Team Imposter causes trouble in a nearby city. Dopple comes across a big facility guarded by many guards making him wonder what could be hidden in there. He didn’t care about blending in and taking out many guards. He finds a long stairway down and the lower he went the more colder it got. He then finds a door encased in ice making it stuck. Shift changes into Knuckles and using his strength smashes in the door. Once changing back he hears a feminine voice asking who he was. The gray rabbit then sees a blue sabertooth cat strapped to a large machine and a helmet with something obstructing her eyes to prevent her icy stare. He then goes and tells her that he can free her but she threatens to make him a popsicle if he lies where he retorts calling her frost queen. He breaks her from her metal prison and the sabertooth cat was getting used to her eyes after being covered for so long
After letting out the icy cat girl Shift pulls out a bomb and plants it in the center of the prison before picking her up. He surprises her by changing into the blue blur and dashes out to the entrance. He stops for a moment to grab the unconscious guards and tosses them out before dashing away again with the cat girl. He soon meets up with Surge and Kit where Surge was caught off guard thinking he was Sonic before he changed back with a raised brow on his face. After rescuing the girl he asks about her. She reveals her name to be Kirsi and she was given to be imprisoned as a child for being afraid of her ice powers. He decides to welcome her into their group. She agrees and was liking the name a bit he gave her earlier but turning it around calling herself from now Queen Frost
