"Without a care"

With a deep breath in his strong lungs, this lizard dove underwater, swimming to the seabed and laying on his back, looking up at the surface 20 feet away. After a little while, he smiled and put his hands behind his head, closing his eyes to relax. The minutes ticked by, the reptilian diver staying perfectly calm without even a twitch... It almost seemed like he was having a nap down there!

I think it'd be pretty relaxing regardless, but certainly more for people like us.

He's only about 20 feet underwater... But if he falls asleep down there, he might be waking up a lot more blue than usual~

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: on a calm day in the ocean, a lizard was diving down to the seabed to relax, he's got a pair of strong lungs that let's him stay down plenty of time, his hands behind his head as he was pretty relaxed, almost like he was napping. Swimming by, a Servine wearing a pair of swim goggles was happily kicking his way through the water, they stopped when they noticed the lizard relaxing, sinking down to stand on the bottom and gently touches them to get their attention

L: "Mm?" The lizard bubbles some in surprise, opening his eyes to look at the servine. He gives them a little wave, smiling at them.

S: the Servine smiles and waves back at them, he's got little puffy cheeks as he rather cutely holds his breath, swaying their tail a little bit behind them

L: The lizard stands up and points to the surface, wanting to head up with the servine so he can talk to them.

S: the Servine nods, his face was a little red as he swims back up to the surface with the lizard, both of them surfacing afterwards with the servine lightly gasping for breath

L: The lizard just calmly exhales, not having been under any strain yet. "Hi! I was just relaxing down there, no need to worry about me."

S: "I have never seen someone so relaxed before, sounds like you were having a good time down there... what's your name?"

L: "I'm Sven. I can hold my breath a really long time - about 21 minutes - so I can pretty easily relax even without being able to breathe."

S: "Nice to meet you Sven, and wow 21 minutes!? That's impressive! I'm a Servine as you can see, but my real name is Garrett...my best time is about 15 minutes, so it's definitely no where near yours, heh"

L: "Definitely still a respectable time, Garrett! Are you out here to explore?"

S: "Well I did some exploring earlier, I was actually looking for a good place to relax just like you... I love to be underwater, it's so quiet and peaceful, plus it's a good escape from the noisy city"

L: "It really is nice, yeah... We could lay down on the bottom together, that spot I was in seems pretty good."

S: "Sure! Sounds great! That spot looked pretty comfortable, and I would be more then happy to join you!"

L: "Alright then, great!" Sven starts taking deep breaths to get ready to potentially stay down a long time.

S: Garrett also starts to take some deep breathes as well, adjusting his swim goggles as well
"By the way, most people think I look cute underwater, do you think that's true when you saw me down there? Hehe..."

L: "Yeah, you did look cute down there! I've always really liked seeing Pokemon underwater, and you're definitely not an exception!"

S: Garrett blushes happily and wags his tail
"Aww thank you! Yeah we pokemon are definitely are lot more cute when it comes to being underwater... I was actaully supposed to bring a friend along with me, but they chickened out because they were too scared... I felt bad but I didn't wanna cause any issues so I just let them go, heh" he continues to take deep breathes as they talk

L: "That sucks... Yeah, some people just really don't like water. Hopefully they'll feel better about it someday."

S: "Ive been trying to get him to swim with me for a long time, but I fail each time, maybe someone else will manage to convince him, like his favorite legendary pokemon...but I doubt that'll happen"

L: "Man, I'd love to meet a legendary, that'd totally help me to do something I was scared of! For his sake, I hope he meets that favorite of his someday."

S: "Me too, funny enough his favorite legendary is also my favorite too, so I hope I get to meet them some day too, but for now...how about we just focus on having a good time relaxing down there, I'm pretty much ready to go"

L: "Yep, I'm ready to head down!" Sven takes one more breath before diving again, starting to swim back down.

S: Garrett takes a last deep breath and holds it before diving under to join Sven, swimming down with him as he waves cutely at him

L: Sven waves back, and soon is back on the bottom again. After a stretch he lays down like he'd been before.

S: Garrett's cheeks cutely puff up with air as he let's tiny bubbles loose from his nostrils, then he lays down next to Sven, stretching as well before sighing out bubbles happily

L: Sven looks up at the surface for a little while, watching the waves and the bubbles, before closing his eyes, smiling a little.

S: Garrett does as well, smiling before wrapping an arm around Sven and closing his eyes as well, scooting closer to him to relax

L: Sven puts an arm around Garrett too, just relaxing on the bottom with them, hardly any bubbles even leaving him.

S: Garrett smiles even more, resting his head against Sven as hardly any bubbles leave him as well with how much more relaxed he is

L: Being with Garrett underwater is so relaxing to Sven that he's beginning to fall asleep, even with the lack of any air down there.

S: pretty soon, even Garrett who's just as relaxed as Sven begins to fall asleep as well, a tiny bubble or two escaping his mouth, he may even beat his breath hold record with how calm he is, both of them relaxing without any need for air

L: Eventually, Sven entirely falls asleep, hardly using any oxygen as his body continues holding his breath on its own.

S: Garrett also entirely falls asleep as well, barely using any air... just a content cute puffy cheek smile on his face and having a nap with a new friend

L: The minutes tick by as the two sleep on the bottom, not even the slightest bit of strain visible on either of them.

S: if it wasn't for Garrett's puffy cheeks it probably wouldn't even look like he's holding his breath with how calm he is, a total of 6 minutes passes by and neither one of them have any strain with how amazingly relaxed they are

L: Sven's cheeks are remaining puffed as well, with there being no other sign of his need to eventually breathe air.

S: a couple bubble trickle away Garrett's mouth as we hit double digits, 11 minutes in all as both of them continue sleeping, with Garrett's face still pretty much normal

L: Sven is clearly still doing just fine too, and he likely wouldn't even be feeling much urge to breathe if he were to wake at this moment, a few little bubbles floating from his nose.

S: now we slowly drift passed Garrett's breath hold record, 17 minutes underwater... and he's still doing just fine! Just the tiniest of blush forming on his face that's barely even visible, he then gives Sven a hug in his sleep, holding him as if he were a holding a stuffed teddy bear while letting small bubbles escape his nose too

L: After a little bit, Sven hugs Garrett back, a little smile forming on his face. He just beginning to blush as well, though other than that he's fine.

S: Garrett smiles cutely as he feels Sven hug him back, then relaxes even more from the hug, 21 minutes slowly drift by as he continues to sleep peacefully, Garrett's face a bit more red to be visible but is still feeling perfectly fine, their tails seemingly intertwining with each other as they sleep... making their friendship grow closer then ever

L: Over time, Sven starts to actually have a little bit of noticeable strain, and he finally shifts some in a bit of discomfort from that. He's still sleeping just fine though.

S: as the 26th minute hits, Garrett also shifts in discomfort as well, even letting out a very quiet grunt of strain, but he remains fast asleep for now even as his face turns fully red at that point

L: There's finally starting to be occasional grunts from Sven as his need to breathe continues to grow. Just like Garrett though, he's staying asleep.

S: finally, they have been underwater for a full 30 minutes, now Garrett's face is turning blue as more grunts become audible, he tries to remain asleep but it's becoming clear that he may wake up soon, their tails still intertwined

L: Sven is gradually getting increasingly restless as time goes on, squirming a little in discomfort as he's closing in on being woken up by his need to breathe.

S: eventually, 33 minutes into it and Garrett could no longer stay asleep, his eyes open...at first he doesn't realize he was underwater and yawns out bubbles, but quickly noticing what was happening he covers his mouth and whines, his face turning more blue... he immediately begins to swim up to the surface, carrying Sven with him through their intertwining tails, which he had no idea about

L: "Ablah!" Sven immediately wakes as he's jolted upward, yelping out some bubbles in surprise before quickly covering his mouth. Once he gets his bearings, he starts swimming up as well.

S: eventually the both of them surface and Garrett gasps heavily for air, coughing a little as his face slowly returns to normal
"Hah....hah...hah...man, that felt long! And very refreshing" he notices his tail intertwining with Sven's and blushes before he distangles it
"Oh, hi Sven...didn't realize my tail did that...we must be growing close I guess, hehe"

L: Sven gasps hard as well, panting as he coughs a couple times too. "H-heh, yeah... We definitely went for a really long time down there..."

S: "Yeah...for sure, your a great dive partner that's for sure, I was keeping time on a stopwatch just to see how long this would last, and I'm about to reveal the final time..." Garrett pulls out his stopwatch to look at the time, his mouth dropping open in pure shock "O.....m.....g....there's no...way! Your not gonna believe this"

L: "Oh wow, how long was it?" Sven looks at the stopwatch, and his eyes go wide. "THAT long!? That's amazing!"

S: "I-i can't believe we were really underwater for 33 minutes!! That's like double my old record! I guess being with a buddy really DOES help! And the fact we were fast asleep too, which I can't believe I managed to do"

L: "I've never even slept underwater before, being with you worked great! Who would've thought having a friend to relax with would do that much?"

S: "I know right! That's insane! I was kinda pushed to my limit back there but that was really relaxing, I needed that nap... we outta do it again sometime! But I think for now we should swim back to shore, sun's going down and that's typically when the sharpedos invade this calm ocean, heh...learned my lesson the hard way..."

L: "Yeah, don't want to mess with those..." Sven starts swimming back to the shore with Garrett.

S: thankfully both of them get out of the water just before a sharpedo could get them
"Phew...well Sven, that was a great dive...I had a really good time with you...let's do this again sometime!" Garrett hugs Sven tightly, this time involuntary intertwining his tail with Sven's...giggling as well

L: "We should, yeah! And see if we can get an even better time together!" Sven hugs them back, wrapping his tail around theirs too.

S: "Totally! I can tell we are gonna be really good friends, and I'll be working on trying to convince my friend to come along on a future dive too!" Garrett smiles at their tails wrapped around each other
"I don't usually intertwine my tail with someone for no reason, you must be really special to me... and I can't wait until we meet up again!"

L: "Same here, we're gonna have even more fun next time, whenever that finally comes!"

S: "Yeah for sure! Well, I guess I'll see you around then! Take care of yourself ok?" Garrett breaks the hug and distangles his tail from Sven before waving goodbye and leaving, taking off his swim goggles as well

L: "Of course! You too, Garrett!" Sven waves back, and heads off in a different direction.

S: "Thank you!!"
