"LOONA!" the echo of an ally calls to her when an arrow hits a Cockapoo in his chest, causing him to fall onto the ground when more Fallen cynoea come out from the forest to shoot their arrows. The small cockapoo girl stabs Loona in the leg with her sword before getting on a friendly Tropeognathus and fleeing alone as her warband would be killed by the Dol-Amon cynoea.

She flew for an hour before making it home in the mountains of Eldinyr, Alfardyr. Bonibaria is the name of her hometown. A town built into the mountain by her forefathers long ago. Landing along the hanger made from Eldinstone. The interior houses many tropeognathus, Pterodons, and one Cryodrakon reserved for the Sky Lord of Bonbiaria.

Landing her new Tropeognathus in the hanger pen as a tall Cockapoo stood with his guards. She was walking towards her and asking if she was ok. The girl tells him yes as she walks the Polish gray stone halls with golden runic patterns and torches that lit the halls. She walks towards the Grand Hall to see her father speaking to his Hall-Karls. His lavish Alamite forge and clothed armor shine radiantly. The girl enters with a face of disappointment. His long floppy ears perk up, twisting his head to face her.

"We got reports of Laurasians battalions making their way to the mountains, we do not know their intentions, We need to get our defenses up before they arrive."

"Laurasian Pangaeans. Father I failed." The girl tells him. "Failed, what do you mean by that Skye?"

"My team died battling against the horde from Dol-Amon, We were ambushed by their scouts, and I only escaped due to my superior's flyer being alive and I took the opportunity to escape. But I failed them." Skye informs her father with frustration in her voice.

He looks her in her pink eyes and says "Then make them proud Skye. We'll mourn for them after the siege."  Her father says to her as Skye nods. "Right now I need you to lead a scout team, Delaying the reptilian imperials for as long as you can before they arrive."

"Do you think Cousin Coral will arrive from Nehekori to aid us?"

"It would be too late for them. Now go, I'll give you some troops to aid you in the skies." Her father tells her she nods and leaves the Grand Hall.

Hours later, She readies her Tropeognathus when eight more Fly Riders cockapoos join her, Mounting on their Pternodons. "Lady Skye, what says you?"

"We sabotage their war camps at night, According to Gebbi the Stoneface, They set up camp along the river Jorfel. We'll drop the rocks on their massive siege weapons and by morning we'll hit them and run." She tells her troops as they fly out from the hanger pen. Flying towards the south where the alleged war camps are held.

***********
Near the dark hours at night, Skye and her team arrive at one of the war camps set up along the Jorfel River. Dropping explosive boulders on their catapults and command tents before making their assault. Many Laurasians troops scramble to their defense positions but they're picked off from the skies by Skye and her squad. Their flying beast slashed and slaughtered these dinosaurid warriors.

"Lady Skye! Reinforcements are coming from the forest!" One of her squadmates shouts before getting shot with an arrow to her neck. "NO!" Skye shouts, seeing them fall to the ground. Skye commands her forces to retreat when she sees them die out one by one. She takes off only for one Laurasian Archer to shoot fire at her tropeognathus in the head, Sending it and the Cockapoo soring to the ground. Knocking her out.

Hours have passed and Skye awakens in a tent. She notices that she's tied to a wooden post. Her hands and ankles were tied with rope. She struggles to undo her binds when a lone Laurasian soldier enters. He was a green skin longneck, possibly related to the brachiosaurus. He wore golden armor and had golden jewelry, holding a spear with his right hand and a shield with his left hand.

"If you're going to kill me, just get it over with." the Cynoea tells her enemy. Her nose is bloody as blood drips onto her leather leggings. "That's for the General to decide." the Laurasian longneck says before falling onto his stomach, Skye sees another cynoea enters the tent. She wore mostly black clothing but could tell she was a red and white fur cynoea.

"An Eldinyr Spaniel huh, from the mountains huh?"

"Yes, I led a squad to sabotage their siege weapons when they fought back. Please set me free so that I can avenge my fallen kin so their death isn't in vain." Skye pleads with the stranger, she takes the knife out from the neck of the Laurasian trooper and frees her. "Who are you by the way?" Skye asks about the identity of the figure.

"Wendy of the Mazkagale Militia." The figure identified herself before exiting the tent. Skye follows her out of the tent. Meeting up with her and asking for aid against the Laurasian forces.  "Let's discuss this when we leave the war camp." the Wolf quietly suggests as they sneak around the war camp, Silently killing off Laurasian troops that were patrolling the war camp. On their way to find an exit, Skye asks her if she has any bottle of poison. Wendy inquires a question when Skye advocates they should poison their water bins.

"It would delay their advances and give my clan some time to prepare for their assault."

"So you know that your clan isn't the only one being attacked here," Wendy informs her that her clan is also endangered of a attack from the Laurasian horde. "I get that we barely just met tonight but you're clan is welcome to make an alliance with the Bonibaria Clan."

"We'll see but for now if we are to poison their water supplies, we need to find their water storages and I think we should also poison their beast of burden." Wendy reached for her pouch on her left hip to show Skye a few glassed bottles filled with poison. She keeps three for herself and gives Skye two.

"You go poison their water supplies and I'll go put their pets to sleep." the Wolf whispered as they went their separate ways.

Skye sneaks around towards a large wooden cistern. She pass by the guards to pour the posion inside the large pine wooden cistern before opening the nearby clay pots that also stored water.

She also took the time to enter their command camp to poison their general's water supplies when she also came across their war plans written on a whither scroll. She picks it up and places it in her vest. Sneaking out from the massive white and yellow tent.

Wendy assassinated patrolling soldiers and hid their bodies from plain sight. She walks further to see the animal pen where the Laurasian forces kept their war beast. Various types of hissing Riptordons in their steel cages, Triceratops donning golden armor plates with Laurasian insignias, and even a massive orange and yellow-skinned Saurolophus reserve for the general by the amount of gold plated armor and the decorative saddle it had on its back.
But regardless, Wendy takes out her bottle of poison, Silently pouring in their wooden trouts. She finishes her job when she hears loud footsteps from the left, twisting her neck to see a massive Triceran walking towards her direction. Thinking fast, she took out a poison dart from her pouch. "Tei'saw!" The brown-skinned Triceran shouts at the Riptordons before walking back from where he came from.

Wendy peeks out to see some Pteranodons in their pens. Tied down rope to prevent them from flying off, Wendy goes off to meet with Skye who waits for her at the exit. "While Poisoning their beast, I saw some of their flying beasts we can use to leave. Get back to your mountain hold while I return to my village to prepare for war.
"Well, right," Skye says as they make their way toward the Pteranodon pens. Setting loose two Pteranodons and poisoning the others. "Intruders!" they hear shouting. Skye twisted her head towards the left to see a Laurasian spotting them. They hop on their flyers and escape. "You go prepare for the siege, May the gods protect you." Wendy gives her farewell to Skye as they fly their separate ways.

By morning, Skye arrives at her home to see many of it fortified with archers. Large artillery was set up and hundreds of Bonibarian warriors prepared for war. Skye lands her pteranodon in the hanger pen and rushes towards the grand hall to see her father gearing up for battle. Donning ancient Cockapoo armor and gripping his great sword Thul'odiun. An elegant greatsword made during the era of dawn.

Skye takes out the scroll from her leather vest and shows it to her father who grabs it from her hands and reads it. "They know more about these mountains than we thought. They are in search of the eyes in the Mountains."

"Aren't they dead since the era of Dawn?"

"That's only a rumor, they are peacekeeper that used to dwell between Eldinyr and Alfardyr and for them to begin their search they must pass through Eldinyr first. That's the reason for their planned siege but regardless Skye I need you to lead a squad of flyers to break their ranks when they arrive."

Skye informs him that she and an ally poison their water supplies and war beast in hopes of buying more time for preparations. "Then we strike them at their camps."

Her father orders his generals to rally the troops and they take off immediately. "Father, what about mother?"

"You're mother will be ok. I still need you to lead a squad in the skies, I'll lead them on the ground. We'll follow you on foot."

*******
The next day arrives and piles of dead Laurasian troops are put in a trench hole while their dead war beast were burned. One Laurasian soldier who standing on a walkway at the gate when he saw a flock of Pteranodons holding chains with their clawed feet.

He warns of the incoming attack as archers get into defensive positions and take aim at these flying beasts. Shooting their arrows at them when they see them letting go of those giant stoned boulders. They jump off the walkway before the boulders make an impact and destroy it.

Any surviving Laurasian troops got up weakly as they saw Eldinyr cynoeas charging from the forest in waves and at that point, the Laurasians fought back. Archers shoot at both the Pterosaurs and the Cynoea infantry while the troops try to push back the attackers. Swords clashes with shields and shouting made up the majority of the noise. Skye takes out her bow and arrows to shoot at the Laurasian archers from the sky, picking off the Saurian defenders as they defend their destroyed gate.

Skye locates the command tent and flies towards it to destroy it. Upon destroying it, her pteranodon takes an arrow to the neck, Panicking to the point of knocking Skye off of her saddle. She dangles from the rope she was tied to but she manages to take it off just as her mount falls to the ground. It took her a moment before she got up, taking her sword out of its scrabble and engaging in combat against any Laurasian warrior.  Those to attempted to fight her would taste her sword. She slashes and stabs her way toward her father as he and his troops burn their tents and crops.

Skye helps her father burn more crops when a scout reports Laurasian reinforcements. Skye runs east of the war camp to see waves of Laurasian troops and their beast of wars. Many riptordon cavalry charge from the left flank of the camp and battalions of Troops and commanders riding on their Saurolophus and Parasaurolophus.

"Heave Warriors, The gods watch us from the stars and shall grant those who die in battle passage to Valhǫll. Let's remember this day by song! FOR VALHOLL!" Skye's father shouts as his troops howl for battle. Standing vigilant against the Imperial horde. Stay raise their weapons high.

Yet out from the woods came a hail of arrows from the north side. While the Saurian troops raise their shields to deflect the arrows. Their cavalry weren't lucky and at least half of them were killed off.

Howling echos from the woods as waves and waves of Red and white fur cynoeas charge from the north. Skye sees Wendy on a large Oxalaia with insignias related to her clan. Skye looks forward and with both her clan and Wendy's clan they combine forces to fight against the laurasian legions.

*****
The fight ended in a pyrrhic victory. Hundreds of Dead cynoeas and Pangaeans litter the blood-soaked ground near the river. Wendy and her remaining force buried their dead before they left for their home. Skye, her father, and what remains of their warriors would also bury their dead as they prayed for their fallen to walk the rainbow bridge to Valhǫll.

No songs were sung but no tears were shed either. Nothing but silence looms over them as they finish burying their dead. They would make camp for the night after they removed the dead Laurasian troops to a burning pit.

Skye looks upwards to the evening sky. Thanking the gods she survives this ordeal before going to help her kin rest their dead.
