My intention with this was indeed on the cute & wholesome side. I'm thrilled it has turned out so wonderfully!
The adult wolf character is named Rook, and it's very nuzzle and cuddly. Such as this one, which might be one of my all time favourite commissions.

He is acting fatherly towards the mouse girl Lucy here.
