Page 2 ~

Caedyn hears the front door shut as his mom hurriedly leaves with papa and Carsyn to the dinner event.

Leaving his bedroom and nearing the top of the carpeted stairs, he sees the long-haired sitter who Caroline said be watching him, but only from behind.  Mama told him her name in advance... "Aiza" he remembered, though he'd never met her before.  He reflected on the uniqueness and sweet sound of her name.

Starting to head down the stairs, he notices the white-furred blonde still wearing some sort of short-cut sports outfit from school.  From the shape of her ears and tail, he quickly concluded she was either a cat or a closely-related member of the feline races.  A little more fur showing than he expected too, even for a young sitter!

She turns around and they make eye contact, Caedyn still on the stairs, and Aiza below near the front door.  Her rare green eyes, like shining emeralds, take his breath away.

Caedyn's eyes grow wide.  How.... cute she is.  And the age-difference made it all that more intriguing to him.

He lets out a soft "H-Hi Aiza....", stuttering like a goof in shyness.

She waves and winks with a "Hi there Caedyn!"

Forgetting about Mel there for a minute or two, Cae thought he just fell in love there all over again.  Aiza's one good-lookin' catgirl!  White-furred girls always win Cae's heart, he doesn't know why, but that's just how he's wired.

And while Caedyn is very well-behaved and generally keeps quiet and to himself, he silently wondered how Aiza would prove as a sitter tonight.... would she be the easy-going type who lets him be, or would she be checking in on him periodically?  An introvert, he prefers to be left to his own devices.

He wondered that, with the little crush still lingering, even despite she was several years older....
