“C-can we watch a movie, babysitter?” Teddy eventually asks.
“Of course,” You tell him, as you show some dvd’s. “Any movie you cubs like?”
Teddy quickly pointed towards a scary movie. “Can we watch this one please?”
Ethan quickly shakes his head. “N-no, t-that one’s boring!” He protests.
“Boring or too scary for you?” Teddy taunts in reply.
“Shut up!” Ethan pouts, and turns beet red.
But Teddy just burst into laughter “No way the little fox is scared of a movie, are you going to have an accident?”
“That’s rich coming from you!” Ethan just giggles, his pout disappearing instantly.
Teddy quickly turns beet red. “Well… at least I’m not in diapers!” He tries to argue.
“But you should!” Ethan quickly replies. “You piddled all over the living room earlier.
“It wasn’t so bad!” Teddy responds. “My clothes and toys were dry… m-mostly.”
Ethan laughs in reply, not taking his friend seriously, causing him to pout.
“And even then, that was only one accident,” The still-human werewolf adds. “How many accidents did you have today?”
“Uhhh…” Ethan stammers as he counts on his paws. “What comes after three?”
You quickly tell him that the answer was four, and Teddy laughs harder than either one of them did before, which says a lot.
“Four accidents, no wonder that you’re still in diapers!” He playfully ridicules the fox.
“Well… my mommy said that I have many accidents because my bladder is hurt forever,” The fox explains.
“Incontent?” Teddy asks in reply.
You chuckle and gently correct him. “Incontinent, but close enough.”
“Yeah, that,” Ethan nods. “But what’s your excuse then?”
“I…uhh…” The werewolf starts thinking, but Ethan quickly interrupts him. “Since you’re five, shouldn’t you be fully potty-trained?”
You put your own curiosity aside and decide to intervene before it goes too far. “Come on, we can have this discussion later.”
“Aww…” Ethan pouts and starts whining, while Teddy on the other hand looks relieved.
“How about you two pick out a different movie?” You propose, and this time it is Teddy who is disappointed, though unlike Ethan he remains polite.
You explain further. “Plus this movie is for cubs three times Ethan’s age.”
“S-so seven?” Teddy asks.
“No that’s four plus three, four times three is twelve,” You explain in reply.
The human looks confused, but just nods and says okay.
Ethan quickly looks through all the movies, and points towards a DvD case of the movie Pocoyo. “This one?” He asks, his tail wagging.
“That one’s for little babies,” Teddy argues, before showing another movie. “Can we watch Harry potter please?” He asked, holding the first part of the series.
“No way, that’s way too scary!” Ethan argues back.
“That’s because you’re a little baby!” Teddy replies
“Teddy be nice,” You gently tell him off. “If Ethan finds a movie too scary, we won’t watch it.”
“Sorry, babysitter,” Teddy mumbles, though he still pokes out his tongue towards the fox, who returns the favor
“Just try to pick something you both like,” You sigh but betray your amusement by letting out a chuckle.
“All right, babysitter,” Both cubs nod as they look through the movies
