"Special snowflake" is an expression I learned from English, and its meaning is somewhat pejorative, isn't it? Well, I heard this expression while watching a video sometime ago, and I was thinking to myself how special a snowflake can be.
Well, the rationalization behind this image comes from the literal meaning of the words. I imagined myself as a Delphox, a fire Pokemon (representing here the tropical country where I live), so this young boy is placed in an environment totally different from what he is used to: snow. I stop and wonder: what will the texture be like? What will it be like trying to make a snowball, like I grew up watching in cartoons and movies? Will it be fun, or will it get boring quickly?
The bulge in the boy's pants is also intentional, representing the excitement of the new, of the incredible discovery, of being able to expand our life experience on this planet in the limited time we have here. That's why I've put it in my mind: in my humble opinion, traveling is one of the few expenses that, if done well, are worth it. I'm saving money because I want the opportunity to see, touch, and feel what real snow is like. What about you? Do you have similar plans for your future?
