Any kingdom I'd depict in such a setting as this one would at least have wine and brandy. Though they would still have respect and understanding for the customs of other kingdoms including Shajarat.

The kingdom I presented in an alternate scenario also has cognac. And probably the very finest and most renowned cognac in all of the Eastlands. And it is made only from the most select vinyards of grapes which are varieties of ugni blanc, folle blanche, and colombard. Shomari would not have such a fine premium cognac in his supply unless he sends a detail with a horse and wagon to go and steal a barrel of it...thus the detail taking the risk getting caught.
