The 20th and final of the GeneX Experiments. Gideon is a being of pure GeneX - or "creation" - energy. It takes a form based on nearby life forms, with the hedgehog form being treated as a default by...well, me. But there really wouldn't be a default.
Since Gideon is essentially an avatar of life itself, it wants life to thrive. In the end, Gideon gave all of its power to Sonic in order to cure all the Lost Ones in the multiverse, restoring countless people back to life. This sacrificed Gideon's body, but its essence lives on in everyone that was saved.
My chibi icon is included for reference, the only drawing I ever made of Gideon.
