Ho-ho-ho! Happy New Year 2025 to everyone! Well, it's definitely here now, since I'm 15 days late with my drawing :Р Yeah, I've really gotten lazy with drawing... Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you beetroot syrup in your pancake hats and fresh Frugokryak on your table, etc.
It's a pretty cute show with an ECOLOGICAL message to save nature, which introduced young viewers to different types of animals in an entertaining way. The trio of main characters - panda Sio-Lee, red panda Bamboo-Lee and bamboo rat Dah-Lin - traveled around the world, protecting rare species from the greedy corporation RatCo.
This cartoon aired from 1995 to 1996, and since then there have been no reruns. Because - come on! - it's an eco-cartoon made by the World Wildlife Fund. It's impossible to imagine a show more random and doomed to sink into oblivion. Environmental protection is of little interest to the masses... This show is so obscure that I'm sure it's safe to pirate it - NO ONE GIVES A DAMN. Although this cartoon has a YouTube channel where ALL the episodes are posted. Maybe it's official, maybe not... Who knows. https://www.youtube.com/@bamboobears533
So I made a comic where two dumb blockheads, who works for an hour payment at RatCo, go to cut down a blue spruce for the corporate party. But the brave and nasturtious Dah-Lin stands in their way... It didn't end well. And all because there is NO NEED TO PROTECT RIGHT-WING BIRDS! :D
