Character Description
Chesire is a mischievous Cait Sith, a creature of Scottish folklore resembling a large black cat with a striking white spot on its chest. This fae, whose name derives from the Gaelic words cait (cat) and sìth (fairy), is believed to haunt the misty Scottish Highlands and carries an air of the supernatural. While legends claim that Cait Sith can steal souls before they reach the gods, Chesire has little interest in such grim endeavors—unless someone provokes her wrath. In those rare moments, her vengeful side emerges, reminding others of the darker aspects of her fae nature.
However, what truly defines Chesire is her playful spirit. She delights in pranks, especially on humans, weaving trickery and mischief into her daily life. While other Cait Sith may be feared for their soul-thieving tendencies or witch-like transformations, Chesire focuses more on the fun and frivolity of her otherworldly existence. Humans may find themselves the unsuspecting targets of her whimsical games, but for those who leave out offerings of fish, perhaps they'll receive her blessing instead of her trickery.
