Well I've recently been a on a bit of an Avatar the Last Airbender kick so of course this lead to a fan character. ^^
Shen Yun smiled as he trained using his Earthbending skills. His father was an Earthbender while his mother was a non bender. His father had always been patient in teaching his son what he knew and encouraged his son to learn some aspects on his own and to be creative. Shen for his part was clever and took to Earthbending easily. He was quickly mastering the basics and was already starting to tinker with some of the more difficult stuff such as metal bending which had been pioneered a few generations ago during the last days of the Fire Nation War. It was a few generations later and the current avatar much to Shen's pride was an Earthbender to start with. Shen hoped to get to meet him. This was in part why he was doing some extra training. He was the the Bender sparring league junior division. The prize for this team winning the championship was a scholarship and a day spent with the Avatar. Shen hoped they'd win. At the same time he was a little nervous about what he'd do if they did win. Shen had been incontinent since he was 6 due to a bad infection which did some muscle and nerve damage. It took a bit for him to get over the taunts and teases. Thankfully none of that was coming from his two team mates. They after a short period of teasing accepted it and have been staunch defenders for him. Shen too a deep breath as he sent a wall of earth flying with a smile. His friends would help him keep this low key and he kept reassuring himself that this was the Avatar. A Man who had to keep the peace between the nations. He should be less worried.
