L: In a shallow section of a lake, a light blue dragon, Blubby, idly splashes around and occasionally blows bubbles into the air as he waits for someone. He and that friend he'd spoken with on the Internet had agreed to meet up here, and it would be their first time actually meeting in person!
S: pretty soon that someone approaches, me... I am a light blue anthro lizard with glasses on and wearing a pair of green swim shorts with goggles over my forehead, I soon approach that same section of the lake, and as soon as I see blubby, my tail immediately starts to wag and I run over to them
L: Blubby looks over as he hears you running, and he starts wagging his tail as well. "It's you! It's so cool to finally meet you for real!" He runs to you to give you the best hug a quadruped can.
S: I immediately give blubby a hug back, my tail constantly wagging behind me
"Blubby!! It's so awesome to finally meet you!! Wow...you look so much more cooler in person!"
L: "So do you! Ha, I'm not sure you ever said what species you are when we talked before!" Blubby looks you over, taking in your appearance.
S: I also take a good look at blubby myself
"Heh, sorry... I guess I should have mentioned I'm a lizard, and I just realized... our skin colors look almost the exact same! That's wild!"
L: "Yeah, we're really similar, that's a cool coincidence! We almost look related!"
S: "Yeah! Awesome!! So, I guess we should get on with what we originally had planned, I brought all my swim stuff and im hoping to conquer the water..."
L: "Yep, gotta get you okay with being in water, as tough as I think that's gonna be... I'm glad you're prepared for it, that should help."
S: "I will admit, I am pretty nervous about this... and I don't know how I'm gonna do, but I know with you helping me out, I'll be able to do this... besides, I gotta get comfortable with the water because another friend of mine that I have yet to meet in person wants me to be their dive partner, and I can't let them down"
L: "I'll do my best, I really hope we'll be able to make this happen! For starters, get your goggles on, we'll try to just have you get your head underwater at all first."
S: "Oh.... alright...I guess I'll try then, oh boy..." deep down, I was pretty scared to put my head underwater, although I've done it before previously...I was still pretty nervous, so I removed my glasses and put them away, before lowering my swim goggles over my eyes "D-do I at least look good with these on? Heh"
L: "You do, yeah! I kind of wish I had more reason to wear mine, goggles almost always make people cuter... But anyway, you're physically ready now, are you mentally ready?"
S: "Mentally?? Uhhh, i-i don't know..." I look over at the shallow section of the water, pretty nervous about doing this "I-i-i think so... do you think I look cuter with these goggles on?"
L: "Yep! I bet being underwater will make you even cuter, but we'll just have to see."
S: "Huh???" I blush a tad "Cuter underwater?? That be interesting...heh"
L: "Well, the only way we'll find out is if you go under! You can do it, I know you can!"
S: "Yeah...I guess, oh boy...I'm so scared!!!" I shiver with fear a little as I look at the water ahead, wondering if I'm actually gonna be able to do this
L: "It's gonna be okay, I'm right here to help if you end up having any trouble, but I'm certain it'll be fine."
S: "O-ok... I guess... let's do this thing then..." I was still very much afraid, but I had to at least give this a shot
L: "I'll put my head under when you do, so you won't be alone down there, alright?"
S: "Oh...alright then" I head into the shallow lake, staring down at the water below, trying to convince myself to stick my head down there
L: Blubby follows you into the water, keeping his head raised so he can still talk. "Ready whenever you are!"
S: I gulp
"Uhhh blubby, I don't know if I'm gonna able to do this, last time I went underwater I could only go one second before it was already too much for me!"
L: "Hey, just one second like that is still better than nothing! Plus, if you keep going under for really short times like that, it's gonna start getting easier over time."
S: "I guess your right... maybe you should go under first, so then I'll know I will see you right away when I do eventually go under myself"
L: "Sure, I can do that. Hopefully I'll be seeing you down there!" Blubby quickly takes a huge breath before lowering his head underwater, looking up at you and watching you.
S: after a lot of hesitation and looking down at blubby for a brief moment or two, I shut my eyes and take a massive deep breath before managing to duck my head underwater, whimpering a bit
L: Blubby smiles at you and wags his tail a little, happy you've managed to get even this far.
S: as i open my eyes to look at blubby, i smile just a tad bit, but just as predicted I only managed maybe a few seconds before coming back up to the surface
L: Once you surface, Blubby raises his head again, exhaling. "Hey, that was a lot more than just a second, good job!"
S: I gasp for air heavily as if I held it for several minutes
"I-it was?? It certainly didn't feel that way to me... I told you I could only last seconds before it gets too much for me"
L: "You did say before that your best was just a second, so a FEW seconds like that is a pretty big improvement!"
S: "Hmm, I guess your right...it is a big improvement, but honestly I don't know if I'm ever gonna get up to a minute..."
L: "It'll take a lot of practice, but I'm sure you'll be able to get to the point eventually. Maybe even today, who knows?"
S: "I don't know, I guess we'll have to find out... it did make me feel better that you were with me down there tho"
L: "Do you want to try it again? I'm okay with doing this any many times as you want."
S: "Umm... i-i mean...I guess we can try it again, there's still a lot of things I need to work on, like trying to go deeper too"
L: "We can try that after this one, we should get you used to just being underwater at all first."
S: "Right, yeah... I can't really swim that well yet, only took a few lessons before it got too overwhelming for me, so maybe with someone as special as you could help me... I mean my other friend I met online loves to be underwater and actually perfers to be down there then on the surface, I still haven't met them in real life, and I'm hoping for that soon"
L: "Not like you need to be able to swim to enjoy water, I would know! But yeah, you should definitely learn at some point, I think that'll be a big help for you."
S: "I'm sure my other friend would definitely be able to help with that since you cant swim yourself, if he were here... I doubt he would even know where this lake is, considering he's only swam in pools"
L: "I mean, he MUST know where a few are, it's just that he's never gone to any. I'm sure he'd be up for swimming in a lake like this."
S: "Maybe I could ask him for help then, maybe you two combined will be able to help me further....problem is...I don't know where he lives...heh..."
L: "You know, he told me the other day that he'd actually be somewhere near here right about now... Maybe we could see if we can find him?"
S: "Hmm, that's a possibility... he's probably closer then we think...yeah let's see if we can go look for him! It be so great for us to finally meet in real life! He's been my buddy for... like 10 months now and we still haven't met in person yet, this'll be great if we find him!"
L: "Alright, let's get looking for him then!" Blubby climbs out of the water, ready to go searching with you.
S: I climb out of the water myself, putting my goggles over my forehead for now as I put my glasses back on, hoping to find my buddy nearby soon
L: After a little while of searching, you and Blubby happen across another anthro lizard, this one green with blue swim trunks, holding a pair of goggles as they walk...
I stop as I see you two, and quickly begin smiling and wagging my tail. "I-it's finally happening, we're ACTUALLY meeting! Hi!"
S: I gasp out of pure shock as I see you
"Buddy!!!! It's actually you!!" I run over to you with my arms open, ready to give you a big hug
L: I run over as well and hug you. "Man, I thought it was gonna be even longer than this before we'd get to meet!"
Blubby sits down and watches us, smiling.
S: "I know right! I'm so happy we happened to be in the same area!! I thought meeting blubby was awesome enough, now I got to see you as well!"
L: "Yeah, this is gonna be a pretty great day for all of us!"
Blubby: "Getting to swim with you two would make it even better, I was trying to help Emilio with that a few minutes ago and we think you'd do better at that than me!"
S: "Yeah, I think you two combined could finally help me stay more calm while trying to submerge and learn how to actually swim and all, Dan over here is literally an expert I feel like when it comes to this stuff, heh"
L: "I've had a lot of experience with water, yeah. Not the best at swimming on the surface, but I can still do it and I've never really minded. Hopefully I'll be able to help you learn!"
Blubby: "Alright, let's head back to that lake and give this another shot."
S: "Alright let's go!" the trio then head back to the lake, I look over at Dan with a smile when we get back "At least your prepared too to be in the water in seems, we're you actually heading to go for a swim before I saw you?"
L: "Yep, I'm finally gonna be swimming in something other than a pool for once! To be honest, I'm a little nervous about it, but I'll be fine, especially with you two around."
Blubby: "Don't worry, I'm not gonna let anything happen to either of you."
S: "I feel you, this was my first time going in a body of water that wasn't a pool, so I was nervous myself... but I certainly hope this goes better now" I walk over to the edge of the lake "Well, come on guys..." I certainly was still nervous to go back underwater but knowing Dan is going to actually teach me how to swim around I felt a little better about it
L: Blubby and I get into the water.
"So, first off, do you have a decent idea of how to swim? I know you took lessons for a little while, but just to be sure."
S: "Well I mean, I really only managed to get up to learning to tread water, which I can't do yet... but I was told what I had to do so I guess you could say I have a decent idea of it" I slowly get in the water myself, making sure to say a good amount of feet away since I didn't know how to treat the water and actually swim yet
L: "Alright, well, watch me, that should give you a better idea of how to do it." I wade into deeper water, and swim in place to keep myself on the surface.
S: "Hmmm..." I take some mental notes in my head as I watch you swim in place "Doesn't look too hard, I bet I could do it..."
L: "Give it a shot, then! And, Blubby, could you stay under him to make sure he won't sink, just in case?"
Blubby: "Yep, got it!" He takes a deep breath and wades into the deep part, planning to support you if you can't stay on the surface on your own.
S: "Alright, here's goes nothing..." I slowly start to wade into the deeper parts of the shallow lake, coming up next to you as I actually manage to keep myself afloat just like you showed me
"Am I doing this right? I'm not sinking!"
L: "Yeah, you're getting it! Pretty easy, huh?"
Blubby happily blows bubbles beneath you as he watches you swim.
S: "Heh, this is not so bad!" using what I learned in my previous swim lessons I start properly swimming around, giggling as I saw blubby blowing bubbles under me
"This is quite fun! I didn't think I could do this so fast!"
L: "Ha, you're practically a natural at this! All that's really left is diving...Do you feel like you're ready?"
S: I stop swimming and just float in place next to you, once again acting nervous
"Oh boy...I mean I did it once already with blubby but that was only for a few seconds just below the surface, I don't know...I mean I guess I could try..."
"Maybe with you and blubby by my side I might be able to do better..."
L: "Blubby's waiting down there right now, and he'll be with you when you go under, but I can tell him to come back up if you want."
S: "No it's ok, he was already down there when I first submerged as that made me feel a little better about it and i know he can last a very long time down there, I just don't know if I'm gonna have the will power to dive again for longer"
L: "Alright, I'm sure he'll be fine with staying longer. Why don't you just try going under again? You might already do better!"
S: "Better? I don't know.... I guess I won't know until I actaully submerge underwater again, but I don't know how I'm gonna be able to calm myself down and stay down longer...it's almost impossible when you can't breathe down there and all"
L: "Blubby can give you bubbles down there, you don't really have to worry about not being able to breathe. Plus, it's not all that deep, you could come right back up."
S: "True..." I sigh heavily "Alright, I did say I wanted to get better at this so... I'll try and go under again" I put my glasses away again and lower my goggles back over my eyes, looking down at the water below and preparing to face it yet again
L: I hold your hand, giving you a reassuring smile. "I'll go under when you do, so you'll have both of us down there with you."
S: I smile a tad bit and blush a bit too as you held my hand, I nod slowly
"Thanks Dan, I appreciate that... let's uh, try and go underwater at the same time, I need all the help I can get for this"
L: "Alright, let's try a countdown, that always helps in the stories our friends tell us. 3...2...1..." I take a deep breath and start to go under, slow enough that you have a chance to hold your breath.
S: "Oh boy..." briefly panicking I calm down right away and take a deep breath myself, holding it in as I use my other free hand to pinch my nose shut before we both go underwater
L: I keep holding your hand as Blubby and I watch you, both of us happy you've gone under again. Blubby happily lets out a large bubble.
S: as I open up my eyes to look at both of you, my cheeks slightly puffy as I try to keep my air in, I'm still pretty nervous as I look around briefly before just focusing on my breath
L: Able to tell this is going even better than last time, Blubby starts wagging his tail a little. I'm getting increasingly impressed as well, but I make sure to stay ready to help you surface once you want to.
S: my tail causally sways from side to side as I keep holding my breath, I scoot a bit closer so I'm next to both you and blubby like in the middle, still holding your hand as my face already turns a tad bit red
L: Blubby and I both give you a hug, happily bubbling at this huge jump in progress with your confidence about water.
S: I blush more just from you two hugging me at the same time, my tail swaying a bit more happily at my accomplishment, deciding to keep it up to see how long I can last as I let some bubbles loose from my mouth, my face slowly growing more red overtime
L: Blubby and I sit down on the bottom next to you, both of us wondering how long you'll be able to stay on this dive.
S: I sit down as well, closing my eyes as a grunt of strain becomes audible, it's clear I won't be able to last too much longer as I'm not quite used to this new breathless feeling inside me
L: In case you end up wanting to stay down longer, Blubby gets ready to make a bubble for you, while I stay ready to help you surface if you choose that instead.
S: as I wasn't quite used or knowing how to use these air bubbles and not risking on trying it for the first time and risk failing when I really need air, I look at you worringly then at the surface, wanting fresh air
L: I nod, and hold onto you before jumping off the bottom toward the surface. We get there in just a second or so, and I lightly gasp, having been starting to blush some myself. "That already went SO much better!"
S: I gasp for air a bit heavily, coughing a tad too
"Whoa! That was....something else, how long was I even down there?? That felt like an interesting eternity"
L: "Definitely more than a minute, I can say that for sure! Maybe even a minute and a half!"
S: "Huh?!?! No way... that's insane!! Maybe blubby knows the real time, get him back up here for a second I'm sure he's just as proud of me!"
L: "Alright, hang on." I dip my head underwater and gesture for Blubby to come up. He nods, and quickly climbs back to the more shallow part, able to get his head above the surface.
"Blubby, how long was he under?"
Blubby: "It's a good thing I felt like timing him! It was a minute and 47 seconds!"
S: my mouth drops open
"What?!?! That's almost 2 minutes!!! U-u-unbelieveable!!! Omg!" my tail starts to wag like crazy, splashing all of his in the process
L: "I really didn't expect that either, it took me a lot of practice to get to that record myself! Great job!"
Blubby: "Yeah, for your first real dive, that's a great amount of time!"
S: "Thanks guys, but I couldn't have done it without you... I guess my pokemon buddies were right... If you have a friend with you on your dives, your most likely gonna do better in terms of breath holding...and honestly *I blush a little more* It felt good when both of you hugged me at the same time down there, heh"
L: "I really liked that hug too!"
Blubby: "Hopefully you'll be able to dive on your own now!"
S: "By myself?? Uhh, I don't know about that, i don't think I would wanna dive all by myself if I'm honest, I'm a little too scared...I always want a buddy with me..."
L: "Yeah, maybe not yet... But you can always ask me or one of our friends to join you, I can't imagine anyone would mind all that much."
Blubby: "I certainly wouldn't, I can tell you that!"
S: "I don't think at all, I always want someone with me no matter what, and if didn't find anyone then I wouldn't even go for that dive, heh... I definitely ask either of you guys first when it comes to that"
L: "Well, I'd always try to come by if you asked!"
Blubby: "Same here!"
S: I blush a bit
"Thanks you guys, your the best seriously!" I wrap an arm around both of you in a hug
L: We both hug you back. "No problem!"
Blubby: "Always happy to help, no matter how much it takes!"
S: "Hehe! Well... what should I work on now? Should I do another dive and try to go deeper this time?"
L: "If you're up for it right now, sure, may as well since we're here!"
Blubby: "And I can give you guys air if you want to stay down there longer!"
S: "How does that work? I mean I know you blow all those big bubbles but what I am supposed to do with them to get air, cause I honestly don't know...heh heh"
L: Blubby: "I guess maybe the others haven't told you... You just hold one, press it to your mouth, and suck it in. You can try it out up here if you want."
S: "Hmm, yeah I wanna practice it before I actaully try it underwater...I've never ever done this kind of thing before"
L: Blubby: "Good thing I don't have to be underwater for this!" He takes a breath, then blows out a big bubble, which he pushes so it floats toward you.
S: "Whoa! I forgot that you could do that! Cool!" I gently take the bubble in my hands "Alright, let's try this then" I put the bubble close to my mouth and manage to slowly suck it into me, getting the whole bubble as I sigh a bit happily
"Wow, that actaully felt pretty good...and I think I did it!"
L: Blubby: "Yep, that looked right to me! Think we're ready now!"
S: "Alright! Guess let's try this thing then, how much more deeper are we gonna go?"
L: "This lake does get fairly deep in parts, apparently. But, we'll only go as deep as you're comfortable with."
Blubby: "I'm fine with whatever you guys pick."
S: "Ok, I don't know what would be a comfortable depth for me, since I've only ever gone like 1 inch underwater, heh..."
L: "Well, we can keep going deeper, and when you feel like it's starting to be too much, we'll stay at the depth we're at at that point. Sound good?"
S: "Hmmm...ok that works I guess...let's try this thing then... I'm pretty nervous to go deeper tho"
L: Blubby: "We'll be right with you the whole time! Well, Dan moreso than me since I can't swim, but I'll try my best to stay close."
S: "Thanks, I know Dan will make sure I'm ok... he's my buddy, hehe" I wrap my arm around you and give you a little side hug
L: I do the same. "Yep, there's no way I'm gonna let anything happen to you!"
Blubby: "With all of us together, we've got nothing to worry about!"
S: "Yeah I guess your right...ok, let's do this thing then! Imma try and be brave about this!"
L: Blubby: "Alright! I've been to this lake before, I know where the deeper parts are. We'll head just above one, then straight down from there." He starts leading the group toward a deeper section of the lake.
S: I try and not get nervous as we head over to the deeper section of the lake, eventually all of us get there
L: Blubby: "Okay, we're here!"
I look down into the deep water, a little bit nervous myself. "Man, that's gonna be deeper than I've ever gone..."
S: I look down at the deep water myself, more nervous then before
"Mama mia! T-t-thats pretty deep! That's very intimating to me!"
L: "At least we're not gonna have to worry about air, but the water pressure's probably gonna suck..."
Blubby: "Yeah, we should take it slow so you two have a chance to get used to it."
S: "Oh no...water pressure?? I didn't even take that into consideration... I don't know if I'm gonna be able to handle water pressure period! I'm very nervous! I've never done any of this advanced stuff before!"
L: Blubby: "Hey, it's not gonna be all THAT far, the pressure's probably hardly even gonna make you guys a little sore!"
Me: "I guess, yeah..."
S: "I still don't know... but if I wanna dive to a shrine, then I need to get used to water pressure...so let's do this..."
L: "Right, you wanted to go see that shrine with Lenn... Then yeah, we'd better help you with this, that's probably gonna be even deeper than this lake."
Blubby: "Yeah, this only goes to about 120 feet, but it'll be good to get practice with that."
S: "Oh boy, 120?? Jeez... well, I guess we'll see what happens then... heh heh..." I was still very scared "L-lets just do this..."
L: "Alright, get some deep breaths in you... Especially you, Blubby."
Blubby: "Yep!" He starts taking in a huge breath so he'll have plenty of bubbles to share.
S: I start to take some deep breathes, hoping I'll be able to calm myself down for the deep dive ahead of me, still very much worried
L: After a little while, with Blubby ready, I do another countdown. "Okay... 3, 2, 1..." I take one last deep breath before diving, and Blubby walks deep enough that he submerges. We wait just under the surface for you.
S: as I go to take a last breath as well, I stop... looking down at the two of you submerged underwater and at the deep water, clearly I was too afraid to actaully dive back under, knowing ill be going deeper this time...
L: After a couple seconds, I surface, and Blubby gets back up just after.
Me: "Still too nervous?"
Blubby: "Looks that way..."
S: "Y-yeah, I'm sorry guys... I don't know if I'm gonna have it in me to dive deep underwater... it's gonna make me feel uncomfortable knowing I'm gonna be far away from the surface..." I frown, clearly disappointed in myself
L: "You can do it, I know you can! You've already improved so much today!"
Blubby: "Yeah, it's not gonna be scary once you've seen what it's like down there!"
S: "Guys....ugh, I just don't know... I don't know I'm gonna be able to do this, it's so... deep... how is it gonna be cool to be deep underwater?? I'm super frightened!"
just then, someone comes over the horizon on a nearby hill out of the water, just within viewing distance of everyone, it's Glacier the glaceon!
L: Blubby is the first to notice them. "Oh hey, Glacier!"
I look over as well. "Oh, cool to see you here too!"
S: "Huh?" I look over there too "Glacier!"
Glacier - "Whoa... looks like we've got a full house going on here! Hey guys!" Glacier is wearing a pair of swim goggles as he jumps into the lake the trio are in, swimming towards them "Well what's up guys! What are you doing here?" he looks at you "I don't think I've ever seen you before"
L: "I'm Dan! I've heard a lot about you, and Emilio's probably told you a lot about me as well. It's nice to finally meet you!"
Blubby: "We were helping Emilio get more used to swimming, and we were just trying to convince him to go for a deeper dive."
S: "Well nice to meet you Dan! Yeah I think Emilio did mention something about you..."
Me - "Yeah, that's who I was talking about"
Glacier - "Cool! So your trying to convince Emilio to go on a deeper dive huh? How's that been going?"
L: "We THOUGHT it was going well, but he's too scared to even go under with the bottom being so much farther away."
Blubby: "Yeah, we're having some trouble convincing him now..."
S: "Oh no... that's not good... I get it, diving deep is pretty scary, I struggled with it a lot when I first started to learn how to swim... if I were to come with you guys do you think Emilio would be less scared? I was gonna go for a dive in this lake anyways"
Me - "Well, the more the merrier I suppose...it might help...plus Glacier is a really good friend of mine"
L: "Having more friends around definitely couldn't hurt!"
Blubby: "Yep, that should make this easier for you!"
S: Glacier - "Alright! I'll tag along then and help you guys out! Think you feel a lot more better now Emilio?"
Me - "Honestly...yeah a little, I think I'll try this thing again then..."
L: "Nice! Alright, deep breaths everyone!" Blubby and I start preparing again, hoping it'll go better this time.
S: Glacier - "Alright let's do this!"
Glacier starts to take some deep breathes to prepare, I was once again feeling pretty scared, but after I petted Glacier a bit I calm down and take some deep breathes myself
L: Like before, I do a countdown after a while. "3, 2, 1..." Blubby and I both hold our breath and go under.
S: Glacier holds his breath and goes under, the trio all waiting for me to go under...and after some brief hesitation again, I take a deep breath myself, pinch my nose shut and dive underwater finally
L: I smile at you and Blubby happily blows some bubbles as we see you dive, and Blubby gestures for us to follow as he starts walking deeper.
S: I smile back a bit as I let some bubbles loose, Glacier also smiles at me as he starts to go deeper with blubby... I held your hand again as I was scared to go deeper
L: I'm still a little nervous about the depth as well, but I try not to show it, and I lead you down deeper as I follow Blubby.
S: Glacier stays back with both of us to make sure we were ok, swimming down at the same speed as us...I nervously look around as the waters slowly grow deeper
L: Blubby looks back at us every now and then to make sure we're alright. While the water pressure is starting to be noticeable to me, I don't really mind it yet.
S: however, as I first start to feel the water pressure at the same time you do for the first time ever, I start to briefly panic... whimpering out bubbles as we keep going... Glacier tries to place a paw on my shoulder to reassure that everything was gonna be ok
L: Noticing you're getting scared again, I pause to hug you and hopefully help you calm down. I'm already blushing a bit, but I'm still calm.
S: I'm blushing quite a bit as I hug you back, whimpering a tad bit more as well as we continue deeper
L: Blubby hears the whimpering and stops, looking at me and you. He blows out a bubble but doesn't release it, asking if you want air.
S: looking at the bubble I nod, I start to slightly tear up as well as this was getting uncomfortable for me, and I didn't like it...covering my eyes as well as I cry a bit
L: Blubby releases the bubble and pushes it toward you, not going deeper any more as he can tell this is about the limit for you.
S: I didn't notice the bubble because I was too upset by this water pressure I wasn't a fan of, continuing to sob a bit...Glacier tries to get my attention but it doesn't happen
L: "Mm!" I poke at you, before grabbing the bubble and holding it to your mouth for you.
S: "Mm?" I open my eyes to look at the bubble, I inhale it and feel a little better knowing I had a fresh set of lungs, but I was still rather upset, looking at all 3 of you worringly with visble tears in my eyes... Glacier frowns and uses his front paws to give me a hug
L: I hug you as well, and help you get a bit higher up so the pressure won't be quite as bad. Blubby, of course, can't join us in that, and just watches us.
S: I continue to whimper as I hug both of them back, looking at blubby down below worryingly as well, my face already is back to red from how scared I am
L: I point up at the surface, wondering if you want to just head back up so you don't have to deal with the pressure any more.
S: I wanted to stay down here, I really did...but my body says otherwise so I nod my head at you
L: With a nod back, I start swimming up with you. As Blubby sees that, he starts climbing his way back to the surface as well.
S: Glacier heads back up as well, and before long the quartet eventually reaches the surface, I gasp for breath a bit heavily and wipe away a few remaining tears
"That was...scary! Jeez!"
L: I gasp somewhat heavily as well. "W-we shouldn't have brought you that far on your first deep dive, sorry!"
Blubby pokes his head above the water nearby. "Still, that'll have been pretty good practice!"
S: "Y-yeah, that was really deep!! I think I ended up crying with how unbearable it was! Embarrassing..."
L: "I mean, there's a bit of water in your goggles that wasn't there before... But, if you WERE crying, don't worry about it."
S: "Y-yeah, that water is probably my tears...I was really tearing up with how deep I went"
Glacier - "Awww poor Emilio... I'm sorry" glacier hugs me tightly as he frowns
L: I give you a hug as well, and Blubby comes over to join in now that he can.
Me: "I think that's enough for one day, we can try again some other time."
S: "Agreed..."
Me - "Y-yeah, ok that's fine with me, I'm done with being submerged..." I immediately start to swim back to the shore
L: Blubby: "Let's just hang out for now, how's that?"
Me: "That sounds good, yeah!" I and Blubby follow you.
S: "Sure... I guess so"
Glacier follows too, and they all reach the shore, I sit down on the edge of it, trying to recover from my deep dive
"How far down did I even go?"
L: Blubby and I sit with you as well.
Me: "Think that was a little over halfway... Honestly, I'm kind of impressed with BOTH of us!"
S: "Wow... that's insane!"
Glacier sits next to me as well
Glacier - "Good job buddy! I'm very proud of you!"
Me - "Well I don't know how I'm gonna be able to go to that shrine but, I'm sure lenn will be able to help me"
L: "Just gotta keep practicing, and getting used to water pressure. You'll manage it eventually!"
Blubby: "Might take a little bit, but yeah, you'll get there!"
S: Glacier - "Mmhm!"
Me - "Yeah...I'll keep practicing, but for now I just wanna rest with my buddies, come here everyone group hug time!"
Glacier - "I like that!"
L: "Haha, you got it!" I come over to you and hug you.
Blubby: "Cool, these are fun!" He joins in on the hug.
S: Glacier also joins in on the hug, and I happily hug everyone back
Me - "Thanks guys, this is great! Just what I needed"
L: "Definitely a good way to relax after such a stressful dive, huh?"
S: "It sure is..." I sigh happily "Thank you all for your help, and I'm so happy I got to meet up with dan and blubby, and even Glacier got in on the action, so I appreciate it...heh"
L: "Yeah, this has been really great so far!"
Blubby: "I've had a lot of fun with you guys!"
S: "I almost don't wanna say goodbye to blubby or Dan... I had such an amazing time... do you think us 3 could like hang out together for the rest of the day?"
Glacier - "You guys do you, I've gotta get going back home anyways now, but I'll see you around!" Glacier gives all of us one more hug before leaving and I raise up my goggles to my forehead and put my glasses back on
L: "Yeah, I'm fine with staying!" I put my goggles up as well.
Blubby: "Same here, we can just relax together!"
S: "Sounds like a plan to me!" and so, all 3 of us relaxed together after a long and deep dive, I felt pretty proud of myself for managing, and I slowly start to feel better about being in water
