X-D oh, no! my video game knowledge is almost zero, and now i learned something more! thanks! i was wondering what was that referencing, and without you i had no hope to guess!
... but it was the firearm commercial break part that intrigued me, can you say something about that? :-)

We don't have any gun advertisements here in the US except those for toy guns like Nerf's (which only have a passing resemblance to real firearms) or unless in relation to something in a fantasy situation, such as a video game advertisement (in which case, it's the video game that's being advertised, not any weapons featured in it). Likely, there's FCC (the Federal Communications Commission, in charge of regulating radio, TV, and other media communications devices) regulations about how firearms can be shown in commercials. I don't know the exact regulations, but I don't recall ever seeing non-toy gun commercials on TV here in the States, so I figure there likely are.
Regardless, this picture was created because I needed a break from the Helía Presents storyline, primarily because, until late in the night, I was very distracted by YouTube videos about, what else?, Squirrel With a Gun. As I'm in the middle of a comic skit with an initial image homaging a TV show, it seemed only logical to call it a commercial break, thus promising that I'll get back to the action soon enough. Naturally, since I still have my Generation 1 Megatron toy to use as a model, why not fan art pairing the SWaG with a Walther P38? It beat missing another night.

To be fair, neither did I. I might hypothesize that they're commercials for cable shows, but I haven't watched TV in over 20 years, so I have no idea. :\

and :-) now i get it! so sorry for being clueless. i should think twice before commenting things that i'm so ignorant about.
Why be sorry? How else are you going to find out what my logic was? Comments are how you un-ignorant yourself. Even if you happen to be psychic, that doesn't mean you would be able to read my mind.

It definitely would, but then this isn't your average squirrel. :p It's not every squirrel who can run around shooting down secret government agents with everything from shotguns to RPGs. :o
