Character Description

Comet is a well-known model, specializing in showcasing lower-body wear like pants, shorts, and skirts. Despite her seemingly frail and girly appearance, Comet is a top-tier Pokémon battler. She tends to hide her face during battles, maintaining a double life as a model by day and an underground fighter by night. However, her biggest secret isn't her dual roles—it's the fact that, for a large portion of her life, she was a non-sentient Pokémon

Background/History

Origin and Wish - Part 1: Comet’s journey began as a regular Eevee in the wilds of Kanto, captured just outside Celadon City. She was her trainer’s second Pokémon, and the two formed a fast and strong bond. When she reached level 30, her trainer gave her the choice of evolution stones. Drawn to the Thunder Stone, Eevee evolved into Jolteon and earned the nickname "Jolty." While simple, the name suited her, and she responded to it with excitement. Jolty became a resilient and speedy companion, often treated as a partner rather than just a Pokémon. Rarely confined to her Pokéball, Jolty and her trainer were inseparable.

Origin and Wish - Part 2: For over a decade, the pair traveled across the Pokémon world, battling Pokémon. Jolty became a formidable fighter, helping her trainer win badges and overcome countless challenges. Their bond only grew stronger, with Jolty often staying outside her Pokéball unless it was absolutely necessary. Eventually, her trainer retired from battling to pursue a career as an explorer, focusing on Kanto's Safari Zone. The duo’s strength and experience earned them the trust needed for such dangerous expeditions, where they were joined by the trainer's team, including a powerful Goodra named Laurel.

Origin and Wish - Part 3: Though the trainer cherished his bond with Jolty, he often wished he could understand her better—like he could with a Sentient. He never voiced this wish, keeping it buried in his heart. During one of their Deep Zone expeditions, the trainer befriended a Sentient Mightyena woman living near the Hybrid tribes. Over six months, they grew close, and she often accompanied him on his trips. One night, while camped near a stream, a massive red Gyarados attacked. Jolty and the Mightyena Hybrid fought fiercely, defeating the beast. That evening, as they celebrated with a hearty meal and some rum, Jolty happily rested in her Pokéball while her trainer and the Mightyena shared stories late into the night.

Origin and Wish - Part 4: Drunk and exhausted, the trainer absentmindedly muttered a wish: “I wish I could understand my Pokémon like I understand you… and it wouldn’t hurt if they were sexy and sentient as well.” Though the words were a drunken ramble with no real intent, fate intervened. Overhead, a Jirachi happened to be flying by. Sensing the trainer’s deep bond and admiration for his Pokémon, the Jirachi granted the wish, unaware of its unintended consequences.

Sentient Power - Part 1: The next morning, Jolty’s Pokéball began to shake violently. Emerging from it, she had transformed into a stunning Sentient Jolteon with multicolored, spotted fur and a humanoid body. Overjoyed yet shocked by her transformation, Jolty quickly adapted to her new form. Her feelings for her trainer, once platonic, deepened into love, leading her to confess her adoration. Despite initial concerns that her new hormones influenced her feelings, the two eventually entered a romantic relationship.

Sentient Power - Part 2: The trainer nicknamed her "Shooting Star," inspired by her radiant form. However, Jolty wanted a name that felt more her own, and together they decided on "Comet." With her new identity, Comet embraced her life as a Sentient, battling and exploring with her trainer. By the end of their expedition, she had already mastered her new abilities and adjusted to her form.

Sentient Power - Part 3: Back in civilization, Comet discovered a love for modeling. Her energetic personality and cute appearance made her a natural fit for brands like GIP and Forever 22. At the same time, her passion for battling continued, and she quickly rose through the competitive ranks. To protect her modeling career and keep her transformation a secret, she began wearing disguises during battles, ensuring her reputation as a fierce fighter remained separate from her public persona.

Relatives/Family

Sentient Power - Part 4: While Comet and her trainer grew closer, their relationship remained complicated by the wish. Laurel, the trainer’s Goodra, had also transformed into a Hybrid the day after Comet. Laurel shared a close friendship with Comet and harbored feelings for the trainer, creating a delicate balance among the trio. Out of consideration for Laurel’s emotions, the trainer and Comet postponed marriage, though their bond remained strong.

World/Setting

Note: The Trainer's wish seems to have given Comet an aura she is unaware of. The aura passively changes regular Pokémon she has forged a relationship with into humanoid forms, as the case with Laurel. Although no longer being a normal Pokémon seems to limit her interaction with regular Pokémon as she no longer has a reason to interact with them as much as before, therefore she is unaware of her own power.

Note: Comet and her trainer are unaware of how Comet and Laurel have shifted into a humanoid form, though one of their theories is a Jirachi due to it's reality bending wishes. Some other theories include: Unown, Palkia, Hoopa Unbound, and Arceus. The hybrid Mightyena encountered in the safari zone noted that it may be a blessing of Exiseen, though neither Comet or her trainer believe in the Mightyena religions.

Sentient Power - Part 5: Comet’s playful personality and quick wit earned her many friends and admirers. Known for her love of puns and dad jokes, her laugh was infectious, making her a delight to those around her. Despite her silliness, Comet was a determined and skilled battler, proving herself both in the arena and on the runway.
