Who is Shea Hams?
Shea Hams or Shea Steeledottir is the daughter of Steele Hams and step Daugther of Dixie Woods in my Balto/Paw Patrol AU Steele n Friends first seen in the Grifter and its prequel story Birthday Pom.
She's an aloof and independent character who's easygoing and gets along with her father even if they don't always agree on everything. Unlike her father and stepmother, she's more reserved in her emotions and is not easily angered even if deep down behind her chilled personality lies a more melancholic personality that remains locked inside.
History
Born on July 7th, 2017 to Maria and Steele Hams at the Omigard, Bi-cell Hospital, Shea "Metal" Hams would be under the loving care of her mother Maria who was discharged from the military. Shea was quiet, she wasn't shy but she wasn't social either. She ignores the other pups in her neighborhood and even at school. However, she is the smartest of her class. At age seven, she began reading historical texts from Julius Caesar to King Fredrick to even Axefang Codexes and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel.
Like Steele before her, She locks herself away at home, Reading these books at night. She also wasn't into girly things, often possessing a more gothic personality as soon in her attire. At ten years old, She would lose her mother who died at the hands of a goblin. Shea of course would be struck with sadness at her mother's death but her father dealt with it the worst and due to his actions, She would always repress her sadness because of him.
After he was discharged from the Grand Nordic Unity, Steele and Shea moved to his hometown of Mazkagale, Thule. She attended Mazkagale Junior High School in the seventh grade when she met Little Amanda Carson. She and Little Amanda grew close thanks to their dads history together.
Shea would continue to go to school with her friends even when her father went back to Omigard. She would stay with Little Amanda at her aunt and uncle's until she finished school. One time she went on a school trip to Kvenland when she found a peculiar box. Donning golden trims and sigils. Shea took it with her from the ruins she and Samatha explored. (Remember this).
Shea would study history and Demonology in her school days, even getting the Historian degree when she graduated in the summer of 2038. Once she left school she would work at a history museum. During the events of the Heart of the Damned Story, She would get a call from her father who told her about Dixie.
She didn't remember who she was but regardless she and her father would talk and she would eventually talk him into letting her come home. From that night to October 17th. She would save up the money for an airplane ticket and on the final day, Shea gave her farewells to Amanda for now and went to move in with her dad and Dixie.
Remember when I said to remember her taking that box, Well near Halloween, she would examine the box and come to realize that it was a puzzle box. Upon solving it she would summon interdimensional beings who can appear as Angels to some and Demons to others.
Her relationship with Dixie
Shea, although she wouldn't have remembered Dixie, She gets along with her. Even have some things in common such as their love for metal music. Shea sees Sylvie more as an aunt and Bolt as an uncle.
Occultism
Shea since she was young had been into the occult, from reading books and tomes of the Occult to studying Demonology and of course, uncovering the lament configuration from a forgotten ruin in Kvenland.
Conclusion
Shea, while not as flesh out as Dixie or Steele has gone through a lot from losing her mom to summoning demonic humanoids. I do hope to flesh her out in future stories even if she's still overshadowed by her father.
