A young girl from a small village, Abigail never had much. The only child to loving parents who did the best they could for their daughter. She has had a happy childhood. Then she discovered she manipulate light on her twelfth birthday. Small things, words forming in her mind she'd never heard before and repeating them in her thoughts would create sheilds of light, near invisible barriers of wind, soothing flows of energy.
It scared her and yet fascinated her at the same time. Magic. She'd heard whispers of it in her village. A power shunned, feared. Misunderstood. Worry formed in her thoughts. How would her parents react if they found out? She didn't them to disown her or be angry for something she couldn't control! She needn't have worried though. Not long after her magic materialized, their village was visited by the tallest mouse she'd ever seen. Clad in a long purple jacket, black shirt, and white pants, black choker adorned with a crescent moon on the side. Work had lead him to the village, but intrigue kept him around.
His name was Atty and, as Abigail would soon learn, he was a mage. A mage like herself, able to use his magic without the need of a foci. A fact that he soon revealed to her parents out of neccessity. She soon found herself under the tall mouse's tutelage with her parents blessing. Both very understanding of her situation.
With her new guardian, she was soon given more modern clothes and fake foci for her protection. A bracelet adorned with a sun. To match Atty's crescent moon choker.
