Red alert!  Existential crisis incoming!

For context, Wac's son Miles can't speak since his vocal chords didn't develop correctly.  It was only after a decade of fatherhood that Wac finally started hearing the word "daddy" from his daughter Melissa, who is now almost six years old.  My, how time flies!

My back still hurts, but I've gotten well enough so I've spent some time on the drawing board.  Now that I've gotten this strip out of my system, I'll finally take a shot at working on a few pages for my comic book project.

I feel this.  While I don't have kids, that just means I've taken on the role of "Funcle" to my sisters' kids.

Really hits me, even after all these years, when they call me "Uncle".  While I'm sure "Dad" hits way different, I'll bet it's still pretty similar being reminded HARD about that oh so special connection to one of these new lives running around our legs.
