I had a suit for MFM's 1920's theme I planned to wear. But at some point beforehand I realized that none of my ears could be worn with my newsboy cap I had for it. Somehow I had a ton of ears but they were all headband style. So I figured I would make up a set of floppy dog ears on hair clips. And while doing that, I made up a tail to go with it.
This also allowed a second chance at attempting to dye white faux fur. I'm really happy with the result. This time I tried different colors to get a mottled effect. I'm so happy with it! I also experimented with the inner ear and landed on using old eyeshadow of all things to color in some details. I definitely want to experiment with that more sometime. ^_^
