Character Description
Fiachra was born male, and she spent the first twenty-five years of her life as a buck, though she never quite felt comfortable with her old self. She was transformed into a female by the magic in the locket she wears, and she has elected to stay that way as she prefers her new self over the old. She is capable of switching between male and female at will, though she is somewhat reluctant to abandon what she feels is her rightful self.
Personality
Fiachra is unusually bold and adventurous for a rabbit. She is very curious about the world around her, and she is always eager to learn new things. She has a tendency to play the big sister to her friends or anyone she feels would benefit from her advice, and she can be a little bit overbearing at times, though she means well.
Background/History
Fiachra and her younger half-sister Niamh were orphaned at a young age when their mother was murdered. The two grew up in the care of their maternal grandmother, but they were often left by themselves, so Fiachra spent most of her childhood looking after her sister. Her early life was mostly quiet and uneventful, until she and Niamh befriended a young vixen named Ciara. Ciara was an exile from the fox kingdom to the south and she introduced a great deal of excitement into her new friends' lives. Fiachra has followed her all across their island home to stop two wars and to try to bring some kind of peace and order to the place.
Fiachra is the closest thing that the city-state of Oseille has to a hereditary ruler. Her role is mostly ceremonial, as the city is run by a democratically elected council, but she still considers the city and its people her responsibility. As such, she is very protective of her fellow rabbits and she has put her life on the line several times to help protect them.

World/Setting
Fiachra lives on the island of Viridis, in the rabbit-controlled city-state of Oseille. The island has a more or less medieval culture, and is divided between the fox kingdom in the south, the northern lynxes, and the rabbits in the middle. It is an anarchic country where war between the various factions is common, though the last decade has been rather peaceful.
Body
Fiachra is a slender, athletically-built rabbit doe with soft brown fur and bright green eyes. She is a Cottontail/English Spot hybrid, though the only evidence of her hybrid nature is the pattern of spots that decorate her flanks. She has long, black hair with hot pink highlights, which she is very proud of.
Clothing
She generally wears tanktops or t-shirts with trousers or shorts. She doesn't particularly care about fashion, though, and she just wears what's comfortable.
Accessories
She wears a golden heart-shaped locket which she will never willingly take off.
