Sylvie Lore Essay
Steele n Friends

Who is Sylvie Hruntyrdottir?
Sylvie is one of Dixie's friends and a supporting character in my Steele n Friends AU. She's an Afghan (Anuntilian) Hound who works with Dixie and Skye at the Omigard Gazette. She also helps Dixie in making Gossip articles where Skye values the truth. But regardless Sylvie shows her cockapoo friend respect even when they disagree with one another.

History
Born on 8/14/2002 At the Bi-cell Golden Sands City Memorial Hospital to Maple and Hruntyr. Sylvie is the youngest of the family after her older brother Krane Hruntyrsson who was born two years prior. As a child, Sylvie always had an affinity for writing. She would write either Gossip stories on school bullies or the going on at school.

At age six when she entered the Golden Sands City Elementary School annual spelling bee contest, She managed to win the competition due to her time and effort in writing. When she wasn't writing, she took the time to learn old anuntilian magic, mostly Divination and Illusion.

She'd read every tome and scroll regarding Illusion and Divination and occasionally seiðr. She took the time to go to various Arcanology classes to learn more about the art. At age twelve she would go with her father on an expedition to the Nameless City in the dark deserts of Hykoria in search of artifacts when they came across the Necromanicon. Sylvie got too curious and read some of the fragmented pages of the cursed tome.

Thankfully she came out unscathed but she did acquire knowledge of summoning demons that she never thought to use. Often time she would write essays and short stories.

At the age of fifteen, she would have a reputation with the high school's writer's club, some positive and other negative depending on the person. On graduation day Sylvie would write about the graduation at the writer's club for the next school year for the final time before enlisting for the Grand Nordic Unity on May 21st, 2022. She would be shipped to Nome where Krane would be shipped to Issgord. Sylvie would serve as a military journalist and be responsible for reporting military news and yet she would be part of Zulis squad with her future husband Kaltag Egirsson.

She wasn't combat capable but she had her share of Physical training. In 2026 on April 4th, She meets Dixie Woods, A troubled twenty-four years old Twilight Pomeranian from Starhold, Thule.

Next year during the second diphtheria she and Dixie would update the news every now and then until Zulis team minus Steele would return to Nome and cure the people with the second strain of Diphtheria. On March 8th, 2027 Nome would be under attack by Dominian Clones and Sylvie would make news about the situation. The War on the clones would extend further and She would tag along with Dixie to infiltrate a Dominian stronghold in an attempt to capture it and for the first time she had taken a life from a Dominian Clone who attempted to kill her.

She was shaken by this and was discharged on March 20th, 2027, and soon moved to Omigard to apply for the Omigard Gazette. She wrote articles covering various topics from politics to celebrity gossip. She would reunite with Dixie the following year and soon she would start dating Kaltag after he was discharged from the military.

She and Kaltag would move in together after a year and on January 20th 2034, Kaltag and Sylvie would marry at the Seed of Yggdrasil at the center of the town. Sylvie and Kaltag would go on to live in their simple life until 2035 on September when Steele would come back to Omigard. He would start dating Dixie and Sylvie would be happy for her friend then a secret is revealed that Dixie has been dating Cash followed by Dixie Mcentire of the Singing Strays exposing the pomeranian at the plaza.

For a while, Sylvie didn't know what to think about the whole thing other than it wasn't her business and yet she wanted Dixie to be happy but with the right person and not be with someone for their fame.

She would be happy that Dixie would stay with Steele even if she herself hadn't been fond of the malamute for his actions back in 2027 and yet she gave him a chance. Sylvie, Dixie, and Skye would still continue to work at the Gazette and support each other. Just as September 2038 came around, Her father who she hadn't seen in years died from an illness. She and Kaltag would visit her family at her old home and home nation of Anuntilia.

A funeral is held at the Sands of Sadness, a massive graveyard within the Anuntilian dunes. She and Kaltag would deal with supernatural forces associated with a tablet her father had been studying before his death and lastly, She and Kaltag would return to Omigard with hopes of returning to her home for future visits.

Appearance
Sylvie is a caninoids belonging to the Afghan hound or Anuntilian hound breed. She stands about 5'8ft tall with Sandy tan fur with a chocolate brown face, hands, paws, and the tip of her long floppy ears.

Inspiration
Like Dixie, My version of Sylvie also takes influence from a version of her seen in Folwilliar's Western and Atlantic series. She is also a gossiper but less sly in comparison to Dixie.

Conclusion
She's somewhat the opposite of Dixie, She grew up in a kind family, She's also less violent than her pomeranian friend and she makes gossip for the greater good. Sylvie will have her own stories in the future after the events of the sands of sadness and isn't shy about speaking out her beliefs.

Little Amanda lore (Steele n Friends)
Shea Hams lore
It's a shorter Lore essay this time around but it's about well Sylvie. The Afghan Hound from Balto and her history. From her childhood to the death of her father. The lore covers all you need to know about the character in my Balto/Paw Patrol AU.

All Criticism are welcome and I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.

Sylvie@ Universal.
