Starting up my Six Days of Shadow, here is my newest AU, Nocturne!!
For those of you who may have read the story "Mission Alternative," this is the way Shadow dresses after a few years, thanks to his husband Manic's influence. Despite his more effeminate appearance, he's still gruff, tough, and as no-nonsense as ever, though he has opened up a bit more in terms of being romantic or sexual around Manic.
It's thanks to his training that Manic's and Infinite's son, Mirage, is such a good dancer/fighter. His relationship to Manic makes him a sort of 'stepfather' to the hedgejackal.
The jewelry on his feet is a replacement for his air shoes: the myriad of gemstones are pieces of a fake emerald, which create a sort of energy field that he can skate and levitate on when he pushes energy through them. This has allowed him to finally attain a barefoot lifestyle without sacrificing speed.
