Fiachra inherited her musical talent, and her first flute, from her mother. Her earliest memories were of Bébinn playing softly as she drifted off to sleep. All through her childhood, whenever Fiachra was afraid or upset, Bébinn would play the songs that she had learned from her mother, or sometimes little snatches of the songs she'd written herself, until Fiachra didn't find the world so frightening anymore. Bébinn has been gone for nearly twenty years now, but Fiachra still remembers her and she still plays her mother's old songs whenever she needs a little extra help to make it through another day.
