I can't recall how many times people have asked if or has suggested that Ari looks like a monstrous turtle from the Super Mario Bros. series, despite her original inspiration and design having nothing to do with that series. Still, it was a fun idea to lean into with this funny thought and come up with this idea that Bowser would fall in love with Ari on sight. Knowing Ari's preferences, Bowser wouldn't be her type. He just can't catch a break, can he?
