Sprunki Babies, Episode 50: "A Sprunki Thanksgiving"
---
Thanksgiving at the Beat Box nursery was in full swing, with everyone busy preparing for the day’s festivities. The long table was covered in autumn decorations—paper turkeys, colorful leaves, and centerpieces handcrafted by the Sprunkis during craft time earlier in the week.
“Alright, Sprunkis,” Ripple announced, standing tall in the center of the room. “Today isn’t just about food. It’s about being thankful for everything and everyone who makes our lives special.”
“And food!” Durple added, peeking toward the kitchen.
“Yes, and food,” Ripple said with a chuckle. “But we also have a lot of friends and family coming to join us today, so let’s make this celebration amazing.”
---
The Guests Arrive
The first to arrive was Oren, his headphones around his neck and his antennae bouncing as he looked around. “This place looks awesome!” he exclaimed, taking in the decorations.
“You haven’t even seen the food yet!” Durple said, patting Oren on the back.
Clukr and Garnold walked in next, Garnold adjusting his visor while Clukr’s cymbal-like high top caught the sunlight streaming through the window. “Looks like someone’s been busy,” Garnold said, admiring the table.
“Just wait until you see what Bianca’s cooking,” Ripple replied, shaking their hands.
Vineria and Raddy were next, with Raddy’s spiky red hair sticking up as usual. “Where’s the action?” Raddy asked, looking around.
“Over there,” Gray said, gesturing to the instruments Clukr and Garnold had brought. “We’re putting on some music later.”

As the nursery filled with chatter and laughter, more Sprunkis arrived. Brud, with his signature bucket on his head, shuffled in quietly, while OWAKCX darted through the door, his lime-green hair bouncing.
“Don’t run, OWAKCX!” Ripple called after him.
“Sorry!” he said, skidding to a stop near the snack table.
Simon and Jevin entered together, Simon’s antennae wiggling as he adjusted his seat at the table. “This place is packed,” Simon remarked, looking around.
“Good,” Jevin said, pulling his hood up. “That’s what makes it fun.”
Tunner followed, his hat shading his face as he waved shyly. “Hey, everyone.”
Finally, Black strode in, his top hat perfectly in place as he surveyed the room. “Quite the gathering,” he said with a small smirk. “Let’s hope the food matches the décor.”
“It will!” Pinki chimed in, waving at him.
Wenda stood nearby, putting the finishing touches on the decorations. “We’re almost ready!” she called out.

Preparations and the Thanksgiving Play
While the Sprunkis mingled, Ripple and Danny helped them prepare a Thanksgiving play. Skye played the explorer, wearing a paper hat and carrying a tiny stick as his “sword.” Wenda and Pinki played kind farmers who shared their harvest, while Gray provided sound effects with his drumsticks.
“I’ll be the dragon who saves the feast!” Durple announced, wrapping a blanket around himself.
“There’s no dragon in Thanksgiving!” Pinki protested.
“There is now!” Durple replied confidently, posing dramatically.
The play was chaotic but heartfelt, with OWAKCX accidentally knocking over a prop and Simon improvising to fix it. By the end, the audience erupted in applause.
“That was... unique,” Black said with a raised eyebrow.
“I thought it was great!” Brud said, clapping enthusiastically.

Dinner Time
Bianca and Lorenzo emerged from the kitchen carrying tray after tray of food. The long table was soon filled with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and Bianca’s famous star-shaped sandwiches.
“Alright, everyone,” Ripple said, standing at the head of the table. “Before we eat, let’s go around and share what we’re thankful for.”
Durple went first. “I’m thankful for treasure—and food!”
“I’m thankful for music!” Gray added, drumming lightly on the table.
“I’m thankful for my toys,” Pinki said with a smile.
“And for everyone here,” Wenda added, looking around the room.
Skye grinned. “I’m thankful for flying and all the adventures we have.”
The other Sprunkis followed, each sharing their own heartfelt thoughts. Simon said he was thankful for his friends, while Jevin gave a quiet nod, adding, “Same.”
Black adjusted his hat. “I suppose I’m thankful for... company. And the turkey.”

The meal was lively, with laughter and chatter filling the room. OWAKCX accidentally dropped his fork, causing a chain reaction that sent a roll flying into Raddy’s lap. “Oops,” OWAKCX said sheepishly.
“Nice aim!” Raddy joked, tossing it back.
Durple piled his plate high with food, while Brud quietly savored each bite. Garnold and Clukr started a soft tune on their instruments, adding a cozy atmosphere to the feast.
Even Mr. Tree joined in, his deep voice rumbling through the room. “Gratitude is the strongest root of all. May this day remind us of the bonds that keep us strong.”
---
Wrapping Up the Evening
As the feast wound down, the Sprunkis gathered for a final moment together. Ripple stood in the center of the room, looking at the happy faces around him.
“This nursery isn’t just a place,” Ripple said. “It’s a home. And that’s because of all of you.”
Danny nodded. “Days like today remind us why we do what we do. We’re lucky to have each other.”
Bianca smiled warmly. “And we’re thankful for every single one of you.”
The Sprunkis and adults raised their glasses of cider in a toast. “To the Beat Box!”

As the lights dimmed and the nursery quieted down, the warmth of Thanksgiving lingered. The Beat Box nursery had always been more than a building—it was a family, filled with love, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness.
