This one gave me two things to play with. The first was how can I mess with the design without it losing its original feel. The second was how few gender signs can I place on it before it slips completely into androgyny. Took a bit of tweaking before I hit something I liked but I think I pulled it off.
Dropped in the “halo” to fill the space and because of the whole heavy robe Tonberrys wear. It (and oddly the lantern) always kinda’ registered as monastic in my mind. So, I leaned more toward something simple that would help the pic and evoke that “religious imagery”-feel without going nuts with stained glass or the classical rays of light.
