► New Song: "The Dark Form Cometh" ► Add it to your collection: https://daymusik.bandcamp.com/track/the-dark-form-cometh A few years ago, I decided to remix a clip of Markiplier from his gameplay of a game called "Nox Timore". Pretty much since I posted the "remastered" version of the original song, "Darkiplier Lurks", I have been trying to build on the idea and create a decent enough video for it, which you can watch here: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
🐾 It's late and I am very tired. It is... *looks at the time*... 1:00 am at the time that I am writing this on the day that this video is going to be released and I am just barely finishing and rendering the video. I'm going to keep this short. According to my Soundcloud page, I uploaded a "remastered" version of the original version of this song, "Darkiplier Lurks" back in 2019. I recall enjoying the original version a lot and dreaded the fact that I couldn't recreate some of the aspects of the original in the remastered version. Pretty much since then, I have been working on this song on and off, mainly trying to get the video the way I envisioned it, but also touching up the audio here and there until it was at a level that I was happy with.
Honestly, it's a good thing I waited 5 years before trying to finish this song because, listening to it back, everything was horrible and I think it was back before I really understood mixing. Whether I have a better grasp of it now or not, that's up to the audio sticklers out there who might happen across this song, but I am happy with how this turned out, especially the "False Hope" section I refer to the second verse as.
The main vocal clip in this video is from Mark's "Nox Timore" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjQdVSRaLzY The second audio clip is from Mark's "A Date With Markiplier" video project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyU_1JD2wuA (I'm not going to tell you from which video this is; I believe I owe it to him to say you will have to find it yourself. Additional information: I included trumpet sounds to reflect Mark's trumpet playing both back in high school — a fellow band member, so I respect that — and I believe his intention to relearn it recently. I included references to Mark's Slenderman days with the static effect as well as his Unus Annus days.
