Being forced into participating a Battle Royale, Milo was struggling to survive since he isn't much of a fighter, but only managed to be alive this far with the help of his Arcanine friend since all contestants are competing in pair. However, while travelling the forest while laying low and hoping to find a safe spot, he lost track of his partner after failing to pay attention of a few minutes.
"Ryan!", said the Lucario, while keeping his voice low. "Where are you?"
He scanned the area and couldn't find him. Considering he was behind him 5 minutes ago, there's no way he could have lost track of him. As he was starting to panic, he noticed something among the branches in a tree nearby. It seems to large to be a mere critter.
"R-Ryan?", said Milo with a nervous tone.
A Charizard jumped down from the tree and quickly made his move to attack him.
"Wrong!", said the Charizard. "It's your doom!"
The Lucario, surprised by the attack, managed to deliver some blows and dodge some attacks, but he soon realized he's against someone who have much more combat experience than him. Eventually, the Charizard managed to grab him and put into a chokehold.
"Ryan! Help me!", said the Lucario, while gasping for air.
Unfortunately for him, his friend never came to rescue him. Shortly afterward, he longer had any strength left to fight back. After realising the Lucario fell unconscious, he released his grip to ensure he doesn't die... yet.
"You're not going to get off that easily!", said the Charizard with a smile. "We're going to have some fun!"
Knowing the coast is clear, he then carried the body to a hidden shelter nearby, where he dropped an unconscious Arcanine he defeated very recently.
