"Bath to one, pool to another"

Bathtime for these two very differently-sized lizards is always pretty fun! Once they get done cleaning themselves, the big one plugs the drain and fills the tub to make it into a pool for his tiny friend, and this time he's decided to take advantage of it himself, laying down under the surface and watching his friend swim. He sometimes wishes he could be tiny as well to swim with them for a while...

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: It's everyone's favorite time of day, bathtime! And 2 very different sized lizards, one normal sized and one very small love bathtime together, they head into the bathroom with the normal lizard carrying the smaller one on their hand, they turn on the warm water to start filling up the tub as the normal one looks over at his small lizard friend and smiles
"This should be fun yeah? Hehe"

L: The small lizard smiles back, wagging his tail some. "Yeah, this is always great!"

S: the normal size lizard wags his own tail a bit too
"It sure is! Your really fun to take a bath with! Hehe!" eventually the water in the tub fills up to the very top and the normal lizard stops the water from flowing

L: The small lizard hops onto the edge of the tub, looking down into the water. "It's kind of funny how this is practically a pool to me, meanwhile it only barely completely fits you..."

S: "Yeah... heh, I know... sometimes I was small like you so I could swim around with you in this tub..." the normal lizard slowly gets in the tub, and it barely fits his whole body as he spreads himself out
"Mmm, nice and warm..."

L: The small lizard dives into the water, swimming near to the normal lizard's head before surfacing. "Yep, it's perfect..."

S: the normal and small lizard then start to actaully wash up, then once they are done, the normal lizard just leans back against the tub and watches his small lizard friend swim around, smiling happily

L: Every now and then, the small lizard dives under for a few seconds, just happily swimming around in the bathtub.

S: "Awww..." deciding to take advantage of this, the normal lizard takes a deep breath and lowers his body underwater, laying back on the bathtub floor and continuing to watch his friend swim

L: Seeing them doing that, the small lizard dives and stays under, doing underwater laps along the length of the tub.

S: the normal lizard smiles between his puffed cheeks at the sight of it, letting some bubbles loose from his nostrils, he holds his arms out to the small lizard for a hug

L: The small lizard smiles back, and swims to the normal one to do his best to hug them in spite of the size difference.

S: the normal lizard wraps an arm around the smaller lizard, which is effective for a full hug to the smaller lizard, he deeply wishes he can actaully fully hug the smaller lizard and be tiny just like them so they can swim together, but above the surface on a nearby table something appears... a shrink ray!

L: The small lizard doesn't notice that, his eyes closed as he more just lays against the normal lizard to continue hugging them, a few bubbles floating from his nose.

S: the normal sized lizard doesn't notice it either, his own eyes closed as he too continues to hug the small lizard with his arm, letting some bubbles float from his mouth

L: After a little while, the small lizard lets go of the normal one, deciding to just sit down on their chest for a little while.

S: the normal lizard opens his eyes and smiles at the sight of it, his face blushing red already as he wasn't the greatest at holding his breath

L: The small lizard gestures up for the surface, and swims up there himself, starting to blush some as well before he catches his breath above the water.

S: the normal lizard nods and sits up, his head breaching the surface and gasping a bit as his face returns to normal colors
"Ahh...that felt refreshing... let's do-- wait, what is that?" the normal lizard notices the shrink ray and points to it

L: "I have no idea..." The small lizard climbs onto the edge of the tub to get as good a view as he can.

S: the normal lizard meanwhile climbs out of the tub, carefully making sure he doesn't accidently knock his small lizard friend into the tub, then picks up the shrink ray
"Interesting... it looks like some kind of machine... there's a button on the side of this thing that would seemingly activate it...hmm"

L: "Weird... Do you want to try it? Just be careful with it if you're gonna press anything, we don't know what that thing does..."

S: "I guess I can give it a shot... let's see..." not knowing how this thing works and not knowing he's pointing the shrink ray at himself, the normal lizard presses the button on the shrink ray, it activates and shoots the normal lizard with a beam that doesn't hurt and shrinks down in size until he's now the same exact size as the small lizard, he's now on the floor next to the tub that's now huge compared to his new tiny size
"Whoa, what just happened?!"

L: "Y-you're as small as I am! That thing's a shrink ray!" The naturally small lizard looks down at the newly-small regular lizard, stunned.

S: "What!? A shrink ray?!" since he was holding the shrink ray it shrunk down with him, then look up at naturally small lizard, stunned himself "Omg...this is...crazy!! Now I'm tiny just like you! But... H-how am I gonna get up there now!? This tub is huge compared to me!"

L: "Try messing with the shrink ray some more, there has to be a way to go back to normal... Then we can actually swim in the tub together!"

S: "Ok! Let's see...." the newly shrunk lizard tries to see if he can get back to normal, and after messing with it he presses the button again and it makes him grow back to normal!
"Ah! I got it! So you can go back to normal! Now..." he then sits down on the edge of the tub, being careful of the naturally small lizard then activates the shrink ray again, making him go back to being small, he tucks away the shrink ray and stands on the edge of the tub next to the naturally small lizard, smiling at them and waving at them too

L: "This is so cool!" The naturally small lizard hugs the newly small lizard, excited to finally give them a proper hug for the first time.

S: the newly small lizard hugs the naturally small lizard back tightly, sighing happily at them being able to give them a proper hug
"Yeah! This is great! Now we will be able to properly swim together in this tub, plus I bet there's some other cool liquids we can try going in too together! Hehe"

L: "I know, we're gonna have so much more fun together than before!"

S: "Totally! It's gonna be epic! Well, for now... we still got this warm bath water here, let's try swimming in it together!"

L: "Yep, it's already filled, may as well. Now you're gonna know what it's like to swim in something like this!" The naturally small lizard hops into the water again, holding out a hand to help his friend get in.

S: the newly small lizard smiles and takes his friend's hand and slowly gets into the water, it felt weird for him to tread water in a bathtub, looking around
"Wow, your right...with our size this does look like a pool"

L: "Plenty of room for us, yep!" The naturally small lizard does some deep breathing to prepare for a longer dive.

S: "And it actually looks deep too because of how small we are, interesting..." the newly small lizard does some deep breathing as well

L: "I think, relative to our size, it's maybe like... 15 feet or so? Definitely a pretty decent depth."

S: "Wow, 15 feet... that's quite something... let's see if we can get to the bottom"

L: "It's pretty easy to get down there, we don't really have to worry. How about we get going?"

S: "Sure, I suppose so... I need to try and improve my breath hold times, you know how bad I am at that stuff"

L: "Yep, I'll do my best to help you out with it!" The naturally small lizard takes one more breath before diving under.

S: "Thanks" the newly small lizard takes a last deep breath and holds it before diving under as well, looking around the tub at his new perspective

L: In just a few seconds, the naturally small lizard is standing on the bottom of the tub, smiling up at his friend.

S: the newly small lizard follows the naturally small lizard down and smiles back, standing next to him on the bottom of the tub

L: After giving his friend another quick hug, the naturally small lizard sits down on the bottom to save energy, motioning for the other to do the same.

S: the newly small lizard hugs his friend back, then sits down next to him on the bottom, leaning against them a bit as they try to relax, a few bubbles escaping his nostrils

L: The naturally small lizard leans against them a bit as well, waiting to see how well they do.

S: the newly small lizard pinches their nose shut as they close their eyes, bubbles escaping his mouth regardless as he's already blushing a little

L: The naturally small lizard doesn't feel any need to hold his nose, just calmly watching his friend hold their breath.

S: the newly small lizard looks at his friend with a bit of a glare, jealous on how well they are holding their breath, continuing to pinch his nose shut and trying to not let any bubbles loose, his face already blushing more red

L: The naturally small lizard gives them another hug to help them stay calm, bubbling a little as he's only just beginning to blush a little.

S: the newly small lizard uses his free arm to hug him back, grunting a little in strain as he fights to keep his breath held, moving his hand to cover his mouth too

L: As he watches them, the naturally small lizard pets his friend some, hoping that'll help as well.

S: the petting does seem to help a little, but he's still struggling a lot...his face is deeply red as he opens his eyes to look at the surface

L: Having an idea of what his friend is thinking, the naturally small lizard gestures up toward the surface, asking if they want to head back up.

S: the newly small lizard nods, he can't handle the breathless feeling anymore, and he bolts up to the surface, getting there in less then 5 seconds and gasping heavily for air

L: The naturally small lizard jumps up and surfaces as well with a much lighter gasp. "That was a pretty good amount of time!"

S: "Hah...hah...it felt like forever! I told you I suck at breath holding! I think my previous record is only 5 minutes..."

L: "Think that was fairly close to that, so good job, especially for your first time diving while tiny!"

S: "Well, thanks I guess... phew... I know i wasn't pushed to my true limit back there, but I'm still exhausted from that..."

L: "We could always just relax here for a while if you want. Or we could try out swimming in things other than water, I've never tried that 'cause I didn't want to risk you getting mad."

S: "Mad? Now why would I get mad? Honestly if I saw you swimming in something other then water, I would have just giggled and let you do it, but yeah we should totally try swimming in other things, but what is the question...gotta find a liquid in this house somewhere"

L: "Okay, good, I'll remember that... Anyway, make yourself big again and let's go find something to try swimming in!"

S: "Sounds good!" the newly small lizard takes out the shrink ray and zaps himself with it, turning back to normal, then he scoops up his tiny lizard friend to him and gets out of the tub, draining the tub before walking around the house to find something to try swimming in

L: The small lizard looks around as the two go. "Maybe, like... Honey, or soap or something..."

S: "Yeah...maybe... hmm..." the two of them look around for a while, until when the big lizard opens the fridge and finds a jar of Strawberry jelly, taking it and setting it on the table
"This looks cool to try!"

L: "That'll work, yeah! Alright, open it up and set me on the top!"

S: "Alright will do!" the back to normal lizard opens up the jar of Strawberry jelly, then carefully picks up his tiny lizard friend and sets him on top of it

L: The tiny lizard dips his feet into the jelly. "Oh wow, this is already a lot different from water..."

S: "Yeah? Hang on, I'm coming in with ya" the back to normal lizard takes out the shrink ray, then hover over the jar and blasts himself and shrink back down, managing to get onto the top of the jar, then dips his own feet into the jelly
"Whoa...this is interesting..."

L: "Yeah, it's a lot thicker than water... I bet we could run on top if we were fast enough."

S: "Heh, that might be fun to try... but I more just wanna see what's like to actually be in this jelly"

L: "So do I!" The naturally small lizard hops the rest of the way into the jelly, swimming to stay on its surface. "This is so weird!"

S: the newly small lizard does the same, swimming to stay on the surface
"It sure is, but it's pretty cool too! I like this a lot! The jelly feels pretty nice on your skin"

L: "And I bet it's gonna feel even better when we're under it!" He starts doing some deep breathing.

S: "Maybe yeah!" the newly small lizard does some deep breathing too, wondering what it's gonna be like to be under the jam

L: After a little while, the naturally small lizard gasps one more time and dives, which takes him a bit more effort than diving in water did.

S: the newly small lizard gasps in one last time and holds it before diving under as well, both of them managing to sink down under the jelly

L: The naturally small lizard looks around in the jelly, then experimentally blows a few bubbles. They float up a lot slower due to the extra density of the jelly.

S: the newly small lizard looks around as well, blowing some bubbles as well as they float very slowly upwards, then tries to swim down deeper into the jelly, loving how it feels on his skin

L: The naturally small lizard follows them down, also opening his mouth to take a couple gulps of the jelly.

S: the newly small lizard also takes a few gulps of the jelly too, it tastes really good and he sighs happily, eventually it proves it's a lot of work to move downward so he stops in the middle of the jelly jar and just floats in place, looking over at his friend and smiling with his slightly puffed cheeks, his face turning red but it's hard to tell that with the strawberry jelly around them

L: Not noticing his friend's blush, the naturally small lizard gives them a hug, his tail slowly wagging in the jelly.

S: the newly small lizard hugs his friend back, his own tail wagging slowly in the jelly, as he's not used to holding his breath in somewhere other then water, his face slowly grows more red, because they were hugging, his friend could hear a very quiet grunt of strain from the newly small lizard

L: As he hears the grunt, the naturally small lizard looks at his friend and gestures for the surface, knowing it'll take a fair bit of effort to swim back up.

S: not wanting to risk anything the newly small lizard nods and starts to swim up to the surface, covering his mouth as it takes a bit of effort to get back up, but thankfully manages to get back to the surface and gasps for air, a bit of jelly is stuck to his face as he licks it off with his tongue and giggles

L: The naturally small lizard surfaces next to them after a moment with a gasp of his own, and he happily licks the jelly off his face as well. "Mmm, it tastes so good too!"

S: "It does! This is the good kind of strawberry jelly I got! It's better then any of those knock off brands, hehe..." the newly small lizard climbs out of the jar, then takes out the shrink ray and makes himself go back to Normal, holding out his hand to the naturally small lizard and then looks at the time "Let's find something else to swim in! It's getting late tho... which means it's gonna get cold fast..."

L: "Probably just one more thing, then." The naturally small lizard hops onto his friend's hand again.

S: "Yeah... let's see..." already starting to feel the chillness of the night, the back to normal lizard walks around to find something else to swim in, then suddenly gets an idea, he goes over to heat up some left over baked potato soap he had from a restaurant he went to that fills up a bowl to the top when he pours it
"Oooh, this'll be perfect to swim in on a cold night!" he then sets the naturally small lizard on the edge of the bowl of soup

L: "Oh, this is gonna be great, yeah!" The naturally small lizard eases himself into the soup, happily sighing at how pleasantly warm it is.

S: "Wait for me!" the back to normal lizard shrinks himself back down and then slowly eases himself into the soup as well, sighing happily
"Oooh yeah...this feels amazing! It's like a hot tub!"

L: The naturally small lizard sits down to just relax for the moment, closing his eyes. "Man, we've got to do this more often... All we'd really need is a bowl like this and some water."

S: the newly small lizard sits down next to his friend and closes his own eyes as well
"Yeah for sure... we definitely need to do this more often, wow this soup feels amazing... let's go under it too, I bet I'll be even better! There's just enough room for us to submerge"

L: "Absolutely, yeah!" After some more deep breathing, the naturally small lizard lets himself sink below the surface. Sure enough, it feels even better!

S: after deeply breathing as well, the newly small lizard holds his breath and let's himself sink below as well, his eyes open in shock at how much better it is down here, noticing his friend he hugs them tightly, sighing out some bubbles at the warm feeling surrounding his body

L: The naturally small lizard hugs them back, letting loose a few bubbles of his own as he enjoys the warmth of both them and the soup.

S: the newly small lizard drinks some of the soup around them, enjoying the taste of the high quailty in them, he closes his eyes again to relax for a bit longer, but this causes him to get very sleepy, he lays down on the bottom of the bowl, his cheeks puffing up with air as he seemingly falls asleep a bit, occasionally letting small bubbles loose from his nostrils

L: The naturally small lizard drinks a little soup too, and watches his friend relax. Eventually he starts to feel a bit sleepy too, closing his eyes and laying next to his friend on the bottom.

S: the newly small lizard hugs his friend gently as they both seem to fall asleep, occasional bubbles escaping them as they rest

they keep this up for a good while, unknowingly both of them beating their breath holding record as it's been 40 minutes of them sleeping, until the newly small lizard wakes up, gurgling a bit as he badly needed air, jumping upward and gasping for breath heavily, panting as well

L: At the sounds of his friend's struggles, the naturally small lizard slowly wakes up. Not remembering he's submerged, he absentmindedly yawns, before he's jolted to awareness by the soup rushing into his mouth. He gulps it down and covers his mouth before bolting for the surface, gasping heavily.

S: "Hah....hah...W-whoa... did we just fall asleep down there?? How long were we even down there?!" he checks the time and sees it's been 40 minutes, his eyes go wide and he wags his tail happily
"Buddy...we're were asleep under the soup for 40 whole minutes!! Unbelievable!"

"I-i can't believe we were actaully under for that long! That's mind blowing!"

L: "Woah, that's incredible! But I guess we've never slept underwater before... Who would've thought it'd make THAT big of a difference!?"

S: "I know right?!?! Omg... it didn't even feel that long when I was sleeping, I guess your body just keep holding their breath even while you sleep... very interesting... wow!"

L: "And that has to have been pretty good practice, too! We might be able to hold our breath a bit longer awake now!"

S: "That's possible yeah! But let's test out that tomorrow, even tho I had a nap, I'm still pretty tired, heh..." the newly small lizard climbs out of the bowl and uses the shrink ray to go back to normal, scooping up his tiny lizard friend

L: "Yeah, that wasn't very restful, weirdly... Must have to do with holding our breath through it. A proper sleep would definitely be nice..." The small lizard sits in his friend's hand.

S: "Definitely" the back to normal lizard slowly pets his friend, then heads over the bedroom, deciding to keep his big size he gets into bed and let's his tiny friend rest on top of him, his body warm and soft compared to the bed, before tucking a blanket on them
"Well, good night my little buddy...sleep well"

L: "You too, good night!" The small lizard lays down, closing his eyes to get back to sleep again.

S: the normal lizard closes his own eyes as well and goes to sleep too, both of them sleeping very peacefully
