Alice is a variant of Cream from a version of Mobius called Mobius 95, which is a world where Sonic characters are turned into DC characters and in which Cream is turned into a version of Red Hood, and this version of Cream has lost her childhood when Eggman attacked her town, killing her father and making her think her mom was also dead, when in reality Vanilla became crazy after thinking she lost her family and became the Mad Hatter. So Alice laments the loss of her innocence and is kinda envious that Cream can still live it.
