Believe it or not, some of the Denny's restaurants today look a lot like those of the '50s: chrome sides with colorful trim, multi-colored bench seats, bars with colorful stools, and music playing on a jukebox in the corner. Visiting one of these diner-style restaurants made me think of Clarence Coyote and his accidental trip back to 1960. It reminded me of that restaurant he visited called "The Hop", except it wasn't big enough to have a dance floor. Still, it was a very nice place to visit and dine. The food was very good there, and the music was perfect for the '50s-era decor. I'm sure Clarence would've loved dining there as much as he did The Hop.
