Background: Ray Callahan was born In the streets of New York City on Halloween Night. Once he was just an average boy, but then he became something different.
After breaking into Oscorp to investigate his parent’s disappearance, he was kidnapped and used by Norman Osborn and Hydra Scientists for Their Experiments. Ray was injected with Various Serums that were derived from the DNA of Genetically Enhanced Super Spiders and Radioactive Vampire Bats.
The Injections gave Ray Superhuman Abilities and managed to Escape Oscorp. Ray had retreated to a Magic lair hidden beneath Central Park. Ray had Magical Abilities he inherited from his Mother. Ray knew Conjuration Spells, Alchemy and could open a Dimensional Pocket to store objects in.
The Serums gave Ray the Abilities of both a Spider and a Vampire. Like the Hero Spider-Man, Ray could Climb walls and Shoot webs. As a Vampire, Ray had Fangs, Super Strength and Speed, even all his senses were enhanced. Another Abilities Ray Acquired allowed him to Change the color of his Hair and Eyes, able to Fly and transform into either a Spider or Bat.
While Ray was Still able to Consume Human Food, He Found that his Vampire Abilities Required him to Drink Blood. By Drinking Blood, Rays Magical and Superhuman Abilities would be more stronger and Effective.
Ray Decided to use his Abilities to take Revenge on Oscorp and Hydra for what they did to his family. He was a Huge Admirer of Spider-Man, so he made his Own Spider-Man Suit with a Few tweaks of his own and added a Vampire Cape. The eye Lenses were designed to cause hypnosis on his enemies.
Ray would perform his vigilante acts at night. Stealing Money from Gangs, sabotaging Oscorp and Hydra. Ray did his best to avoid the Avengers, but would sometimes run into Spider-Man.
Ray would often Mimic Spider-Man to tease him and on occasions, make an alliance with him to investigate Oscrop or any of Spider-Man’s known enemies.
At his Home, Ray Kept it filled with an Alchemy Lab and a Door that could transport him to locations around the world. He also Kept a Couple of Coffins to sleep in.
Ray customized the Coffins to his liking. One Coffin he outfitted to Trap Spider-Man incase he came Knocking at his Door.
To most People, they Only knew him as Ray Callahan, but everyone knew him as Spider-Bat.
