Weighing in at a hefty 188 metric tons, the Panzer VIII Maus bears the distinction of being the heaviest fully-enclosed AFV in history. Due to its weight, the Maus was unable to cross rivers via bridges and was instead forced to ford rivers in tandem with a second Maus providing electrical power during the crossing. Only two prototypes (one complete and one hull with a mock-up turret) were completed before the project was cancelled and the survivors captured by advancing Soviet forces. The sole survivor currently resides at the Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia.
(Hello! Simonov here! This is the first in a planned return of an old project (or two, really). “FIREPOWER!” is the successor to the old “Martial Pinups” and “Firepower” series. “FIREPOWER!” is a pinup series featuring anthro pinups combined with various weapons, both military and civilian, from throughout history. Figure that it was only suitable to kick it off with the same piece of military equipment that started the original “Martial Pinups” nearly a decade ago, the Panzer VIII Maus.)
