After that day in the museum, Shadow went for a walk in town.
Shadow: Wow it is such a beautiful day today I wonder what I should do.
Shadow then passed by a poster.
It said: On May 20th Magician Rouge will be doing her magic show.
Shadow: Wow. Real neat. I'd like to see that.
It was May 19th. That meant that the magic show was the next day. Shadow went to the ticket both.
Shadow: One ticket for Rouge's magic show.
Ticket window guy: Here you go
He handed Shadow a ticket and then Shadow paid him.
Next day
Shadow: The show starts at 2:00 and it's 12:00. I'd better be on my way.
At 2:00, Shadow went to the show. He got in the front row. Shadow was really impressed with Rouge's magic. It was close to being time to end the show.
Rouge: For my last magic trick I'll need a volunteer from the audience.
Shadow: Can I go?
Rouge: Sure.
So Shadow got on the stage.
Shadow: So What do I have to do?
Rouge: Get in that box.
Shadow: Okay.
So Shadow got into the box. Rouge closed the box and said her magic words. When she opened the box, Shadow was gone. Then Rouge went over to another box, said her magic words, opened that box, and there was Shadow.
Shadow: Wow. How did you get me from that box to this one?
Rouge: Magic. Thanks for volunteering for my final act.
Shadow: You're welcome. I enjoyed it.
