what some artists do is put their names in the middle of the image or around the edges with their artist handle / links to prevent assholes from claiming art for themselves or not giving credit. in that case if they do reupload it to another site then you have every right to have it removed especially if they dont tag you properly. would be a shame if you stopped the comic cause of that. though this is their intentions and they want you to stop. it wont just stop at your comic. so you should start taking measures to ensure that people dont think your stealing your own art.
