I uploaded this before, but I wanted to change the pencil ...so here goes!
I offered to draw someone a concept sketch of their character. This drawing (replete with ghost lines and eraser dust) was the consequence.
Most times when I make gift art, someone with a default avatar and a gallery full of AI will ask for a drawing. My preemptive advice is: Don't ask. :3
Almost anyone who asks me for art doesn't truly want any, they simply see me as a bowl of free cheese cubes and want to help themselves (even if they don't like cheese).
Additionally, as the contents of my gallery testifies, I cannot draw. Pressuring me to get your free drawing 'perfect' will not happen, and again, because you don't truly want any art, you're not obliged to be grateful (yes, I've made effort-drawings for people without even a thank-you)
...not that anyone should be grateful for my art, given its dearth of all things quality, but the principle remains: if you can't be bothered to fake gratitude, I can't be bothered to pretend I'm an artist.
TL;DR: I don't do requests; go elsewhere to beg :3
Pencil...
The featured pencil is a 'Star' from Eberhard Faber. This specimen was probably made in the early 1900s (it's over a hundred years old).
The pencil has no ferrule and its core is round.
This particular pencil doesn't belong to me (at least not yet!). It's on loan from my friend John's collection. :3
