POLICE REPORT 20XX, COEUS SOFTWARE. Los Gatos, CA.

DETAIL OF EVENT:
At Approximately 2:37 AM, A silent alarm was tripped by an intruder on the COEUS SOFTWARE main campus. The campus is private property whose security is managed by Spearpoint Sercurity Solutions.  Let it be known private security is armed (whoever lets these PMCs get to run around with military grade firepower needs to get their act together, I could have sworn I saw a tank in the motor pool).

No Employees, Researchers, or even Security Staff were harmed. In fact, no one apparently even noticed anything had been amiss until the silent alarm was tripped.

A small USB drive was found installed into the main security room, looping footage of the main Server room was uploaded on the primary security.

Recovered footage shows a brief clip of a server rack camera (likely one that was not on records) showing A Spearpoint guard suddenly flickering into a researcher as it downloaded assets onto a portable storage unit.  We're chalking it up to a glitch in the system to occlude the identity of the thief.

We've requested COEUS detail what was stolen, but they claim the materials are highly classified and they will not divulge beyond that.

ACTIONS TAKEN:
The theft has been logged and the responsibility for the investigation has been relinquished to Spearpoint Security. We have an arrangement that they will handle their own affairs in regards to the stolen property. (Don't forget we're aiming for that slushie machine in the LGPD break room next quarter, Jeff. Same amount of donation would be fine.)

COEUS INCIDENT REPORT TT-C0 PROJECT MENDULLA STOLEN:

At 2:33 AM, PROJECT MENDULLA was disconnected from the server farm and uploaded into a 60 TB portable drive that temporarily interfaced with the RAID network. The Silent Alarm tripped when MENDULLA failed a proxy ping. PROJECT MENDULLA is a self replicating Artificial Intelligence devised as a joint operation between DARPA and COEUS for the explicit purpose of quantum processing mutliple military operations simultaneously, paired with sentient accountability. The notion was to ensure all decisions were adapted based on the intentions of a primary administrator registered via deep tissue brainwave pattern scan. The Artificial Intelligence would then operate based on the best wishes for the Administrator's objectives. Whether it be administrative duties, unit deployment, or budgetary oversight and analysis. MENDULLA was in Beta testing. Version 0.976. Backups are not possible due to the delicate nature of the Quantum Processing Algorithm.

INVENTORY OF ITEMS STOLEN:
1. 57.5 Terabytes of the MENDULLA PROGRAM.  Valued 1.5 Billion Dollars
2. One Quantum Tunneling Processor, Approximately 3.5 mm in size.  Valued 653 million dollars
3. Four 8070 GPU, Approximate Market Value: 600,000

Thief reportedly installed a worm into the Security system and fed looping footage. It is also suspected based on the footage the thief was using a Mortimer Suit. A theoretical stealth suit meant for obfuscation and infiltration. but the holographic systems are far more sophisticated than anything DARPA has claimed to have been developing. We suspect that piece of technology might also be stolen.

It is this researcher's humble opinion that COEUS implore the government to launch a full scale investigation regarding the nature of this theft. MENDULLA has the calculating capacity to give whatever country that has acquired it SIGNIFICANT advantages in nearly every category it applies to.

INTERNAL CORRESPONDANCE, SPLINE -> DARKWITT 6775

S You owe me for this. COEUS has been pissed for years for losing that contract.

▼ I appreciate it. I Figured you'd eventually ascertain I acquired Code a few years  back. Since I'll be working with the Facilitators. I'm owed a few benefits.

S I don't think Qualm meant government coverups, we're not the illuminati. >.>#

▼ you have. Zero evidence. to affirm that claim.

S Just don't make a habit of this. We didn't recruit you to pick up after your messes.

▼ Perish the thought. and here I thought I was afforded this illustrious position to keep tabs on me.

S Trust me, you'd rather be on Hanover's good side.

▼ Hanover?

S The Military guy. By the way, I catch poaching from one of my R&D sites, and he'll be the first to know about this little outing of yours.

▼ Duly noted. Code's become a valuable part of my operations. I can get data processed from my information network faster than anyone else.

S Code?

▼ That's her name now.

S you anthropomorphized her?

Of course. allowing her a little autonomy while operating the Drones is an essential part to cultivate empathic connections as well as maintain its homeostasis with my brain pattern.

S So you made her, what, a holographic girlfriend?

▼ Don't be absurd.

S ...

▼ ...

She's cute as a Serval.

S FUCKIN-

▼Makes her more engaging to talk to.

S LIKE YOUR TITTY DOG THAT RUNS SECURITY.

▼ Rude.

Meet Code. The Center of Darkwitt's operations. Thanks to Code's efforts, the engineers have a deep processing at their disposal, Darkwitt's information network is one of the best in the field, and the Pods of orca drones are maintained in an efficient manner. She is quite cheerful, polite, and linked to the intentions and objectives of Darkwitt's brain pattern. Every drone connected to her voice, every member of Darkwitt's organization in regular contact with her.

Darkwitt's made sure she is airgapped from the rest of the world, any access to the internet is done through observational platforms (SEE DOSSIER- ZYLA)
