S: It's nighttime, and things aren't looking good for a certain pokemon named riolu, they were framed! Somebody set up a trick! Now the riolu was convicted of a crime that they didn't committ, they are now being taken by boat over towards a jail facility, however the riolu is strapped down in a chair unable to move, nobody seemed to be around for the moment... that'll soon change tho as something will go wrong soon...
L: The riolu struggles in his binds, whining a little as he fruitlessly tries to get loose. He knows it's certainly unlikely he'll be able to free himself, but he feels it's the only chance he has.
S: suddenly the boat starts tilting around, and somebody seems to be yelling and the riolu could hear it
"Abandon ship! ADANDON SHIP!!!!" water starts to leak through some of the cracks in the room
L: Fear rapidly fills him as he realizes the ship is sinking, and that he might get left behind in it! "MMM! MMMMM!!!" He makes as much noise as he can, desperate for anyone to hear him.
S: nobody seems to hear him...at first, somebody opens the door that's not part of any of the bad guys crew, an inteleon
"Hah...hah...finally! I made it!" the inteleon looks at the riolu "Are you ok?!"
L: "Mm, mmm!" The riolu's fear fades just a little from not recognizing the inteleon from when he was captured. What tiny bit he can, he shakes his head.
S: this inteleon was special, because it the riolu's long lost best friend from many years ago, when they thought they got separated for good, the inteleon's got a little mark on its tail to show that, however since the riolu was still so scared they didn't notice
"Omg.... this is bad, don't worry bud, I'm gonna get you out, just as long as the--" water suddenly gushes into the room, knocking inteleon off their feet
"Ahh! Water!"
L: The riolu's head is knocked loose from its bindings by the rush of water, though the rest of him is still bound in place. Thankfully, the chair doesn't topple over. "O-oh no, that's so much water!"
S: the rush of water knocks the door shut behind them, the inteleon whimpers as the water is already halfway full
"This isn't good... pretty soon we're gonna have to be underwater! And I'm sure you don't want that!"
L: "N-no, water really freaks me out, I don't want to have to swim! I'm not that good at it!"
S: "I know I know!" the inteleon goes over to be closer to the riolu "But I don't think we have a choice, the water is filling up the room so fast!" it is indeed as the water seems like it's gonna be fill the whole room soon!
L: "I-I'm at least decent at holding my breath... O-oh man, we're probably gonna have to go really far..." The riolu starts taking deep breaths.
S: "W-who knows how long this will take if the boat is at the bottom of the ocean! I just hope there's an air pocket in here, I may be a water type but I don't have gills!" the inteleon takes some deep breathes along side the riolu, while also trying to tug him loose of his binds so he move freely again, the water is at the riolu's neck, threatening to submerge him first
L: "H-hurry!" The riolu tilts his head back to keep breathing for as long as he can, before he has no choice any more and holds his breath as the water goes above his mouth and nose.
S: "Oh no!" the inteleon keeps trying to untie the binds, stretching his head to stay above the rushing water, but finally gets the riolu free, there's still some air left at the top but it won't last forever
L: The riolu quickly swims up to what air is left, gasping and resuming his deep breathing. "Th-thanks... B-but this isn't a whole lot better..."
S: "I'll be ok! I promise! I will protect you no matter what" the inteleon gives the riolu a hug, taking some deep breathes as the water slowly starts to fill up towards the ceiling, during that hug however that's when the riolu notices the mark on the inteleon's tail, and the way the inteleon hugged the riolu was very familiar to him
L: "W-wait, the mark on your tail... O-oh my god, it's you!" The riolu's fear fades quite a bit as he finally recognizes the inteleon, wagging his tail some.
S: "Yes buddy! It's me! After so many years...I was hoping you would recognize me!" the inteleon gives the riolu biggest hug he could do, smiling and wagging his own tail a little, but the reunion is cut short as the water is dangerously close to the ceiling
L: "I can't believe you found me, I thought I was done for!" In the last chance he has, the riolu takes the deepest breath he can and holds it.
S: "I'll explain how I found you later..." the inteleon holds the riolu close as he too takes the deepest breath he can and holds it just before the water reaches the ceiling, submerging the two underneath
L: Even with his best friend with him, the riolu is still a little nervous about being underwater. He holds onto the inteleon, trusting them to be able to get him to more air.
S: the inteleon looks down at his riolu best friend and tries to give them a reassuring smile, deep down tho he's just as nervous as the riolu. As he swims over to the door...thankfully now that the pressure is equalized the door is able to open more easily, he looks around the hallway then slowly exits the room
L: The riolu whines a little as he looks around, having no idea where any air might be and hardly even knowing the way back outside.
S: luckily, it doesn't take long for the two to find a big air pocket space that hasn't been filled up with water, the inteleon smiles at it and goes up, taking the riolu with them as he lightly gasps for breath, there's even a ledge above the water big enough for the two of them as the inteleon pulls himself up
L: The riolu gasps as well, sitting down on the ledge. "Okay, this is a lot better than nothing at least..."
S: "Yeah, thankfully this ledge is here..." the inteleon sits down next to the riolu and wraps an arm around them "Now we have some time to talk before we...well, go back down there... ugh..."
L: "So, how did you know I was out here? I didn't think anyone knew about this whole thing..."
S: "Well, I noticed a wanted poster of you while wondering around town and I immediately recognized you, I thought this was some kind of mistake because you would never do something that breaks the rules, your really kind and cute... so I tracked down your location on this boat and well here we are...I really thought I was never gonna see you again..."
L: "I didn't think I'd see you again either! And whatever that poster said, I didn't do it, someone framed me!"
S: "What?! Somebody framed you?? Who would do such a thing??? I'm so sorry buddy! You don't deserve any of this bad treatment..."
L: "I don't know who it was, b-but I was gonna be put in jail for something they did, and I probably never would've come back..." The riolu hugs the inteleon.
S: "Oh riolu... I know you very well and you wouldn't survive a minute in jail..." the inteleon tears up and hugs the riolu back tight, even uses his tail to hug him
L: "I-I really wouldn't..." The riolu starts to cry a little as well.
S: "My poor buddy... you've been through quite a lot huh? I'll make sure when we escape that we never ever separate from each other again!"
L: "A-and we need to figure out who did all this, too... I'm not really gonna feel safe until we clear my name..."
S: "Good point, whoever did this to you is gonna get in even more trouble then you were in! And ill make sure of it!"
L: "Thanks..." The riolu looks down at the water and sighs. "We should probably keep going, the air in here won't last forever..."
S: the inteleon looks down too and sighs
"Your probably right, as much I don't want you to suffer underwater...and plus I don't have gills or anything, ugh! I feel like all water types should have gills or something..."
L: "You can probably hold your breath longer than I can, at least. Heh, maybe if you ever meet Kyogre, you could ask them if they can give you gills..."
S: "I read that even kygore doesn't have gills so I doubt he could do that honestly, heh" the inteleon despite being a water type was pretty nervous about submerging and drowning, just as much as the riolu was
L: "Maybe not, I'm not all that familiar with them..." The riolu idly kicks his feet in the water, trying to build up the courage to go back under.
S: the inteleon also idly kicks his own feet in the water, trying to be confident themselves
"Well, as long as we are together then nothing will stand in our way"
L: "Yeah! Now that I really think about it... Don't have a whole lot of reason to be scared of water if I've got a water type with me, right?
S: "Exactly buddy! I promise I'll protect you if anything goes wrong, I know it won't be easy for either of us but I know we can escape this place, and once we do we'll find out who did this to you and give them a taste of their own medicine!"
L: "Alright, I think I'm ready to do this... I'm still gonna hold you during it though, if that's okay." The riolu starts breathing deeply again.
S: "Awww of course bud, I know your bad at swimming, and I'll try and get us outta here alright?" the inteleon smiles and starts breathing deeply too
"I know you can do this!"
L: The riolu smiles at the inteleon, and eventually gasps one last time and holds his breath, holding onto the inteleon at the same time.
S: the inteleon makes sure the riolu has a good grip on him before gasping one more time and holding his breath too, jumping off of the ledge and letting himself sink back underwater to the hallways
L: Submerged again, the riolu does feel a little more nervous... But, trusting his friend, he does his best to stay calm.
S: the inteleon looks back at the riolu with a smile, petting their head as he swims around the hallways to try and find a way out... by now tho the boat sunk to the bottom of the ocean, its all pitch black and hard to see, but they can at least see each other, of course deep inside the inteleon he's very much nervous about this situation and how he will make sure to protect the riolu with his life
L: The darkness certainly isn't helping the riolu's nerves, but the petting is, and he keeps looking around in case he happens to see a promising route the inteleon doesn't.
S: the inteleon moves his hand down to gently pet the riolu's back, rubbing it in a soothing way to try and help calm the riolu down further while kicking himself further into the boat's hallways, trying to make out a path as he swims in a different direction this time, this boat was massive so there are lots of options and paths to choose from
L: The riolu does slowly relax a bit more, but still not seeing any way to get out or breathe, he's just getting nervous again anyway. "Mmmh..."
S: "Reblax...it's okbl..." for being a water type, the inteleon can speak pretty clearly underwater, trying everything to keep his own composure so the riolu won't get scared, bubbles escaping his mouth as he spoke
L: The riolu nods... Then, he thinks he sees a slightly brighter section of the hall, and points to it. "Thbl-thblat miblght ble abl wably oublt!"
S: "Oh? Ok! Leblts go checblk!" the inteleon swims over to the brighter section of the hall, hoping that's the way to go and it's not some kind of trap
L: When they get there, they can see that the light is coming from a fairly small hole in the ceiling. It's big enough that it looks like there's a chance they can squeeze through...
S: "Looks likble a tight fitbl... but it mablybe oblur only chanblce to escblape..." the inteleon looks a bit intimidated by the small hole and hates squeezing into tight spaces like that
L: "Ibl-Ibl'll trbly fiblrst..." Clearly not being a fan of tight spaces either, the riolu hesitantly pulls himself into the opening, a blush forming on his face as he tries to get through.
S: the inteleon from below watches the riolu try to fit inside the opening, hoping he's able to fit inside...he let's some bubbles loose as well
L: It takes some struggling, and the riolu briefly worries he's going to get stuck... But, eventually, he pops out of the other side, smiling and looking down at the inteleon!
S: "You mablde it!! Good job rbliolu! Now...for mble..." the inteleon looks at the tight space, swimming up to it...but he's very hesitant about trying to fit inside, looking up worringly at the riolu
"I-i don't know if I cabln do thblis!"
L: "Yeblah, yoblu're biblggeblr thblan mble... Bublt yoblu shbloulbld ablt leblast trbly, I'lbl publl yoblu!"
S: "O-ok..." the inteleon shuts his eyes and squeezes through the tiny hole, whimpering as he struggles his way in it, reaching up with his arm to hopefully grab the riolu's own arm to get pulled up...his face a slight red
L: The riolu reaches down and grabs their arm, planting his paws against the floor and doing his best to pull the inteleon up.
S: the inteleon yelps a bit, causing bubbles to escape him, but after a tight pull he finally pops up to the other side!
"Owwwbl...that was sucblh a tighblt squbleeze..."
L: "Noblw wble cabln jublst swblim ublp, thblougblh! Mmm..." All the talking and exertion has used up a good portion of the riolu's breath, and he covers his mouth for a moment, his face fully red.
S: the inteleon notices this and gets scared for the riolu
"Uh oh, yoblu neebld aiblr!" the inteleon's own face is now red enough that's it's visible, but he tries to hide his own need for it
"There's gblotta be anblother air pocket somewhblere!"
L: The riolu nods, and he awkwardly swims for a moment before remembering to hold onto the inteleon, which he does.
S: as the inteleon swims forward through the new area, they come across another air pocket! But this one is smaller then the last one...still it's just enough for both of them and the inteleon hurriedly swims up to it and gasps for air, a bit more then last time
L: Swimming to it as well, the riolu also gasps. "W-we have to be getting close to the outside now..."
S: "Yeah, that's what I hope... but I don't know, even I'm starting to get nervous... what if this is the last air pocket we have till the real surface?!"
L: "I think we might still be able to make it... It's not like we have any other choice, we have to try..."
S: "Aw man...I know I'm supposed to not worry you but now, I'm worring myself!" the inteleon looks at the riolu worringly
L: "I know, I've been able to tell... All we can really do is just hope for the best here..." The riolu hugs the inteleon.
S: the inteleon hugs the riolu back, still frightened
"I-i guess your right..."
L: "Just think about how we're gonna get revenge on whoever forced us to go through this... We can't just let them get away with it."
S: "Hehe, good point...I definitely would love to get some sweet revenge on whoever did this, I bet I'll feel sooo good!"
L: "And we can't do that from in here... So we'd better get going, as kinda nervous as I still am..." The riolu starts getting ready for another dive.
S: "As much as i would love to stay in this air pocket, your right...we better go" the inteleon prepares for another dive as well, mentally and physically
L: Like before, the riolu eventually holds onto both the inteleon and his breath, ready to go underwater again.
S: the inteleon was a little hesitant at first to go back down, but knowing the riolu is already holding his breath, he takes a deep breath and holds his own breath and plunges back underwater, hoping it won't be long before either another air pocket is found or they finally escape this boat
L: The riolu is at least feeling a little better than before, now that there's more light around, but he's of course still worried about potentially drowning.
S: the inteleon is worried about drowning too, but tries to keep that in the back of his mind as he swims forward in the new hallway, but little do they know...a new challenge will approach them soon...
L: As much as he wishes he could give any kind of guidance, this is a section of the ship the riolu doesn't recognize. Regardless, he keeps looking around for anything promising...
S: the inteleon also looks around, suddenly the boat starts to tilt around again, it was apparently on the edge of a cliff at the bottom of the ocean, and now it starts to sink down even further, dragging our two friends down even further...while they tumble around inside the boat
L: "MMMM!" The riolu does his best to hold onto the inteleon and not scream, shutting his eyes in fear and hoping he isn't slammed into anything.
S: "Whoaaaablblbl!!!!!" the inteleon shuts their own eyes in fear, pretty soon there's an audible thud as the boat sunk to the darkest depths of the ocean, which also caused the duo to slam into the wall, causing air to escape them
"Owwwwblblblbl!!!!!"
on the plus side, they are close to an opening that leads them out of the boat, however there's now no more air pockets in the boat
L: "Ablablablabl!" The riolu quickly covers his mouth after his air is knocked out of him, and he nervously looks over at the inteleon to make sure they're okay.
S: the inteleon seems ok, rubbing the back of his head to ease some pain, then he looks at the riolu
"You alrightbl? Mmmm!!" the inteleon covers his mouth too, his face red again as a lot of air was knocked out of him
L: The riolu nods, since the only issue he's having is that he's now lacking quite a bit of the air he had, his own face red as well.
S: the inteleon is now more scared then ever as now both of them are low on air, but caring about his friend and knowing he can still last longer, the inteleon points to his mouth, asking if the riolu if he wants some of his air
"Mmm?"
L: With another nod, the riolu approaches the inteleon for an air kiss.
S: the inteleon is a bit hesitant as he's never gave an air kiss to his best friend before, but he complys, uncovering his and the riolu's mouth and pressing his lips to the riolu, blowing air into him
L: It definitely feels weird to the riolu, kissing his best friend like this... But, it's worth it to get a chance to breathe, his strained blush fading some.
S: the inteleon warms up to it a bit, hugging the riolu while transferring air to him, finally he pulls away, his own blush reddening more
L: With the air transfer done, the riolu nods and holds onto the inteleon, ready to get going again.
S: the inteleon nods back and swims off, soon the two of them reaching the hole to the outside! The inteleon's tail happily wags as he speeds through it, however frowns when he looks up, the surface is nowhere to be found and it's pitch black, you can't see it but he's tearing up as there doesn't seem to be hope that they will both make it in time
L: The riolu looks around, almost unable to see at all... He whines a little, and taps the inteleon to remind them to keep swimming up.
S: but the inteleon was so shook up by how deep they are they don't move, too scared
L: "Mmm!" The riolu taps on the inteleon a few more times, worrying he's going to have to swim up on his own.
S: "I'm sorrbly bud... thablts just a long wably up.... I'm scablred we wonblt make itbl"
L: "Wble deblfinblitebly wobln't iblf wble jublst stblay hblere!" Even though he knows the odds are against him, the riolu lets go of the inteleon and tries to swim on his own, going pretty slow.
S: "Hey! Yblou knblow yourbl a babld swimmbler!" the inteleon swims up to grab the riolu and put him back on his back "I-illbl jublst swim ublp ok??" the inteleon proceeds to swim up much faster
L: The riolu nods, and holds onto the inteleon, hoping their speed will be enough to get them both to the surface in time.
S: the inteleon's face is fully red and he whines a little as his air slowly deplates more, he goes to pinch his nose shut, but stops because it'll just slow them down, continuing to ignore his strain and swim up, bubbles constantly escaping his nostrils
L: Soon, the riolu's face is fully red again as well, and he holds the inteleon's nose for them while pressing his own against them to do the same for himself while still holding on.
S: the inteleon smiles at the riolu's help and continues to swim up, they aren't even halfway up and it's still pitch black around them... but with the inteleon's current speed they are slowly making progress...
L: The riolu whines, not even entirely sure whether the two are actually going up or not... But, without any other option, he keeps holding on, little bubbles leaving him despite his efforts.
S: little bubbles escape the inteleon's mouth, trying to swim up even faster, but soon enough the energy in his swimming is making his face turn bluer then normal, having to stop and put a hand over his mouth, whining loudly
L: The riolu barely even notices, shivering a little bit as his own face starts to tint a little extra blue too...
S: now noticing he stopped, the inteleon frantically kicks his legs to start swimming again, going as fast as he can, he's hoping there's some air bubbles possibly nearby
L: There's certainly a chance of that, the air remaining in the ship having been knocked loose when it fell from the cliff... Before too much longer, the inteleon's head bumps against something soft. An air bubble!
S: the inteleon looks up and almost gasps in shock at what he saw
"An aiblr bubblble!!" this bubble was quite large too, it seems like it could easily refill both the inteleon and riolu's lungs
L: "MM!" The riolu excitedly pushes off from the inteleon's back, grabbing onto the bubble and pressing his lips to it to gasp.
S: "Hey heybl hey! Savble some foblr me!!" the inteleon look up at the riolu, hoping he won't inhale the whole bubble
L: It does shrink a fair bit, but once the riolu's satisfied, there's still plenty left for the inteleon to breathe as well. The riolu smiles at them, not even blushing any more.
S: the inteleon smiles back and presses his own lips to the bubble and inhales the rest of it, both of their faces now back to normal
"Ahhbl...much bettbler... let's keep goinblg" he gestures for the riolu to hop back on them so they can continue forward
L: The riolu nods, holding onto the inteleon again. He feels much better about the odds of both of them reaching the surface now.
S: with a new burst of energy the inteleon swims up faster then ever, in fact so fast they get halfway up and light is finally and slowly becoming visible
L: "Mmm!" The riolu wags his tail as things finally start to light up some, knowing it won't be a whole lot longer from here.
S: "Werble getting there!" the inteleon's tail also wags as light was finally visible, continuing to swim up quickly, but not going too fast so the riolu could still hold on
L: The riolu is smiling now, eager to finally get some actually fresh air in him after so long underwater.
S: the inteleon is also very much looking forward to getting fresh air himself, light slowly becomes brighter and brighter, soon the two of them are just a few dozen feet from the surface, the inteleon's tail giving a constant wag as he knows they will get that fresh air soon enough
L: The riolu happily blows a few bubbles, wagging his tail alongside the inteleon and watching the surface get closer.
S: the inteleon happily let's some bubbles out from his own mouth, and finally with one final brust of energy, our duo finally surfaces on the real surface and not in some air pocket...the inteleon happily gasps in the fresh air, tearing up happily
"W-we made it!!!! WE MADE IT!!!!!"
L: With a happy gasp of his own, the riolu hugs the inteleon. "Th-there was a little while where I really didn't think we'd make it... But we did!"
S: the inteleon happily hugs the riolu back, continuing to wag his tail
"I honestly thought the same thing, but we did managed to get outta there! We didn't drown!!!"
L: The riolu looks around after the hug. "Now we have to get back to land... Um..." He doesn't seem to see anything around...
S: the inteleon looks around too
"Oh boy...I think we're in the middle of the ocean! There's no land in sight! Guess we'll have to pick a direction and swim there...least we're gonna be above water!"
"My biggest worry is I hope we don't get so tired that we sink back under, heh..."
L: "Y-yeah, we're probably gonna have to go pretty far... Glad you're here for this, if I'd gotten this far alone I would've been terrified..."
S: "Hey, no worries buddy... you can continue to hold onto me as you wish, so that way you don't get tired"
L: "Yep, thanks... Guess we may as well get going. Hopefully we'll find at least SOMETHING..."
S: "Yeah, me too bud..." the inteleon then swims off on the surface in a random direction, hoping to find land soon
L: The riolu tries to relax on their back, keeping a lookout for anything other than water.
S: It's seems like endless ocean for these two, nothing but water... but just when they lost hope, they spot a piece of land!
"There! I see something!"
L: "O-oh, finally! I was starting to think we were just stuck out here..."
S: "I was too... but thank goodness we're not!" the inteleon swims a bit faster towards the land, with his incredible speed he gets there rather quickly, finally able to step on dry land...and little do they know, the 2 folks who set up the trick to the riolu are somewhere around here
L: The riolu finally lets go of the inteleon to stand, sighing in relief as he looks around. "No idea where we are, but this is still way better!"
S: "Oh totally! Now... we gotta get payback on whoever did this to you...lemme ask you this bud, do you have any idea on who they could be? Like did you see any details about them?"
L: "They were a salazzle, and, um... I'm pretty sure they had a scar on one of their arms as well. A fairly obvious one."
S: "Hmm, ok...so I guess we'll have to keep an eye out for a salazzle and one with a scar... come...let's do so searching*
meanwhile some distance away, the salazzle the riolu mentioned and the other one with a scar, which was an umbreon, were talking to each other about their "successful" capture of riolu
Umbreon - "Ha! We really showed that riolu what was up! That was such a great plan you had back there!"
L: Salazzle: "Kind of can't believe even sinking the ship worked so well! Now we're the only people in the world that know about all this!"
S: "Yeah! That riolu is history now! He's probably drowned by now, I heard he's a bad swimmer so there was NO chance he will make it out! Hahaha!!!😈"
L: "And we're just free to go, with everything put on him instead...~ We might still want to lay low for a little while though, just to be sure."
S: "Good idea... even tho I'm pretty positive that nothing will happen to us"
L: "Probably, yeah, but still. Just being safe. Besides, this is a nice island, and I kinda want to stick around and check it out for a while."
S: "Yeah, good point...let's just explore around this island for a bit and see if we find anything interesting"
and little do they know, they will find something interesting soon...
L: The salazzle wanders the island with the umbreon for a while. "Ha, can you imagine if we happened to find treasure here? With how lucky we've been, I wouldn't doubt it..."
S: "Omg that would be awesome! I hope we do find treasure!" as they walk around, the umbreon pauses "Wait..." he looks in a specific direction and finds the inteleon and riolu just 10 feet away from them
"...no way... dude look at this..."
L: Salazzle: "What's up?" She looks over, and immediately stops, stunned at the sight. "...O-oh..."
The riolu points at the two. "That's them! They're the ones that put me through all this!"
S: Inteleon - "Oy!!! You two stop right there!!!" the inteleon charges after them
Umbreon - "Uh oh!"
L: The salazzle immediately bolts, and the riolu chases after them.
Riolu, to the inteleon: "Don't let the umbreon get away!"
S: the umbreon bolts as well with the salazzle and the inteleon runs after the two of them
Inteleon - "Get back here!!!"
Umbreon - "Run! Keep running!!"
L: Salazzle: "I-I'm trying!" But soon, she trips on a root, faceplanting in the dirt.
The riolu takes the opportunity to jump on her, pinning her down. "You're not going anywhere!"
S: "Salazzle!" distracted the umbreon trips as well, and the inteleon jumps and pins them down too
Inteleon - "You've got a lot of nerve trying to drown my best friend! Yall should be ashamed of yourselfs!"
Umbreon - "Ugh! Let us go!!"
L: Salazzle: "Sh-should've known something was gonna go bad... Good stuff always gets balanced out..." She struggles under the riolu, but isn't able to get free.
Riolu: "Now, what are we gonna do to get back at you two..."
S: Inteleon - "How about giving them a taste of their own medicine! See how they like being deep underwater!"
Umbreon - "Uhhh, I don't think that's a good idea! I don't like water!!!" the umbreon struggles under the inteleon but isn't able to get freed
L: Salazzle: "D-don't, I'm part fire type!"
Riolu: "Even better, then! Let's figure out how we're gonna dunk these two..."
S: Inteleon - "I think I may have an idea... we can tie something metal to their legs and toss them into the middle of the ocean where it's nice and deep! Haha!!"
Umbreon - "N-no! Please no!!"
L: Riolu: "That'll work great!"
Salazzle: "Yeah, and where are you gonna get metal around here!?"
Riolu: "...Crap, yeah..."
S: "Hmmm, I'm pretty sure I saw something medal that had a decent size by the shore, maybe we should check there"
Umbreon - "Ah but if what if we escape ya while you get that huh?!"
Inteleon - "Dang he's right..."
L: Riolu: "And we can't exactly trust them to stay here... I'm not sure there's anything around we can tie them up with, either."
Salazzle: "Yeah, now you've got no choice but to let us go!"
Riolu: "Shut up, I'm not letting you leave!"
S: Umbreon - "Come on just give up! There's no hope for you, haha!"
Inteleon - "Be quiet!! Hmm... I know, riolu how about you go fetch the piece of medal since I told you where it was, and I'll hold these two and make sure they don't escape, I think I can handle it"
L: Riolu: "Okay, you're stronger than me, if either of us can hold both of them it'll be you. Alright, get ready..." He gets off the salazzle, who immediately begins to scramble to stand up.
S: the inteleon immediately holds down the salazzle so she doesn't move, proving he's way stronger then the riolu
"Perfect!"
L: The salazzle struggles under the inteleon, but she's secure. "Ugh, how are you this strong!?"
Riolu: "Okay, I'll be right back, I'll try to be quick!" He takes off toward the shore.
S: "Alright bud!" the inteleon then stays still, keeping down the umbreon and salazzle
Umbreon - "Ugh! This is sooo uncomfortable!" the umbreon keeps trying to wiggle free but isn't able to
L: The salazzle keeps squirming as well. "Y-you're lucky I'm at a bad angle, or I'd be biting you!"
S: Inteleon - "Ha! You think I'm scared of a little biting? Nah! Hehe, so just be quiet already!"
a few minutes pass by as the umbreon and salazzle keep trying to free themselves, being unsuccessful of course each time
L: Finally, the riolu returns, dragging a big chunk of metal behind him. "G-got it... J-just barely..."
Salazzle: "Yeah, and how do you intend to get us bound to that thing?"
S: "Well, while we were on that boat I found this thick metal chain that may have came in handy for something, so I guess this is what we'll do!" the inteleon pulls out the chain and smirks, immediately beginning to tie them both up to the big chunk of medal
Umbreon - "Aww man!! This doesn't look good for us!
L: The riolu helps out with it. "Won't be long now..."
The salazzle tries her best to resist, but is soon fully tied. "S-stop it already!"
S: the umbreon is also fully tied as well, even tho he also tried to resist
Umbreon - "Please stop! You don't have to do this!"
Inteleon - "Perfect! Now all that's left is to toss them in the water, I think there's a cliff nearby we can throw them off of, and it's pretty close to the center of the ocean"
L: Riolu: "Sounds good! And it'll be a lot easier to move this now that both of us are here, too!"
Salazzle: "M-maybe we can make it up to you guys? U-um... I could work for you!"
S: Umbreon - "Y-yeah! I could too"
Inteleon - "Hmm...lemme think about that.... Nope!" the inteleon then starts to drag the big piece of medal towards the cliff, dragging the umbreon and salazzle with them
L: The salazzle is starting to panic now. "N-no, please! D-don't do this!"
Riolu: "You were so eager to do the same to me, so I think you ought to find out what it is you wanted me to go through..."
S: "Exactly!"
the umbreon is in absolute full panic mode now
Umbreon - "No! No! Please!! I wasn't joking when I said I hate water! Please don't!"
the inteleon and riolu continue to ignore their pleads, soon getting to the cliff where the ocean below them is now visible, and they are indeed towards the middle of it too
L: The salazzle is struggling her hardest yet, still accomplishing nothing. "I hate it too! P-please, just let us go, I promise I'll never bother you again!"
Riolu: "Sure you won't... Ready to do this?" He looks over at the inteleon.
S: Inteleon - "I was born ready! Let's do it! I suggest you two prepare yourselfs, or better yet how about you don't! Haha!" with the riolu's help, they drag the salazzle and umbreon to the very edge of the cliff, ready to throw them into the wster
Umbreon - "I'm begging you! Don't do it!🥺" the umbreon nudges closer to the salazzle since she's the only friend he's got right now
L: The salazzle tries to hug the umbreon, but she can't even do that with how little she can move. "W-we need as much time as we can get..." She starts taking deep breaths while she still can.
Riolu: "Better get ready quick!" With one last push, he sends the two over the edge.
S: the umbreon takes deep breathes as well while he can, panicking as the medal weight drags the two of them towards the deep ocean
Umbreon - "Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!"
Inteleon - "Haha! Good job riolu! Down they go!"
L: Salazzle: "Ah, AHH!" She keeps gasping while she can, bracing herself to slam into the water's surface.
The riolu smiles as he watches them fall. "Should we head down there and watch them?"
S: "That's up to you buddy, I mean you've already suffered enough water as it is, but me personally I definitely wanna go down there and watch them squirm"
Umbreon - "Brace for impact!!! Ahhhhh!!!" the umbreon keeps gasping too as the surface of the water gets closer and closer to them
L: The salazzle holds her breath just in time as the metal hits the water, she and umbreon quickly sinking under.
Riolu: "We'd better hurry then, it's a long way down there and I don't want to jump..."
S: the umbreon whimpers and holds his breath too, trying to be as close to salazzle as posssible
Inteleon - "Aww why not? It's not that bad! Besides, I think jumping down there is a lot faster then going around" the inteleon holds the riolu's paw "You don't have to be scared with me around :)"
L: The salazzle keeps struggling to get free, hoping hitting the water might have loosened her chains at least a little.
The riolu nervously looks down... "I-if you think it'll be fine... I suppose you know more about water than I do..."
S: but it doesn't, the umbreon struggles and whimpers and whines loudly as they sink further underwater, he's clearly a bad breath holder too and he's hating this a lot
"Trust me...I'll be perfectly fine" the inteleon walks to the edge and smiles at the riolu "Alright, take some deep breathes buddy" the inteleon proceeds to do some himself
L: The salazzle whimpers in fear as she keeps struggling, already having a very slight blush on her face.
The riolu takes deep breaths, as the inteleon asked. "O-oh man, this is gonna be my highest dive ever..."
S: the umbreon is just as scared as the salazzle as he keeps whimpering in fear, a red blush covering his own face too
"And it's gonna be fun!!" after they take some breathes the inteleon smiles even more
"On 3, we jump... 1....2....3!" still holding the riolu's paw the inteleon jumps off the cliff and him and the riolu fall down towards the same spot where the salzzale and umbreon we at
L: Riolu: "Ahh!" He hugs the inteleon as they fall, and gasps at the last moment before going under.
The salazzle hears them splash into the water, looking up at them with a bit of hope that they may have changed their minds.
S: "Wheee!!!!" the inteleon happily smiles and gasps in one last breath before going under too, hugging the riolu back as they sink down towards the salazzle and umbreon, which thankfully isn't gonna take too long to reach them
the umbreon look up and notices the two coming towards them, he also hopes they changed their minds, but they don't
L: The riolu calms down again, relieved that he's alright despite the huge drop.
Salazzle: "Gbl-geblt ubls oublt!"
S: Umbreon - "I donblt likble bebling undblerwablter!!!"
Inteleon - "Hehe..." the inteleon and riolu now sink side by side with the salzzale and umbreon "Nopble!"
L: Salazzle: "Dbl-dobln't jublst leblt ubls drblown!"
Riolu: "Oblh, noblw thblat itbl's hblappbleniblng tblo YOBLU itbl's noblt okblay?"
S: "Tsk tsk..." everyone eventually reaches the bottom, it's not as deep as where inteleon and riolu were, but it's still pretty deep nonetheless
Umbreon - "Salblazzle...I'm sblcared!" the umbreon's face is fully red now, whimpering some more
L: Salazzle: "Ibl-Ibl dobln't knblow whblat elblse tblo dblo!" Her face is red too, and the effort of her continued attempts to escape makes her groan out a few bubbles.
The riolu lets himself settle onto the bottom, standing next to the inteleon with no fear at all. "Yoblu cobluld alblwaybls jublst brbleatblhe..."
S: Inteleon - "Whobla! Looblk at you Mr confiblndent! Hehe! Savagebl!" the inteleon also let's himself settle on the bottom
the umbreon meanwhile continues to try and escape but doesn't, letting out bubbles in fear
Umbreon - "Thibls isbl sobl noblt coblol!! Iblm noblt...gonnbla breathble!!" still able to move his front paws a bit more the umbreon covers his mouth as his face turns deeply red
L: The salazzle tries to cover her mouth as well, but can't quite reach, trying to just press her mouth to her shoulder instead.
Riolu: "Lobloks liblke iblt wobln't ble mublch loblngeblr..."
S: Inteleon - "Mabln thesble guys are terrible at thibls stufblf! Haha!"
Umbreon - "Hbley! Mmmm!"
L: Riolu: "Evblem Ibl'm bebltteblr ablt hbloldbling mbly brbleatblh!"
The salazzle keeps squirming as her face starts turning a little blue.
S: Inteleon - "Yeah! Heblhe!"
the umbreon squirms around too as his own face is turning slightly blue
"Won'tbl be too mublch lonblger, riolu shoulbld we let theblm droblwn or no?"
L: Riolu: "...Iblf wble leblt thblem gblo, thbley'lbl prblobably rublin soblmeoblne's liblfe liblke thbley trblied wiblth mble. Webl're leblaviblng thblem hblere."
Salazzle: "N-nblo! Pbl-plbleasble, Ibl'm soblrry!"
S: Umbreon - "Pleblase donblt!! Weblre reblally sorrbly!"
Inteleon - "Well youbl hearbld himbl, sorrybl guys! NOT!"
L: The riolu is starting to blush a little now from all the talking he's been doing, but he's certainly still doing a lot better than the salazzle, who's fighting to hold her breath as bubbles leak from her nostrils.
S: the inteleon hasn't blushed yet as he's doing ok, but he does notice the riolu's blush and starts to look around for a bubble, the umbreon's face meanwhile is turning fully blue now
L: There's one fairly close by, and the entirely blue-faced salazzle is staring at it with a desperate expression. The riolu soon follows her gaze, noticing the bubble and swimming to it for a breath.
S: the inteleon has a slight red blush now, watching as the riolu inhales the bubble... the umbreon looks at the scene with desperation, wanting air super badly as he keeps his mouth and nose covered
L: Once the bubble is a manageable size, the riolu holds onto it and brings it over, smirking as he holds it just out of reach of the salazzle and umbreon, teasing them.
S: the inteleon watches this and giggles out some bubbles...while the umbreon tries to desperately reach for the bubble, whining
Umbreon - "Gimmble!!!"
L: The salazzle tries to reach the bubble as well, and while she can poke it with the very tip of her snout, she can't breathe from it. "Mmmm!"
The riolu giggles. "Keblep trblyinblg, thblis ibls fubln!"
S: "Gimblme thablt bubble!!" the umbreon also managed to touch the very tip of it and can't breathe from it either
Inteleon - "Hehe! Thibls is too funny tobl watblch!"
L: The salazzle's face is starting to go purple as she keeps trying to get the bubble, even snapping her jaw at it as if she's trying to bite it, seemingly willing to try anything at this point.
S: the umbreon is also starting to go purple, whining loudly as constant bubbles escape his mouth and nose even with it covered as he keeps trying to go for the bubble
Inteleon - "Youbl knoblw... mablybe we shoubld tease them fblurther and leblt theblm have jusblt a tiny bit of ablir"
L: Riolu: "Yeblah, jublst abl liblttlble~" He carefully pulls on the bubble, a much smaller fist-sized bubble forming in his hand from it, and he holds that one out to the salazzle. She immediately inhales it, but it does little for her, her blush just going back to being blue.
S: Umbreon - "Gimmble!!!" the umbreon knows it's won't do much, but any air is better then no air
Inteleon - "Don't forget thebl umbleron, hehbl"
L: The riolu pulls another small bubble off the main one and hands the small one to the umbreon. "Gblo obln anbld brbleatblhe, leblt's keblep thblis gobling!"
S: the umbreon immediately takes the bubble and inhales it, his face now slightly blue now as it didn't do much
Inteleon - "Mmm... riolu, coulbld I havble the reblst of thblat bubble? I neebld aiblr myself..." the Inteleon's face is fully red
L: The riolu nods, and hands what's left of the original bubble to the inteleon.
Salazzle: "Cbl-cabln wble noblt hblave ablt leblast abl liblttlble moblre?"
The riolu smiles and shakes his head at her.
S: Umbreon - "Yeblah thablt wasblnt enblough!"
Inteleon - "I donblt thblink so!" the inteleon giggles and inhales the rest of the bubble before either of them could protest further "Ahhh sweet air...."
L: Salazzle: "Shbl-shblut ublp..." She's already struggling fairly hard to keep holding her breath again.
Riolu: "Webll, noblthiblng moblre arblounbld noblw... Ibl'm sublre yoblu twblo knblow whblat thblat meblans!"
S: Umbreon - "Nblo! Nobl!!!"
Inteleon - "Hehehe!!!! D-r-o-w-n-i-n-g! Droblwning!!"
Umbreon - "I donblt wanblna drblown!"
L: The salazzle fights hard once again in an attempt to free herself, but still, it's for nothing. "Nblo, dobln't! Dbl-dobln't leblt thblis ble iblt!"
Riolu: "Toblo babld! Shbloulbld've thblougblht oblf thblat beblforble yoblu trblied tblo frblame mble!"
S: the umbreon fights as well, but nothing happens
Umbreon - "Pleblase be a drbleam...pleblase be a drbleam..."
Inteleon - "This is no drblream! Too bad sobl sad!"
the umbreon now tries to bite the chain off, even tho it's made of medal, and even trying to use a pokemon move to bite the chain off...and surprisingly it seems like its working...
L: Riolu: "Oblh, trblyinblg tblo geblt oublt? Dblo yoblu reblallbly thblink yoblu'll ble able tblo sublrfablce ibln tiblme?"
The salazzle notices what the umbreon is doing, and tries a move herself to try to escape. "Ibl-itbl's abl bebltteblr chblancble thblan stblayiblng!"
S: Inteleon - "Ha! I lovble to seebl you trbly!"
with their combined efforts the medal chain finally snaps, freeing the umbreon and salazzle...the umbreon immediately bolting towards the surface, which is pretty clumsy as his swimming was really bad
Umbreon - "Weblre frblee!"
Inteleon - "Eh, I'm nblot worrbled, thebly wonblt makble it!"
L: The salazzle isn't having an easy time either, awkwardly pulling at the water to swim. She says nothing, preserving her breath for now.
Riolu: "Hblahbla, thbley'rble evblen woblrse thblan Ibl ablm!"
S: the inteleon giggles
Inteleon - "Wow... letbls follblow them sloblwly and see hoblw far they go" the inteleon offer their back to the riolu, knowing he may wanna hold on as he was a bad swimmer himself
L: The riolu holds onto the inteleon one more time, nodding to them to tell them he's ready.
The salazzle's blush is starting to get a little bit purple again as she keeps frantically trying to swim up.
S: the inteleon nods and swims up to catch up with the umbreon and salazzle
the umbreon's blush meanwhile turns fully blue for now as she keeps trying to swim up frantically
L: The salazzle covers her mouth with one hand as she swims, losing bubbles regardless while whining and whimpering.
The riolu smiles as he watches her and the umbreon.
S: the inteleon smiles too
Inteleon - "Looblk at thblem struggble! Thebly areblnt evblen close to the surblface!"
the umbreon covers his mouth with a paw too, bubbles escaping regardless as he keeps trying to swim up as fast as he can
L: The salazzle is paying no mind to anyone else at this point, too absorbed in her desperate struggle to keep holding her breath.
S: the umbreon was a little more aware, wrapping an arm around the salazzle to hopefully comfort her in some way, and thinking maybe with their combined efforts they can go a lot faster as they keep swimming up
L: The surface is getting closer a little bit faster... But the salazzle's burning lungs are threatening to give up at any moment, a constant trickle of bubbles now leaving her.
S: the umbreon notices the struggle on the salazzle and covers their nose and mouth for them, he had to take his own hand off his mouth but he wanted to help out his friend in some way and he uses his legs to kick faster
Inteleon - "I'm surpisbled how lonblg thebly are manblanging..."
L: Riolu: "Ibl'm sublre thbley'rble boblth goblnna brbleatblhe soblon..."
The salazzle's swimming is getting a bit frantic at this point, but she does smile a little as the umbreon helps her keep her air in.
S: "Hopeblfully..."
the umbreon's own swimming was frantic too, but smiles a tad at him helping the salazzle out, even as constant bubbles escape the umbreon
L: Riolu: "Wble cabln alblwaybls publl thblem doblwn iblf thbley geblt toblo clblose."
The salazzle glares at him when he says that, but keeps going, her eyes going wide as her chest starts heaving harder, her body trying to reject the stale air in her.
S: "Ah riblght"
Umbreon - "Doblnt!" the umbreon glares too as his own chest heaves harder, they are almost at the surface...
L: The salazzle seems to be on the verge of drowning as she closes in on the surface...
Riolu: "Okblay, wble nebled tblo stblop thblem!"
S: Inteleon - "Oooh yeblah let's hurrbly and dblo thablt!"
Umbreon - "Keblep gonling...salblazzle...weblre alblmost there!"
L: The riolu pushes himself off the inteleon, getting just far enough to grab the umbreon's tail, at which point he does his best to swim down. "Nblo yoblu dobln't!"
The salazzle, meanwhile, is just moments from surfacing...
S: the inteleon moves up and grabs the salzzale, trying to pull her down
Inteleon - "You aiblnt gobling noblwhere!"
Umbreon - "Gablh!! Heybl! Leblt mble gblo! I wanblt aiblr!! Mmmm!!!" the umbreon has a full purple face, whimpering very loudly
L: The salazzle frantically struggles. "Nblo, NBLO! IBL NEBLED TBLO...MMMM!" Partway through her begging, she covers her mouth, shivering all over. It's clear she only has seconds until she starts to drown...
The riolu keeps holding the umbreon, only very slowly dragging them down. "Ybl-yoblu're noblt geblttiblng aiblr!" He's blushing a little at this point, but certainly in a far better state than the umbreon.
S: the inteleon is blushing a little too but doesn't mind, slowly dragging the salazzle down
the umbreon meanwhile somehow managed to squirm free from the riolu at the last possible second and frantically swim the remaining distance to the surface, getting there and gasping heavily for air...the salazzle however isn't gonna be that lucky
Inteleon - "Aw nobl! The umblreon goblt away!"
L: But, with the salazzle still being held, the bubbles trailing from her turn to spurts, then a full-on cloud of stale air as she finally exhales before audibly gasping! "GLRGLK! ARGL!" Her hands move from her mouth to her neck as she starts drowning!
Riolu: "Soblrry... Ablt leblast ONBLE oblf thblem ibls drblownbling!"
S: the inteleon smiles and giggles
"Itbls okbl! Looblk atbl thblem chokble!"
meanwhile on the surface, the umbreon keeps gasping in the air, his face slowly returning the normal, but suddenly looks down at the water in fear "Salazzle!" he quickly takes a deep breath and holds it, diving back underwater and seeing the salzzale drown which makes him visibly tear up
Umbreon - "Noooblbooo! Salblazzle!!! Noooooblbl!!!!"
L: Riolu, to the umbreon: "Yeblah, anbld yoblu're neblxt!"
The salazzle desperately thrashes her hardest yet, choking and gargling as she keeps sucking in water, looking up at the umbreon with a wide-eyed, pleading expression.
S: the umbreon eyes widen in fear, then uses a bite move on the inteleon holding the salzzale, which causes the inteleon to yelp out bubbles and let go of the salazzle, before the umbreon tugs her back to the surface, managing to get there
Inteleon - "Owwblbl... ugblh! Thblese twblo arble sobl stubblborn!"
L: The salazzle is hacking and spitting up water, her lungs having been mostly flooded. She's in no state to talk just yet, holding onto the umbreon so she doesn't sink back under.
Riolu: "Noblw whblat arble wble goblnna dblo?"
S: the umbreon lightly gasps as when they reach the surface, holding tightly to the salzzale
Umbreon - "I've got you... don't worry...I'm right here"
Inteleon - "Clblearly webl neebld to dblo bettbler at holblding thblem doblwn.... but what? Anbly ideas buddy?"
L: The salazzle's face is gradually going back to its normal colors as she recovers. "Th...Th-thank you...W-we need to go..." Her voice is a bit hoarse from her brief drowning.
Riolu: "I'vble goblt noblthiblng... Mmm... Wble shbloulbld sublrfablce..."
S: Umbreon - "Yeah, let's go! Hurry!" the umbreon keeps a hold on the salzzale as he tries to swim for shore
Inteleon - "Yeblah... we canblt let theblm geblt ablway! Ilbl thblink ofnl somblething..." the inteleon let's the riolu hold onto him again and swims up the remainder distance to the surface, getting up there and gasping for air, watching as the umbreon and salzzle try to escape
"Their getting away!"
L: The salazzle gets a scared look as she sees the inteleon and riolu again. "N-no, stay away!"
The riolu gasps as he surfaces. "You're not getting away!"
S: "Get back here!!"
Umbreon - "L-leave us alone!!! Please!"
with the inteleon's great speed he zips over to the salzzale and umbreon, holding them both firmly and restraining any movement
Inteleon - "I got them!"
L: The salazzle once again fights to get free. "Just leave us alone, you've done enough!"
Riolu: "So, how are we gonna do this... Hm..."
S: "Techinally the salazzle experienced drowning, the umbreon however hasn't... I say we give the salazzle air and force them back down again, and just let them see the umbreon drown this time, the only problem is I don't know what we could do to keep them down and make sure they stay down..."
Umbreon - "Ahhh!!! No!!!"
L: Salazzle: "No, don't drown him too!"
Riolu: "That'd work for me, and we could probably keep him down if we work together... But that salazzle's gonna be trying to stop us..."
S: Inteleon - "I'll do everything in my power to make sure the salazzle doesn't do anything to us..." the inteleon then whispers to the riolu "I think I'll just say if you want to keep breathing, then don't stop us ;)"
Umbreon - "Please! I don't wanna drown!" the umbreon looks at the salazzle with a very fearful face
L: Riolu, whispering back: "Oh, that'll totally work now that they know what drowning's like!"
Salazzle, to the umbreon: "Don't worry, I'm gonna figure something out!"
S: Inteleon - "Exactly! This should go a lot better this time..."
the umbreon looks down at the water with a big fearful expression, not wanting to hold his breath again
Umbreon - "I-i-i hope so!"
L: Riolu: "So, umbreon... Better get yourself ready quick!"
Salazzle: "I'm NOT letting you drown him!"
S: Inteleon - "Hush... I suggest you prepare yourself!"
Umbreon - "Oh man! Not again!!! Please not again!!!" the umbreon takes some fearful gasps of air in, whimpering like a litteral puppy
L: While he has the chance, the riolu gets himself ready as well, with deep gasps.
The salazzle does too, while still trying to get loose. "Let go of him!"
S: Inteleon - "Never!" the inteleon takes some gasps himself, nodding to the riolu to make sure he's ready
the umbreon keeps taking deep gasps while he can, still whimpering
L: The riolu nods back, ready to hold his breath whenever the inteleon decides to go under.
The salazzle growls as she keeps struggling.
S: the umbreon keeps struggling too, then without warning, the inteleon gasps a last deep breath, holding it in and diving back underwater, dragging the salazzle, umbreon and riolu with him, but riolu knew this was happening unlike the salzzale and umbreon
L: The riolu quickly gasps and holds his breath, while the salazzle doesn't get the chance, her lungs only being about half full when she goes under.
S: the umbreon just barely manages to gasp and hold his breath before getting dunked back under, whimpering loudly again as the inteleon sinks down
L: Salazzle: "Leblt gblo oblf hblim oblr Ibl'm goblnna biblte yoblu liblke hble dibld!"
Riolu: "Thblink thblat's goblnna stblop ubls?"
S: Inteleon - "Uh uh ublh! I suggblest yblou doblnt bitble me, or yblour nblot gonnbka breathe air!"
Umbreon - "Mmmm!!!! Mmmm!!!!"
L: Just as planned, that makes the salazzle hesitate. She doesn't want to let her friend drown, but she doesn't want to breathe any more water herself, unsure if her body can take it... "...Ibl-Ibl'm soblrry, Umblreobln..."
The riolu nods. "Thblat's whblat Ibl thblougblht."
S: Umbreon - "Salblazzle! Comble on!" the umbreon looks at the salazzle with the most innocent expression ever, and probably the most cutest face you'll see from a umbreon
Inteleon - "Hablha!!!" they all sink down deeper
L: It's hard to tell, but the salazzle is starting to cry a little. "Ibl-Ibl cabln't gblo thblroublgh thblat agblain!"

S: Inteleon - "Heheheblhaha!!!"
Umbreon - "N-nobl! Pleblase salblzzle! Nobl!" it may be hard to tell but the poor umbreon is crying really badly, he's very much upset about this whole situation
L: The salazzle isn't fighting to escape any more, knowing what's going to happen if she keeps trying. She just watches the umbreon, wishing she could do something...
Riolu: "Cabln't imblagiblne thblis'lbl tablke toblo loblng..."
S: the umbreon continues to whimper and whine, covering his mouth with a paw as they settle back at the bottom, the umbreon also keeps looking at the salazzle with desperation in his eyes, trying to be more cute for her so she'll finally do something
Inteleon - "Not at abll..."
L: Riolu, to the salazzle: "Mublst noblt feblel goblod jublst leblttiblng hblim drblown, hbluh?"
The salazzle doesn't say anything, now just looking away from the umbreon and trying to ignore them.
S: the umbreon whimpers more and places his other paw on the salzzale's shoulder, trying everything to get her to do something and get her attention, once again looking at her with a very cute expression
"Hehble! Sublcks to be yblou!"
L: The salazzle tries to bat the umbreon's paw away. "Ibl-Ibl'm soblrry, Ibl jublst cabln't hblelp yoblu!"
S: Umbreon - "Bublt salzzble...y-youblr suppblosed to bble mybl friblend... and frinblends...h-h-heblp eacblh othbler" now instead of putting his paw on the salzzale, he wraps his arm around the salazzle in a sort of side hug, it's getting harder and harder to resist that adorable and innocent umbreon face
Inteleon - "hehble...boobl hoblo...sobl tragic!"
L: The salazzle glares at the umbreon, with tears in her eyes. "STBLOP IBLT!" She starts trying to get free again, this time seemingly just to get away from the umbreon.
Riolu: "Oblh mabln, iblf shble stblays thblis mabld, shble's goblnna enbld ublp drblownbling anblywably!"
S: "Anbld thblat would be nblice..."
the umbreon notices her tears in her eyes and tears up more himself, then moves his other paw from his mouth to instead hug the salazzle fully with both arms as the final method to get her to stop this nonsense and help him
Umbreon - "Plblease salblazzle... pleblease...🥺🥺"
L: The salazzle doesn't answer, doing everything she can to get away as she feels worse and worse about not doing anything to help.
Riolu: "Mablybe shble's goblnna stblart yebllinblg hbler aiblr oublt iblf thblis kebleps ublp..."
S: but the umbreon keeps the hug tight so she can't escape his grasp, really wanting help but he does the hug in a way that's still comforting and not uncomfortable
"Pleblease...."
Inteleon - "Maybe I dblont knoblw" the inteleon has a slight red face but is still fine
L: The salazzle looks at the umbreon again, mad like before. "Shblut UBLP alblreabldy! Ibl'm noblt hblelpbling yoblu, thbley'lbl drblown mble agblain iblf Ibl dblo! Sblo jublst sublck iblt ublp alblre..." She covers her mouth; she hardly has any air left in her now.
Riolu: "Jublst liblke Ibl thblougblht!" He's blushing a little too, but he's determined to stay and watch.
S: Inteleon - "Hablha! Looblks likble she need air alblready..." the inteleon looks around for any air bubbles
the umbreon whimpers again like a puppy, his whole face red as he was scared of how mad the salazzle was, crying again as well
Umbreon - "Salblazzle hatbles me!!ðŸ˜"
L: While she wishes she could reassure the umbreon, the salazzle doesn't want to risk talking now - what air she has left might make the difference between her surfacing with dry or wet lungs. But, she at least shakes her head at him.
Riolu, to the umbreon: "Ablh, Ibl'm sublre shble doblesnbl't. Ibl wobluldbln't wablnt tblo drblown eibltheblr."
S: the inteleon swims over to an air bubble he saw, grabbing it gently and bringing it back over
Inteleon - "Alrighblt salzzble you sublffered enougblh, here" the inteleon gives her the bubble
the umbreon looks at the bubble with wide eyes, wanting it badly as he looks at the salazzle, sadder then ever now
"Ah Ah Ah! Nblo touchy on tblhe bubble umblreon!"
the umbreon glares at the inteleon and riolu, then goes back to look at the salazzle with the pleading/cute expression
L: Riolu: "Yeblah, Sablazzble, gblo ahblead."
She quickly inhales the bubble, wishing she could give some to the umbreon but knowing she'll get in trouble if she does.
S: Umbreon - "Whyyyyyblblblyyyyy!!!!!!" the umbreon looks at the salazzle with a disappointed look
Inteleon - "Hahbla!! Look hblow red his facble is!"
L: Salazzle: "...Sbl-soblrry..."
Riolu: "Umblreobln, yoblu mably abls webll jublst inblhblale anbld geblt iblt ovbler wiblth!"
S: "Yeblah, yourbl onlbly delablying the enviablnle"
Umbreon - "No!" the umbreon covers his mouth and nose, continue the whine about the betrayal of his friend
L: Salazzle: "Ebl-evblen Ibl thblink yoblu shbloulbld jublst acblcepblt iblt... Ibl cabln't hblelp, anbld yoblu cabln't dblo thblis obln yoblur owbln..."
Riolu: "Shble's riblght, yoblu knblow! Jublst tablke abl deblep brbleatblh, anbld mablybe webl'll leblt yoblu ublp~"
S: "ARE YBLOU NUBLTS!?!? MMM!!!!" the umbreon's face is now slightly blue, shivering all over "N-nblo...I cblant..."
Inteleon - "Yeah, ifbl you breathble in, we wibll leblt you up, mayblbe~ Mmm..." the inteleon's own face is started to turn fully red "I nbleed air..."
L: Riolu: "Yoblu're goblnna brbleatblhe anblywably soblon, whbly noblt jublst geblt obln wiblth iblt?"
Salazzle: "Mablybe iblt wobln't hblurt abls mublch iblf yoblu jublst dbl iblt..."
S: Umbreon - "Mmm mmm!" he shakes his head no, still trying to hold his breath "I cblant!"
the inteleon covers his mouth and looks around for another air bubble somewhere
L: There's another bubble rising up nearby, which the riolu points to. "Ibl cobluld reblallbly gblo foblr abl brbleatblh myblselblf, ablt thblis poblint..."
Salazzle: "Ibl alblreabldy knblow yoblu gublys wobln't giblve anbly tblo Umblreobln..."
S: Inteleon - "Noblpe!" the inteleon swims over and grabs the bubble, bring it back...then carefully cuts it in half, giving one of the halfs to the riolu and inhaling the other half
"Ahhblh, thablts better"
the umbreon whimpers as they watch the bubble, wanting to get his paws on it
L: The riolu sucks in his half, making sure the umbreon gets a good view of him doing so as his blush fades away. "Mmm, feblels abl loblt bebltteblr...", he bubbles out to tease them.
S: Umbreon - "Grrrrrr!!!!!!" the umbreon smacks the riolu with their tail
Inteleon - "Hebly!!"
L: Riolu: "Oblw! Dobln't, oblr Ibl miblght chblangble mbly miblnd ablout leblttiblng yoblu bablck ublp!"
Salazzle: "Ubl-Umblreobln, dobln't, thbley'lbl dblo iblt..."
S: Umbreon - "Stblay outblta thblis salblazzle, ivble habld enoublgh of thblis!" the umbreon slaps the riolu again with their tail, and with him getting mad is using up more of his air
Inteleon - "Stoblp hurblting mybl beblst friblrend!"
L: Riolu: "Bllaulrlbl! Okblay, yoblu dblo thblat agblain anbld yoblu're neblver brbleatblhinblg aiblr agblain!"
The salazzle tries to hold onto the umbreon to stop them. "Dbl-dobln't, Ibl dobln't thblink hebl's lybling!"
S: "Yeblah!"
Umbreon - "Grrblrr...." the umbreon tries to calm himself down but the lack of air and anger building up isn't helping, his face fully blue as he smacks riolu with his tail again, even with the salazzle holding him
L: Salazzle: "NBLO!" Once again, tears start welling up as she worries her friend is going to die down here.
Riolu: "Mmh! Alblrigblht, thblat's iblt! Bebltteblr hblold yoblur brbleatblh abls loblng abls yoblu cabln, 'cabluse thblis ibls iblt!" He gets off the inteleon's back so the umbreon can't keep hitting him.
S: Umbreon - "Wablit! I'm sorrbly! Pleblase!🥺" the umbreon tears up too, worried about his life now on the line, and his face now purple
Inteleon - "Now looblk whablt you've donble... tsk tsk...
L: Riolu: "Ibl alblreabldy gablve yoblu abl chblancble, anbld loblok whblat yoblu dibld wiblth iblt!"
Salazzle: "Ubl-ublmm... M-mablybe jublst gblo tblo whblen hble pablssebls oublt? Nblo fablrthbler thblan thblat?"
S: Umbreon - "P-p-passbles oublt!? Mmm!" the umbreon now tightly seals his mouth and nose as his whole face is purple
Inteleon - "I don't knoblw, whatbl do you thinblk riolu?"
Umbreon - "I-i sablid I was sblorry...🥺🥺"
L: The salazzle gives the riolu a pleading look.
The riolu thinks for a moment... Then whispers to the inteleon. "Leblt hblim gblo onblce hble pablssebls oublt." He winks to them, then turns to the umbreon. "Noblpe, yoblu're stblayiblng!"
Salazzle: "Nbl-nblo, plbleasble!"
S: the inteleon smirks at the riolu and winks back
Inteleon - "Yeblp your staybling right herble!"
Umbreon - "Noooooooo- Ghhhhl!!" the umbreon finally couldn't hold his breath anymore and inhales the water around him
L: Salazzle: "UMBLREOBLN!" Knowing there's nothing she can do to help, she just watches him breathe water...
The riolu returns to the inteleon's back now that he's probably not going to be hit again. "Thblere hble gobles, wiblth hblis lablst feblw brbleatblhs...~"
S: "Gakblbl!!! Gblet thklis...watbler ouklt of...m-me......" the umbreon keeps inhaling the water as his lungs slowly fill up, a desperate look in his eyes, it won't take long until he's gonna pass out
Inteleon - "Hahbla!"
L: The salazzle looks away, unable to bear watching her friend drown any more.
Riolu: "Mabln, thblat dobles NOBLT loblok liblke abl goblod tiblme..."
S: "Noblpe! Good thinblg that's not mble!"
pretty soon the umbreon couldn't take any more water in and slowly begins to pass out on the seafloor
"Thblere he gobles..."
L: The riolu giggles. "Keblep obln trblyinblg tblo brbleatblhe, Umblreobln! Mablybe yoblu'll grblow giblls!"
Salazzle: "...Shbl-shblut ublp..." She's doing everything she can to keep from sobbing so she doesn't end up drowning too.
S: eventually the umbreon is now fully passed out on the seafloor, one more audible whimper before it happens
the inteleon has already let go of the umbreon
Inteleon - "Welblp..."
L: The riolu looks at the salazzle and gestures to the umbreon. "Gblo ahblead anbld brbling hblim ublp."
The salazzle is so surprised she accidentally gasps, coughing up the water and some air before bolting down to get the umbreon. "Thbl-thblank yoblu!"
S: "Whabltever... try anbld kbleep up" *the inteleon rolls their eyes and starts to swim up to the surface with the riolu"
L: The salazzle drapes the drowned umbreon over her shoulder and frantically swims up with him, her face red from her own need to breathe.
Riolu: "Ibl thblink thbley'lbl boblth hblave leblarnbled thbleir leblssobln noblw..."
S: "Ybleah mebl tbloo... there's no way thebly wilbl boblther yblou again"
the inteleon and riolu get to the surface first and gasp for air
L: The salazzle surfaces a couple seconds after, gasping and frantically swimming to shore so she can revive the umbreon.
Riolu: "Yep, go ahead! You're free to go, but you'd better not mess with anyone again!"
S: Inteleon - "We mean it!" the inteleon points to his own eyes then at the salazzle
the umbreon meanwhile remains unconscious
L: Salazzle: "I-I know, I know!" Getting to the shore, she lays the umbreon on the ground and starts doing CPR.
Riolu: "We should head to shore too, Inteleon..."
S: "Sure...but first..." the inteleon smirks, letting the riolu off their back for a brief second to playfully dunk them underwater "Hehe!"
as salazzle does CPR, the umbreon suddenly opens his eyes and coughs up water, gasping in heavily
L: "Ablh!" The riolu quickly surfaces again and laughs, hugging the inteleon before starting to swim to shore.
Relief floods the salazzle as the umbreon wakes up, and she starts patting his back to help him get the water out. "I-it's okay, just breathe..."
S: Inteleon - "Sorry buddy! I couldn't resist!" the inteleon laughs, hugging the riolu back before swimming with him to shore
the umbreon keeps coughing out water and eventually stops to finally breathe in air
Umbreon - "W-what happened?? A-am I alive?! Salazzle??" he's turns in another direction and doesn't notice the salazzle that just saved him
L: Salazzle: "I'm here, I'm okay!" She hugs the umbreon.
The riolu walks onto shore, watching the salazzle and umbreon. "Don't make me regret not just leaving you two down there, alright?"
S: the umbreon hugs the salazzle back, relieved he's alive, but when he sees the inteleon and riolu on the shore, he growls at them
"I don't care what it's gonna take, I'm gonna get you two back!"
Inteleon - "Oooh! I'm so scared...haha!"
L: Salazzle: "D-don't, they're not gonna let you up if they have to punish us again!"
Riolu: "You've got that right! If there's a next time, it'll be the last!"
S: the umbreon gulps a bit in fear, but his determination stays front and center
Umbreon - "You think a little water is gonna stop me?! No way! Just wait, we'll strike when you least expect it!"
the inteleon yawns, unamused by the umbreon's words
Inteleon - "...Don't make us drag you back underwater, cause that can be arranged"
L: Salazzle: "...Y-you're gonna have to do it alone, Umbreon. I'm not messing with them again, we couldn't even beat them together..."
Riolu: "Salazzle's got a point, you know!"
S: Inteleon - "Mmhm"
Umbreon - "Ugh, just you wait...I'll get you someday" the umbreon smacks riolu with his tail AGAIN and laughs, he even smacks Inteleon!
Inteleon - "Owww! Hey!"
L: Riolu: "Ow! Get out of here before I change my mind about letting you leave!"
The salazzle grabs the umbreon, trying to drag them away. "STOP, don't push this!"
S: but the umbreon slips free and smacks riolu with his tail yet again
Umbreon - "Na na na na!! You can't get me!"
Inteleon - "Oh boy..."
L: Riolu: "Gah! If you hit me again, we're pulling you back underwater, and I PROMISE I'm not letting you back up!"
Salazzle: "Don't, umbreon! I-I can't lose you!"
S: Inteleon - "You better hear riolu loud and clear this time, we mean it"
Umbreon - "They made me mad! So they deserve this!" the umbreon then again smacks the riolu with his tail, this time however back up when he does
L: Riolu: "Alright, that's IT!" He angrily bolts toward the umbreon, trying to grab them. "And don't try anything, Salazzle, or you're going with him!"
The salazzle stands back as requested, but starts crying again, knowing this is going to be it for her friend...
S: but the umbreon runs away from the riolu before he could grab him
"Don't just stand there salazzle let's go! Move it!"
Inteleon - "Get them!" the inteleon charges after them too
L: The salazzle hesitates... Then rushes to stop the riolu and inteleon. "L-leave him alone!"
Riolu: "Oh, you want in on this too, huh!?" He turns and charges at the salazzle instead.
S: Umbreon - "Leave salazzle alone!" the umbreon picks up the salazzle and bolts off at a great speed to a hiding spot before the riolu and inteleon could react "Shhh...."
Inteleon - "Now where did those two go? Ugh... they really are stubborn"
L: The salazzle holds a hand over her mouth, trying her best to keep quiet.
The riolu quickly looks around. "Argh, where are you two!?"
S: the umbreon does the same, making sure to keep still and quiet so they won't find them
Inteleon - "I don't see them anywhere!"
L: Eventually, the riolu sighs. "I think they might've gotten away... Ugh, they're just gonna keep being awful to people..."
S: "Your right... I kinda regret letting them come back up, we should have just kept them down underwater... dang it!"
L: Riolu: "There's no way we're gonna find them again... Maybe we should just get going."
S: "Yeah, I guess...there's nothing we can do really..."
the inteleon starts to walk away
L: The riolu goes with them, disappointed he won't be able to get revenge.
The salazzle is still nervous, and whispers to the umbreon. "Do you think they're gone?"
S: the umbreon looks around from the outside of their hiding spot
Umbreon - "I think so, I don't hear anyone"
L: "Let's get out of here, we can't risk them happening across this spot..." She starts cautiously climbing out.
S: "Right let's go..." the umbreon also cautiously climbs out, sneaking away whole still being as quiet as possible
L: The salazzle doesn't see the riolu or inteleon anywhere, but is still trying her best to hopefully not be noticed.
S: "Shhh...." they continue to sneak away, looking like they are hopefully gonna get away with this
L: They both get out of the area they'd been in without being seen, and the salazzle starts to calm down a little, though she still whispers. "I think we might be clear..."
S: the umbreon whispers back
"Yeah, I think so too...thank Arceus... there's no shot they will find us..."
L: "Those two are crazy... Come on, we need to get off the island before we end up coming across them again."
S: "Right...but how do we do that? There's no airplanes here yknow... and we're in the middle of the ocean..."
L: "Yeah, um... How did we get here again? Can't seem to remember, being so scared's got me all screwed up..."
S: "I can't remember either, I got too scared so I'm screwed up as well... ugh! Great just great"
L: The salazzle sighs. "Let's just stay as far away from water as possible while we figure this out, we can't have it be easy for them if they find us."
S: "Yeah, good idea..." and so the umbreon and salazzle stay away from water to figure out how to off of this island before the inteleon and riolu could find them again
