Character Sheet for Nasir
Species
Wizzrobe (Says he's a toucan)
Character Description
A Wind Waker-styled "Great Sea" wizzrobe, not hostile unlike the others. Because of the reputation his kind has, and not even liking them that much himself, he tries to hide that he is one. He doesn't wear robes, and if anyone asks what he is, he says he's a toucan unless he trusts that whoever he's talking to won't be scared.
He's of course capable of magic, and is talented with water magic in particular, but he can use most other kinds decently well. A large portion of his magic ability comes from his wand, the Wand of the Tides.
Personality
Uncommonly friendly for a wizzrobe, Nasir has no interest in harming anyone outside of self-defense.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Discussing magic, exploring, the ocean
Favorite color: Green
Dislikes: Other Great Sea wizzrobes, people who dislike magic, thunder
Background/History
Nasir used to be part of a cult of other wizzrobes in a temple deep in Gale Isle. He was ridiculed for putting far less focus on learning combat magic than the others did, and he endured it for a while since he didn't want to give up his home. Eventually though, he had enough, and snuck out one night. Getting passage on a ship by trading away his original wand, he left the island behind, and hasn't gone back since. He's never regretted it.
Body
Nasir is a typical Great Sea wizzrobe, with dark greyish-green feathers, blueish-grey talons, and a toucan-like beak with a swirl design near its end.
Clothing
Typically doesn't wear anything, but he enjoys Japanese-style swimsuits. He still has his typical robe, but only rarely wears it, disliking the memories it brings back.
Accessories
Some time after leaving home, Nasir discovered the Wand of the Tides in a coral reef. It's about a foot long, light blue all over, with a conical shape and darker blue spirals past its handle. It allows him to hold his breath much longer and speak clearly underwater, while also enhancing his water magic. Being a wand, it also aids in using magic in general. When he first touched it, it bound itself to his soul, making him the only one that can use it unless he gives someone else permission. In addition, if he loses the wand (Which he tends to - he's a bit clumsy with it), it manipulates probability to make a series of coincidences bring it back to him (Or it just teleports if there's no other way).
