Danny, noticing Bianca’s interest, stepped in with a friendly but competitive smile. “Bianca and I usually handle snack time together,” he said, his tone lighthearted. “But it’s always nice to have a little extra help.”
Ripple sensed the hint of rivalry and grinned. “Hey, I’m happy to lend a hand—or a fin,” he replied, flashing a playful wink at Bianca.

Throughout the day, Ripple and Danny found themselves in a light-hearted competition for the babies’ and Bianca’s attention. Ripple led a treasure hunt, hiding small, shiny objects around the nursery and encouraging the babies to search for “buried treasures.” The babies loved every moment, squealing with delight each time they uncovered a shiny pebble or shell.
“Look, Ripple! I found one!” Skye exclaimed, proudly holding up his treasure.
Ripple clapped, grinning. “Great job, Skye! You’re a real treasure hunter.”
Not to be outdone, Danny organized an obstacle course, cheering the babies on as they climbed over pillows, crawled under tables, and jumped over stuffed toys.
“You can do it, Pinki!” Danny encouraged, clapping as she leapt over a small toy.
The babies had a blast with both activities, but it was clear they were especially enchanted by Ripple’s ocean-themed games and stories.

As the day wound down, Danny gathered the babies together. “Alright, little ones. Ripple and I have both loved spending the day with you, but if you had to choose, who would you want to keep around more?”

“We want Ripple!” she said excitedly. “We love Danny, but Ripple’s stories and games were so much fun!”

Ripple gave Danny a respectful nod and turned to the babies. “Thank you, everyone! I had an amazing time too, and I’d love to be here as much as I can.”
