concrete with a soft thud, her claws hitting the ground solidly. The portal closed behind her with a final flicker, leaving nothing but the quiet night around her.

Cast straightened up, her sharp gaze scanning her surroundings. The world was still, illuminated by faint streetlights and the distant glow of the city skyline. She could feel the coolness of the concrete beneath her feet, so different from the worlds she had traversed before. The air smelled of damp stone and faintly of gasoline—so foreign, yet strangely familiar.

She took a deep breath, steadying herself. Whatever this place was, she knew she had to adapt quickly. Her eyes narrowed, assessing, calculating. This was no place for hesitation. A scent she knew hit her nose and she turned.

The Curtain Draws
A gasp escapes her lips, inaudible in the still night, as her eyes widen. The woman in yellow, standing at the edge of the parking lot, is equally frozen for a moment. Her journey has been the longest she'd ever been away from her friend and the sight before her is almost too much to believe. Tears glisten in her eyes, but she doesn't let them fall. Instead, she looks on, a mixture of disbelief and hope displayed on her face.

And Time Stands Still
Lash mirrors her expression, her lips trembling as she tries to comprehend the reality of the situation. Lash drops the groceries, her stomach no longer a concern. They begin to move towards each other, slowly at first, then faster, until they are running. When they finally meet, they collide into a tight embrace, their arms wrapped around each other as if they would never let go. Their bodies shake with the silent sobs of relief and happiness, heads buried into each other's shoulders.

Cast pulls back slightly, just enough to look into the Lash's eyes. She gently brushes a strand of hair from her friend's face, her hand lingering for a moment on her cheek, as if reassuring herself that this is real. Lash closes her eyes briefly, leaning into the touch, then opens them again, a tear finally escaping and rolling down her cheek. They smile at each other, a shared understanding passing between them, before hugging once more.

I Thought You Were Lost...
"Lash, you're alive, you're okay!" exclaimed the huntress, holding onto her friend as though she was about to disappear. "Cast!" whispered the startled mightyena. "How?" Lash was able to choke out as she supressed the tears filling her eyes.

Oh Fuck... There's Two of Them Now!
Was that a fucking portal?

Asked Arthur, trying his best not to drop the groceries.

LOL... He's In Danger
"Koluata Tie?" Who's this one? Cast asks.

That's Arthur, he was the one that brought me here.

Cast's eyes narrow and she snarls.

Kidnapper!
Cast felt the rage and anger swell within her. This was the creature that had taken her friend, the one responsible. Was it keeping her as a pet, did it intend to let her go? No time to think - acting now while it's defense is down would the most direct way to solve the problem. It had to pay; it had to die.

Cast! Wait Don't!
It took a moment for Lash to understand her friend's stare, just a few seconds to put together what she intended to do. As Lash's arms went to grab her friend Cast leaped forward.

"NO!" Lash thought to herself! "WAIT!"

Cast Charges
Cast launches herself at Arthur

Cast Kick
As Cast rushed in with a feint backhand she jumped into the air, a blur of black fur in the night - stretching out her muscular legs to deliver a devastating kick. She grinned knowing she would be setting her friend free from the creature that had enslaved her.

Mightyena used Jump Kick
Arthur's mind went blank, and he instinctively reverted to an old version of himself, one he hadn’t needed in years. A flash of fear reignited a discipline that had been drilled into him long ago. Before he could even process it, his arms took up a fighter's stance—a stance he had once practiced with no intention of doing good. The wolf girl snarled in anger as her blow missed the mark.

Cast - Surprised - Mid Jump
"HE BLOCKED IT?!" Cast snarled to herself. Her opening attack had never failed before, she'd downed Gyarados with that kick. How could this small creature block it!

He Blocked It?!
Lash, who had been standing nearby, froze in shock. Her green eyes widened as she watched the scene unfold. Arthur? Blocking an attack like that? He’d never shown any hint of being a fighter before. He was always the quiet, practical one—the one who handled things with his mind, not his fists.

Cast recoiled slightly, her gaze narrowing in on Arthur, but Lash couldn’t pull her eyes away from him. For the first time, a strange realization dawned on her. She didn’t know this side of him. She didn’t know him at all.

“Arthur…?” she muttered under her breath, still in disbelief.

He stood there, calm and focused, his eyes locked on Cast. His posture had shifted subtly, more grounded, more aware. For a moment, it was like he wasn’t the Arthur she’d spent so much time with—the quiet, practical human who she thought was incapable of a physical fight.

Something deeper was at play here, and it was something she hadn’t seen before.

Eyes That Know Death
For the brief moment that Cast lingered in the air she could feel something emanate from the man on the ground. A feeling that he wasn't someone who had ever taken a life, but something else in him knew how to, and this brief instance of fear made her feel more irritated than when she first laid eyes on him.

He's Not Our Enemy!
"Vortuata Lashza! He deserves it, Lash!" Cast growled, fists clenched. "Koruga torfacus hin defon, err Hicon You know this is his fault. Let me end this now." Cast says, her eyes turning back to the human. Lash steps in front of Cast, arms out. "Stand down, Cast. That’s an order from your chief."

"Korugen jik Kozur! You'd defend this monster! You want me to just walk away from this? Do you know how much I was worried about you?" Cast retorts. The hair on her neck bristling. Lash booms back, her voice low "I’m your chief. I’m telling you to stop!"

Cast trembles with rage, but faulters, "Lashza Lash…" Lash responds with an unyielding glare, "I won’t say it again. You will listen or you’ll face me next." Cast grits her teeth, fists slowly lowering, as she looks at the human "Tine Gesh This isn’t over." Lash responds sharply, but softly "It is, for now."

Arthur turns to Lash just realizing something. "Chief?"

Fine
Cast cant shake the uneasy feeling she just got from Arthur but obeys her chief's command.

Pretty Please With Sugar On Top
"Kinos let Jigon, Lashka? After everything, you just tell me to stop?" Cast says defeated. Lash grins "Cast, listen. I can prove I was never in any danger."

"Jot Ken Ut? Errop, Lashka! Prove it? How? He’s dangerous, Lash!" Cast says glaring

Lash smirks, her hands fiddle with the grocery bag Arthur was carrying pulling out small brown object. "The whole thing was a big mistake. And I can prove it with this."

Cast eyes the thing suspiciously, "Vok What... is that?"

Giggling, Lash offers it to Cast "It’s a cinnamon bun, Cast. You’ve never had one."

Cast frowns skeptically "Vok, torganus kali kirnesta? I’ve never even seen anything like it. You expect me to believe that proves he’s harmless?"

Lash nods, holding it out, "Arthur bought these. Would a dangerous man offer peace in the form of pastries?"

Cast hesitant, eyes it closer "Vok? It’s... food?"

"Yeah, and it’s amazing. Just try it." Lash beams back at her friend.

Cast reluctantly takes it, still frowning. "Tergones dis nisssss, kin? If this goes badly, Lash, I'm killing him.... ok?

Cinnamon Roles - Reluctance
Cast put her faith in her chief, closed her eyes, and took a bite of the "most wondrous thing ever" as Lash described it. Hoping that if it was poisonous and this was some kind of trick, that it would at least be a quick and painless death.

Cinnamon Roles - Transcendence
Cast sinks her teeth into the soft fluffy pastry as a sensation rushes through her mouth she's never tasted before. The texture - the flavor - the soft outside, yet tender and slight resistance to her teeth as she chews. If this is what Lash was talking about she needed more. Her distaste for the human could wait, this place might have something to offer after all.

Lash grins "Told You!"

Peace Offering
Cast stares wide-eyed, savoring the bite "Wait... this is... incredible. Do you have more of these?"

Lash laughs softly "Told you you'd like it."

Arthur steps forward stepping forward cautiously "There's a café just up the road. I can get her more if you want.

Cast glares at Arthur, still chewing "Vok Jik? What did he say?"

"He wants to know if you would like him to get you more" Lash responds

"Jik Nala Kun Ras Higen Yes... And he better be telling the truth." Cast growls back to Lash.

Lash smilies, nudging Cast "He’s harmless, Cast. And apparently has great taste in pastries."

Cast reluctantly nods, "Olet Fine... " Cast takes another bite, her anger momentarily forgotten

Arthur nods nervously, "I’ll bring back as many as she wants."

We better just all go there then, Cast never gets full." Lash says back playfully as she rubs Cast's belly.

"Vok Jik Lashka! HEY, what did you just tell him!" Cast roared
