"What's this?" Cody asked, inspecting a card.
"Oh, hm, I bought it for Valentine's Day" Lucas answered.
"Aw, you're as lovely as you're fucking corny" Mason said, kissing Lucas in the cheek.
Cody joined them in bed, kissing Lucas too.
"So what are we going to do today?" he asked.
"W-well, I was thinking maybe a picnic-"
"A picnic, really?" Mason asked, in a semi-sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, to help get our minds out of the mission..."
"'The mission', uh?" it was Cody's turn to tease, "Well it's an idea as good as any. As long as it's during daylight hours, I'm not much of a camping guy myself."
"Me neither" Mason added.
"Don't worry, I picked the perfect spot."

And, indeed, it was pretty perfect: a small clearing overseeing a waterfall.
"How did you find this place?" Cody asked.
"You know, just scouting round the perimeter, happened upon it."
"Like I said, I'm not much of an outdoors man, so good on your for finding this" Mason said.
Mason kissed Lucas on the lips, touching the dog's face softly. Cody went to the bag they brought: nothing too extravagant, just some ice cream packs. Cody took a strawberry one, and pondered as he licked it.
"Would be awesome if there were cherry petals like in anime."
"Yeah, it would" Lucas concurred.
"Cor. Ny. You guys are capital C corny!" Mason said, "but yeah, it'd look great."
So the three of them stood in that clearing, imagining pink petals.
