----------------

An abandoned, sunken submarine, awaiting to be photographed and documented for further research. Seemed like the perfect job for Dashi (at the time, at least).

"I'll go!" Dashi said assertively, to which Captain Barnacles said, "Alone?"

"Yeah!" she replied, "I'll be able to take lots of photos; I'm made for this! And it's not like I'm going back into a whale shark's stomach, eh?"

Barnacles couldn't help but to chuckle a little to that comment, remembering how she was able to directly document a whale shark from inside the belly, literally! Still, he remained slightly concerned.

"Right, but it's still an unexplored structure, even with our preliminary reports; we don't know the structural condition of the wreck inside, or what creatures have moved in to live in there" he says.

"Maybe, but we've already observed the wreck for months now, with no sign of of life moving in, out or around the site, and if the reports are at all accurate, that submarine was built with such a thick metal shell it would take a several years to even begin to corrode".

"Understood, but it's still quite the risk to go on your own. Are you completely sure you want to go on your own?" Barnacles ultimately asks, to which Dashi replies "Yes. After all, we'll still be in contact over the radio".

After a second of two of thought, Barnacles finally says "Alright, then. You may go, but please be careful".

"Yes, captain!" Dashi said before suiting up, activating her helmet and exiting the octopod to head towards the submarine wreck.

It was a VERY long swimming distance, over a hundred miles, but once close enough to the site, Dashi finally started to watch in awe as the massive sunken craft slowly but surely came into view.

It was absolutely humongous, and simply majestic! A sea wolf class submarine, intended for marine warfare, built to withstand some of the most ferocius attacks it could take from enemy ships. And yet what brought it down was a sea storm that capsized it against a set of huge boulders. Oh, how ironic and poetic, how artificial attempts eventually surrender to nature's perfection.

The closer she got to the sub, the better she saw how big it really was. HUGE. She radioed Captain Barnacles. "Dashi to Captain. I'm aproaching the submarine wreckage, and it's massive!"

"Copy" Barnacles responded, "Given its class and its original puprose, it was meant to be BIG, with capital B. Are you at the fin yet?"

"Not yet" she replied back as she approached the front of the wreck "I'm just arriving at the sub's nose, now I'm heading to the top"

Dashi headed to the top of the sub, to where the top entrance was located. It gave her another view of the sheer size of this dead machine, and the relatvely intact structural state of that outer shell, even after all this time. It took her a short while to reach the fin (or sail in America), at which point she radioed back to Barnacles.

"I'm at the fin captain!". "Right, there sould be 2 entry points available at the base and at the top".

"Got it!" Dashi spotted the base entrance. It was sealed shut, and she couldn't get it open. She checked the top entrance and that was aleady open, with its missing door.

"Top entrance is open! Right, it looks good to enter, so I'm going in and I'll try to contact you from the inside" she informed.

"Copy" Barnacles replied before Dashi entered the submarine wreck. She didn't take time to observe the interior as she focused on ensuring a mantained contact with Barnacles.

"Alright, Captain. Come in", but there was only radio silence. "Captain, can you hear me?" More silence. To be realistic, the signal outside was not the strongest. But now, inside the submarine, doubling as a gargantuan casing of extra, extra thick metal, that signal was comepletely dead. No chance of contacting the outside.

Dashi emerged back out of the top of the fin, and the radio signal instantly returned to normal, with Barnacles already calling: "Dashi, can you reach me?". "Captain, I've tried to contact you from the inside, I had absolutely no signal" she replies.

"No wonder, if the preliminary report is at all accurate, that shell is close to half a meter thick! Listen, Dashi, are you absolutely sure you don't want a partner sent your way?" he asks once again, "I'm positive Kwazii is available".

"I'm positive" she replied, once again. "Just to be sure, be ready to send someone if you don't hear from me in half an hour, but for now, I'll be fine on my own".

"Alright, but PLEASE be careful" Barnacles finally said. "Yes, Captain. I'll be careful. Over and out".

With that said, Dashi entered through the fin, for good this time, into the submarine, and with her flashlight turned on, and with the sub's map from the report in hand, she finally began exploring the insides of this massive craft, unaware of the two hungry eyes and 8 tentacles already tracking her from a distance.

Starting from the Control Room, at the top level, Dashi inspected and photographed all the maps area and the communication and orientation equipment used in here, already full of rust and even algae from all this time submerged this deep in seawater. She also took a good look at the staff's quarters and operation consoles before moving along the floor into the monouvering room, with all the controls once destined to steer this massive sea craft through the ocean.

Finally, she dropped to a lower level, where she could access a very large area: The engine room. The massive engine block, nothing compared to the bubble generator that powered the octopod. And all the machinery attached to it, gearbox, turbines, steam duckting...

With flashlight pointing at the engine, and camera ready, she was already heading towards it to start taking oh so many pictures of it all! But...

"Wha-- WHOA!!!" Dashi was suddently attacked by 2 big tentacles quickly and violently wrapping themselves around her body. Make that 3, now 4...

"W-What on earth?! LET ME GO!!" Dashi was already flailing, trying to fight back and break free from those ferocious tentacles sticking to more and more of her and dragging her across the floor.

She squirmed hard against those tentacles trapping her in place and throwing her around at their mercy. She tried prying them off herself with her hands, but they were very well stuck to her body thanks to all those suckers in them, not to mention that her arms were already getting pinned to her chest. Just before being trapped for good, she tried planting her palms into the submarine room floor, hold on to something that would allow her to defend herself. To no avail.

After a couple of very long minutes of fruitless struggling, Dashi, completely wrapped in tentacles was brought up to meet the face of her captor: A red, Giant Pacific Octopus! How gigantic? It's head alone was at least as big as Dashi herself!

It finally spoke: "Well, well, well... What do we have here?", he stared down his prey, "I seem to have caught myself an octo-diver, or something?"

"It's octoNAUT!" Dashi corrected him as he just giggled it off, "Now, what would it take for you to release me so that we can move on our own ways in peace? If I'm treespasing and you want me out of here, then my apologies; just say the word and I'll leave!"

The octopus laughed again "O-ho-hooo, please! If I let you leave now, I can't consume you!". Her eyes shot open with fear upon hearing that. "WHAT!?" she screamed. "Yeah! I've waited a long time to catch myself a massive meal like this... And I knew it was a matter of time until someone wandered into a large, abandoned site like this!"

As it happens, the large octopus had been visiting this very submarine wreckage site, in absolute secrecy, awaiting patiently to hunt for any form of prey that was any larger then his usual prey of fish and algae. Something big, and maybe alive, to have for himself as a very special dinner.

And right now, Dashi was the very special dinner.

"NO! Stop fooling around!" she finally demanded, dreading what was about to happen, "I'm not food! I'm an octonaut on a mission to explore, rescue and protect; not a piece of meat for you to consume!"

But the octopus simply gave a short, malicious laughter. "Oh, I beg to differ! You look just perfect for a one-of-a-kind meal with the octoling title as a personal bonus!"

"Octo-NAUT! Now, LET ME GO!!!" Dashi fought HARD against all those tentacles wrapping tightly around her body, which were now beginning to guide her legs to the octopus' feeding hole, at his very center!

She felt her feet starting to get consumed by that rough, fleshy entrance followed by her legs...

"NOOOO! Stop it!" Dashi was officially in despair, wiggling and trashing against that strong, pulsating throat, in doomed attempts to break free, feeling as she was slowly devoured by that greedy, giant octopus, with her hips being now swallowed, with her chest and arms next to follow.

Just before her hands were pushed through his throat, rather miraculously, she managed to free one of her arms from the tentacles' immense grip, to make a desperate call for help. "CAPTAIN! HELP! A giant octopus is eating me!!!"

Unfortunately, now that she needed rescue more than ever, she only got radio silence. "CAPTAIN COME IN!!!" she screamed into the radio again, but there was only more radio silence. And the octopus reminded her why.

"Hey, isn't the signal-- what was it again? DEAD in here, right? So there's NO radio comms working here?" he was terminally mocking her for her lack of caution, "I managed to overhear how you communicated, or rather, didn't communicate with your superiors when locked in a gargantuan steel can like this! Oh, and backup won't be coming in 30 minutes or so? Cause I'm pretty sure I heard that too, about 10 minutes ago!"

With this, Dashi's heart sunk into her chest, as the measure of how doomed she was finally dawned upon her. She was alone, with no way to call for help, and no one coming to her rescue for at least 20 minutes. And with her whole body, now up to her upper chest plus an arm being pushed through the throat of a hungry giant pacific octopus, her chances of holding out long enough for salvation were slim to none.

"N-no, this can't be my end! HEEELP!!!" she screamed as her despair hit new heights. She squirmed and struggled harder than ever against the strong, imposing tube of flesh squeezing, massaging and pulling her further into her final destination. And with her somewhat free arm, she tried to free herself from those tentacles still warapping themselves around her to keep her in place, but he overpowered her by simply grabbing said arm with a single tentacle, and even pushing it through his digestive hole to swallow it along the rest of her body!

There was nothing she could do any more, other than to feel that powerful throat press against her and push her body, nearly up to her shoulders, further into the inside of this 8-legged mosnter using her as an upper class meal! She could scream and squirm all she wanted, but nothing was helping her, even in the slightest, to escape what surely felt like a fate of digestion!

In fact, she already felt her feet entering a tight and soft yet rough chamber, which could only be his stomach!

Well, at least it couldn't get any worse, could it?

"Now..." the octopus spoke again, "let's do something about that helmet of yours that's already bothering me".

"N-no!! Not the helmet!!!" Dashi's alert levels shot up just a little more. Not the helmet which allowed her to breathe underwater, which she had taken almost for granted, was now going to be removed!

In her current state, she was trapped and helpless to fight back (other than fiercely squirming, which she did) as the octopus already had 2 of his tentacles wrapping around her helmet, feeling around and looking for the mechanism that would open it up, allowing him to feel, taste and better ingest (and digest!) her head as well.

And after not even a minute... "Presto!" he finally found and pressed the button that deactivated her helmet!

"NOO-GRBL!!" Dashi could only scream for less than a second before it opened up, all the seawater filled the space around her head, forcing her, very direly, to hold her breath, as her devourer already surrounded her newly unshielded head with his tentacles, in order to have a little taste of it before ingesting it as well.

"Ahhh... Now that's more like it!" Satisfied with his meals' current form, the octopus finally moved in to finish her off.

She could only emmit panicked bubbly garbles the moment she felt the throat resume pushing her even further inside, with now her neck, face and top of her head being progressively both massaged and smothered as she fully entered that fleshy tube of doom.

There was no measure to the agony that Dashi was in at this moment. Deprived of her breath with the throat fiercely caressing her, pressing violently against her chest and head, pushing her deeper into her predator, allowing her no way to fight back against him, other than her constant yet feeble squirming that did nothing for her, no matter how hard she fought and wiggled.

And now her thighs and hips were being deposited into what was the stomach, she had no doubt. Her legs were already crammed in that digestive sac, albeit still kicking (to offer whatever resistance she had in her), but now the rest of her entering as well. Chest, arms, shoulders, and finally her head all deposited into what would become the chamber of her doom.

"Ghaaaaph!" She gasped. Her face had just landed in a small but vital air pocket, allowing her to breathe once more! But now, not only was she SO tightly crammed in there that she was forced into a fetal position, there was the one, very simple fact: A giant pacific octopus had EATEN her alive! He had just been ingested and soon she'd be digested!

"HEEELP!!! LET ME OOOUT!!!" Dashi screamed her lungs out, and struggled hopelessly and desperately against the stomach walls, even if she knew all well that it would do nothing to avoid her inevitable end.

From the outside, the octopus felt satisfied, if not overjoyed, with the latest, BIG meal he just had. "Ahhhhh... that was MAGNIFICENT! A whole month worth of patience finally pays off!" he said with the deepest smile. He had waited so long for this gigantic stealth hunting spot finally yielded something special!

This was finally it! He finally had captured a live prey much larger than usual, an octonaut, no less! He could feel as she trashed around inside him, and it made him feel so powerfull! And to be honest, he was.

But now was not quite the time to relax: She had entered the submarine 15 minutes ago, meaning he had 15 minutes to get out and leave no trace (or as little as possible) of what had just happened, before another octonaut gets called in to investigate. Not wasting another second, the octopus picked himself and his living prey up and started making his way within the submarine, heading towards an exit that so far, only he had discovered. It was time to dissapear.

Dashi was already in hell. That is, a moist, fleshy and soft yet rough hell. The stomach walls were shifting violently and pressing hard against her entire body, allowing her little to no room to fight back, much less escape.

And yes, they were also secreting digestive juices onto her, which were already taking effect on her, as she felt her skin itching, her clothes starting to dissolve and her fur becoming soft.

"HEEELP!!!" Dashi continued to fruitlessly squirm against the fleshy prision that was the octopus' stomach. She squirmed as hard as she possibly could, doing her best to kick and punch against it, but it was pushing back hard, pressing against her still, draining energy and the little breathable air she had left.

And now that the octopus was on the move, it's stomach was shifting and swaying with her inside, meaning she was now getting not only thrown around, but nearly taken away from her vital bubble of air, and with the walls pressing harder, somehow, the simple task of breathing was now a matter of survival.

The one thing she did achieve, though, is wiggle her left arm, with the radio, towards her face. And at the very second that she could breathe, she screamed into it for one desperate, final call for help.

"CAAAPTAAIN!!! CAAAPTAAAAAAAIN!?!?!?" But there was only silence.

Lethal radio silence.

There was no point. The reality was dropping heavy onto poor Dashi. She was goind to die alone, devaoured alive an whole by a hungry, giant octopus, trapped in its voracious belly.

And to put a cap on this point, her brief bubble of air was expelled out of the stomach, leaving her with nothing to breathe, just as the walls continued to constrict and toss her around.

"BUURP! Oopsie, hehe!" The octopus giggled at his minuscule misbehavior, as he felt the final stream of air leave the inside of his belly.

While still moving towards his exit point, he felt his octonaut prey trash around even harder, no doubt trying to break free from his stomach's embrace, even if just to catch some air, at this point. It wasn't gonna happen.

Poor Dashi was panicking, losing her breath and protesting against the octopus' stomach. If she could, she would have cried right now. She didn't want to die in here! She had so much to explore and to serve as an octonaut, to end up as lunch for a giant octopus! But was there even a way out of this?

Now she could only try to kick, wiggle, claw at those pressing, pulsating walls, even find the sphincter that she came through and squeeze her way out here. To no avail.

She was trapped in here for good.

Not only were the stomach juices already eating away at her, her lungs were officially screaming for air. With the walls trashing her constantly, the acid itching turning into pain and the prolonged lack out air, Dashi couldn't take it anymore. She agonizingly let go of her breath, and the juices filled her lungs as well, burning her from the inside, as well as drowning her.

"I should have taken Kwazii to come with me..." was her final thought before she blacked out.

Feeling how his prey's struggled slowed down to a stop, the fulfilled octopus finally reached his exit: A hole present at the very bottom of the submarine, probably from when it crashed, leading straight into a hidden underwater canyon / cave.

This is exaclty how he was able to get in and out to survey the craft itself without being detected, and it would be how he would leave undetected with an octonaut slowly dissolving in his belly, without leaving a trace of what had happened.

He had made extra sure about this last point. He ensured there were no pieces of equipment or clothing that could be linked to his prey, including carrying with him that camera that she had brough in. And there were 10 minutes left, if his time tracking was at all correct, before more people were called in.

All and all, by the time anyone figured out what happened, if ever, he would be far, far away from here, with Dashi long gone. And just to be sure, he would eventually take whatever remained oh her and place it, along the camera, somewhere so that it couldn't be tracked.

Right now, it was all about getting away. Far, far away. In every sense, getting away with it.

Now that he was moving along those hidden sea passages, he relished on what he had just achieved. All his patience netted him not only a big, juicy, living and kicking morsel, but an octonaut, of all people! What a scout to take! And what a pleasure to have had her futilely resisting her capture and subsequent consumption!

The giant octopus now had enough food to last him another month. And once it eventually gets fully processed, and he erased any available trace of what he did, he would look for another place, another oportunity to find another big, live prey just for himself.

All in good time, yet hopefully soon enough; in a very near future...

...

After 30 minutes, Captain Barnacles, with a bad feeling in his gut, called to the radio, already very worried for her safety.

"Dashi, come in!" He was now desperate to get a single answer. "Dashi, can you hear me!? DASHII!?!?"

There was only radio silence.

Hello, everyone!

This is it... my first FULL story!

After posting some wireframe tales of vore, plus a "partial", I've finally gotten to writting my first full length (compared to what I've written so far) vore story.

And the prey for this instance? Dashi from Octonauts.

I have to ask, why isn't there any more art of this show? Seriously, it showcases SO many aquatic creatures that are not even shy about their intentions of attacking / eating them sometimes. Plus a couple of instances of real vore involving a whale shark! Quite bold for a kid's show, and it deserves more attention here than it gets, in my opinion.

In summary, Dashi visits an old, abandoned submarine. She finds a giant octopus, hungry for her! I had this idea pop up some time ago, and it took me a ood chunk of time to flesh it out as I wanted.

So, I really hope you enjoy this! And I don't know when but expect more from me soon!
