Commissioned by KK680, who showed me something really interesting, the leaked script for the cancelled Legend of Spyro movie! And this picture is based off a rather fascinating scene from the script mainly page 11:
If the movie was made, we would have actually gotten a scene of Flash and Nina taking care of baby versions of both Sparx and Spyro! And as expected, having a big baby dragon multiple times your size can be quite a challenging task! And yes! There is a diaper changing scene! and as we learn from the script, baby Spyro was quite the diaper filler! Using his diaper till it was bursting at the seams! Although it does make you wonder... how did Dragonflies get such huge diapers in the first place?
Guess I can now say that legend Spyro (almost) canonically wore diapers! I headcanon that he secretly still enjoys wearing them even when he's older.
Hopefully we will see more fanart of this scene from the leaked script!
Anyways, looks like the movie had a few budget cuts, as the legend games weren't exactly selling well, but the movie still had to be made! And not being able to make new models, they had to just use Spyro's ingame model for the baby scenes, maybe they'll shrink him in post or something, but for now, this is all they gotta work with!
