"15 hours ago my unity was activated to investigate a containment breach at Site-78, there was no direct call for help from any of the site employees, we were notified of the breach by the automated systems of the instalation, as we arrived on the site its blast doors were wide open and the entrance littered with severely mangled corpses, I sent 2 kill teams inside to find if whatever made that mess was still inside, the interior of the instalation was clear, dead silent and littered with remains of the crew, I contacted high comand to explain the situation and they gave me clearance to know what was happening on Site-78, this instalation was tasked with the goal of creating some sort of "hunter bioweapon" a creature tailor made to infiltrate and eliminate targets, aparently this order came from the very gabinet of the president and was only known by a handful of top officials in the ministry of defense, regardless of the initial sigil, now this creature was on the loose and became a massive issue of national security.
I'm part of branch of the federal secret police called "Night Sweepers" our unity is responsible to for cleaning the "mishaps" the government and the military commits, I'm no stranger to hunting down products of secret labs...but this creature is something totally different, I spent some times hearing and analizing the research logs left by doctor Bernard as my teams scoured the forest looking for the creature...this thing is a nightmare made manifest, from its phisical capabilities to its mind control powers...its a perfect killing machine...and worst of all this thing is inteligent.
After hours following tracks we found the another victim of the creature, a unfortunate hunter who met the creature in the midst of the woods, he got chance to fire a single shot before the creature ripped his body to shreds not even his dogs were spared,juding by the stench of the body he was dead for more than 12 hours, we were much behind the creature we had to acelerate up the pace, we continued following the trail until we reached the small town of Flat Rock, the entire town was unquiet, a series of strange happenings occured in the last hours, the townsfolk were all over the streets frantically trying to understand the situation while police patrolled everywhere,I went straight to the sheriff's office to gather information, the sheriff informed us about a gruesome massacre in a bar that happened during last night, we went to the mentioned place only to find it in the same state of the instalation, the inside of the bar and the parking lot where covered in mangled bodies, but this time we had an eye witness, a waitress who survived the attack, she was extremely traumatized by the attack but she was able to describe that during the time of the attack the bar was filled by a group of bikers who picked up a fight with a large figure in the parking lot, she described the figure as a large shadow with five glowing yellow eyes, as the bikers tried to attack it released a loud buzzing noise that exploded the skulls of everyone in the parking lot, and immediately after the figure ripped the remaining survivors with its claws and left, this was clearly our creature, and now we are aware it has some sort of psychic attack that can kill a large group of people.
Following the timeline of events, the containment breach happened around 9pm, and the bar attack happened during the small hours of the night, the creature could still be around, we kept scouring the town looking for clues , we stumbled upon a terrified couple saying their small daughter saw and interacted with a terryfing creature, I have no talent to deal with children but I was able to interogate the small girl in a soothing way and she gave us some intriguing information, she said her "big friend" came during the morning and participated of her tea party, they had a long conversation about unicorns and princesses, after that she said goodbye and left...the same creature that butchered more than 100 people in the last 12 hours just sat down to have a tea party with a 6 year old child...it was hard to belive but the evidence were strong and the girl had no reason to lie, the trail was geting fresher the creature could still be inside the town...
As my teams continued the hunt I continued studying the logs left by doctor Bernard, at this point I discovered he was the traitor, he allowed the creature to escape in a twisted plot of murder suicide, this was important to know but of little difference right now, I was more interested in the behavioral logs about the creature, I wanted to understand what this thing wants, the doctor described the creature as curious and docile when not startled, he described being able to enter its cell multiple times in the past, but also described an accident where a janitor aciddentaly entered the cell and was dilacerated...this made me terribly confused, what are the standarts of this creature? my reserach was interruped by one of my teams reporting a recent sight of the creature, we rushed to the location and found a furious pregnant mother with a shotgun in hand and her face covered by monstrous saliva.
Took me few minutes and a little threat arrest to calm her down, when calm she described the encounter, she said the creature came out from the woods while she was filling her clothline, the creature tried to approach her slowly but she retreated inside and grabed a pump action shotgun, she fired a total of six shots at point blank range on the creature with no effect, after that the creature grabbed the mother with a single hand and sniffed her,licking her face with its giant tongue after, following that the creature lost in interest and left the angry mother behind unharmed, as I registered this on my investigation log I reached a conclusion that perhaps the creature is not nescessarily bloodthirsty, it is just trying to make sense of this world trough its primitive senses and limited knowledge,but it only makes her unpredictable and even more dangerous.
While I finished transmitting my findings to high command we received a radio call from the local police asking for backup, the sheriff cornered the creature in a nearby barn and was ready to storm it, I ordered him to hold his position and wait for my teams to arrive, we darted to the location with our convoy but it was too late...the sheriff tried to be a hero and stormed the barn with his men, now whe had a barn full of dead cops and the creature escaped again...I ordered the teams to sweep the area, the creature could still be around, I went back to my truck to grab a larger rifle, in this moment I felt a massive presence behind me, large nostrils breathing on my neck, I slowly turned around and I could see a distortion in the light...the creature was invisible facing me.
I tried to reach for my pistol, but my muscles became hard and my joints immovable, the creature made itself visible to me, I was terrified and fascinated, it was enormous and pitch black, shapped like a woman but imensely muscular and covered in a soft metal like carapace, I could only behold the creature as it held me hostage with its powers, once it finished analyzing me it licked my face with its enormous and digusting tongue then its central fifith eye released a bright flash dropping me unconscious, I woke up several hours later and it was already night, I asked the teams if there was any occurances in the meantime but the town was silent, no one saw the creature again.
At this point I was fearing the creature could have left the town, so we went to the only gas station on the city exit to look for clues, the place was enormous and unfit for such a small city, it was meant to refuel the road trains that cross that roadway going to the capital, as we arrived in the place I noticed a commotion inside a restaurant, the chef was over the counter terrified of something, I poked him around for answers and he told me something was controling his mind, I asked for details and he told me something came from the backdoor of the reastaurant, a large figure with five yellow eyes, he described a yellow flash and then he lost control over his body, he was forced to cook a massive pot of gumbo stew as the creature watched carefully, once the meal was done the creature consumed it in a fell swoop and straight from the pot, vanishing immediately after that.
This was another odd move of the creature, why bother to force someone to cook to her when she was more than comfortable in consuming the raw flesh of its victims? this in part was good because it meant it was capable of understanding mundane food and food preparation, so it was less likely to attack someone for food in the future, but still was strange, we continued the sweep on the gas station interrogating all the employees, after that I went for the security cameras just to see if any of them had caught the creature, and as I feared, I found footage of the creature hopping in a road train as it departed four hours ago , my conversation with the chef gave me impression his mind control incident had just happened but he was also confused and shocked, it was happend several hours ago and the creature was already hours ahead of us in the road, by my calculations it would reach the capital in less than two hours more...my worst nightmare was concreatized itself, hunt this monster in the concrete jungle will not be an easy task..." (???)
Imagine, you are already busy with your house chores, heavy with multiple babies in your womb, then a stupid lab made murder machine has the audacity of interrupt your job to lick your face with its stinky tongue :U
