The Sanrio Hello Kitty Kuromi is an extremely popular character to the point where she has quite a lot of merch and fanart of her all over everywhere.
Kuromi went to My Melody's bedroom and wanted to show Melody her unique, more anthropomorphic taller form. She shrunk her down for the heck of it to really show her dominance over the air-headed MM. Melody looks up in fear cause she knows she's about to go through another one of Kuromi's weird shenanigans.
