I know, I should've posted last week but I forgor
And now for some sucky news; I'm going to have to put the comic on a hiatus for a couple months. I hate doing that in the middle of a chapter, but I've been struggling to finish pages lately and the backlog is rapidly running thin.
Now, I'm not bailing or cancelling the comic, I have put way too damn much time and effort into this little questionably ethical shitfic of mine, and i have way too much gratitude towards all you degenerates that somehow has enjoyed the read so far <3
This has just been one of the most stressful years of my life and my mental health has definitely taken a toll, which is not helping the page production.
I don't have a deadline for the comic to pick up again, but i'm aiming for the end of february, and i'll be using the holidays to just strongarm myself into doing nothing but pages for some time lol
I'll give y'all a solid date after the holidays, pinkie promise! I just need time to rebuild the backlog. I'm very sorry for the sudden, unplanned hiatus, folks; i really do appreciate ya and i don't wanna disappoint you ;w;

So; we are forced to wear Harem silks, get raped frequently and can't leave... but besides that we get a free Cruise around the world......thats one way to see it. XD

Take all the time you need. :) the Comic is awesome and the story is catchy but we  can whait. If you feel stressed you need to relax first or drawing becomes nothing but work and not fun.

I think it's more about how someone endures hardships. Like, certain things have myself, and many people I know depressed, worried, scared even. There is a very strong chance that I will watch people I love and care about suffer greatly. Much like the sisters here, most people don't get to choose the world in which they live. We can fight, and work together to make it better, but there's still things outside of our control. Despite all that, I now find myself the most optimistic, and focused I have ever been. There's work to be done, and people to help, and I don't see any reason to post pone my plans. So, I say suffer well my friends. Why have angst? Someone who suffers, suffers. But someone who suffers, and is depressed, suffers twice. It's a lot easier to do the work that needs to be done when you're light  of mind, and you take your victories when you win them, much like the sisters here. Besides, traveling beyond their borders isn't something to be taken lightly. It teaches an empathy and understanding of others, that can then be used to help their own peoples.

yep, time for all the ladies to share their experiences about «leaving the cradle»
(sans the trauma that accompained it, that's implied...)

don't stress also about it!      we perverted degenerates will wait the announce
of the dead rebirthline for the comic and the actual rebirth;
expect to be annoyed as always by our inane blabbering at your return!

As you may already know,
Olscli16
Olscli16
and I have been tossing around a "what if" scenario in the PM about how the course of events would have been if a powerful and mighty kingdom very much like Ancient Rome, the Taruki Kingdom, had intervened to fight Shomari's forces and liberate Shajarat.
I've recently posted to Olscli16 in the PM we have going about the criminal justice system in the Taruki Kingdom.

As prescribed by Chapter XXXVI (36) of the Taruki military code, Articles XXIV (24) through LV (55) and subsections contained therein:
In the Taruki Kingdom, a court martial is judged by a panel five judges who are at the rank of major or above. The panel of five judges decided the verdict and appropriate sentence.
In a high profile trial, there is usually more than one prosecutor not to exceed a team of five...such as in the high profile trial of Centurion Omnibus Jackal's for dereliction of duty, failure to maintain control of his battalion and war crimes against Sha-eelan civilians in rural villages including rape and murder.
Shomari's trial for enemy aggression against the peaceful kingdom of Shajarat, rape and murder would be such a high profile trial...though in his case tried as an international trial.
A defendant may also request more than one defense attorney not to exceed a team of five. A defendant also has the option of hiring their own defense attorney(s) instead of military appointed attorneys.

As for civilian trials that have nothing to do with the military, it is different in which military code does not apply.
In a trial where a Taruki civilian is suspected of a criminal violation, there is one judge and a jury of 18 jurors.  Jurors decide the verdict and the judge decides the sentence.
High profile civilian trials can have more than one prosecutor not to exceed a team of three.
A defendant can opt to have more than one defense attorney not to exceed a team of three.
If a defendant can not afford to hire an attorney, a public defender would be provided.

Under both military and civilian codes; A defendant can not be forced to testify against one's self.  A defendant is presumed not guilty if guilt can not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. In the event of a guilty verdict, the level of sentencing must not exceed what is appropriate for the severity of the crime.

I've been wondering how Shajarat's criminal justice system works...How were court trials conducted in Shajarat back before Shomari showed up, both military court martials and civilian trials?  Were there courts, or did anyone suspected of a crime go before King Matheo?

Something I noticed about the geographical terrain in this story. It's got lots of hills and mountains along with it having large ground crevices. In addition to it having an arid climate.
What inspired me to take closer notice of the terrain features in this story was a YouTube video I watched about countries that are difficult for other countries to invade.  In the video, Afghanistan was on that list due to It's rugged terrain and arid conditions.
I was thinking, Shomari must have wanted Shajarat really bad to have had his forces navigate such hostile terrain in arid conditions...Not to mention bringing two trebuchets, a harem wagon, tents and cases of fire powder with him.
Of course on the flipside, any powerful kingdom embarking on a mission to liberate Shajarat would be challenging the same hostile terrain and arid conditions.
