They also sit on the ruling council of the Wolf Alliance alongside their parents. They have both been friends since early childhood and are very close. Since they have numerous responsibilities, they don’t have as much time to spend together as when they were children. So, when they are together, they make the most of their time together.
Ti’maar is wearing several layers of traditional wrap-around loincloth and a bevaal open tunic. At his hip he wears a dagger, his long kukri sword, and scrolls. Besides that, he wears numerous accessories including an anklet charm made by Khay, an armband, bead necklaces, jewelry, a citizen-identifying cylinder seal, and a decorative cord collar that Areco gifted him when they were younger. He is barefoot as most bevaal are when not traveling. Areco is wearing an ornate gorget with pauldrons covered in bevaal script and gemstones, layers of bevaal loincloths, a bevaal skirt, and a bevaal open tunic. All his clothing is very expensive and shows his high status as one of the highest ranking bevaal. He also wears a dagger and a sword at his hip along with extensive jewelry. As Ti’maar, he is also barefoot as is common.

Some simple comfort zone character art with my two characters Ti’maar the cheetah and Areco the wolf. Reuniting yet again after not seeing each other for an extended amount of time ^^ Needed something easy to help get the rust off haha
This is kind of the culmination of process experimentation I’ve been doing off and on the last few months. Simplified shading, consistent line art process, introduction of more texture, and less overall finicking around with things. Basically, a more standardized process to make things more efficient and readable. I’m really happy with how things are coming together ^^
Also this is the first finished drawing I’ve done using Clip Studio Paint’s 3D reference features. (I know I’d be better off learning blender, but it being built right into CSP with control designs I’m familiar with has made it much easier to use.) There have been many additions to 3D features in v2.0 and v3.0, so I checked it out and fell in love with it lol. I’ve always struggled to find decent references for poses and often photograph my own, but using the built in 3D features gets me like 90% of the way to a good reference. Of course, that’s just for the pose and simple props. I’ve been trying to be better about using reference for other aspects such as faces and anatomy details, and it really helped here too. Anyways I found it far more enjoyable to draw this when I had first put in the effort to set up the scene in 3D first. Looking forward to trying it out for more complex scenes and poses!
Going to be doing some finished sketches next, still trying to figure out a style I like haha. End goal is something fast that stands on its own, yet can be come back to later to be inked and colored in this style -----

the pose is very close to statuary, and they seems to be ready to declare something to eachother.. nah,.. who am i kidding? they've already done that long ago... <3
